Tom Clancy's EndWar.
Sorry for the double post, but I guess this is a bump. Me and my friend rented this this weekend. I'm pretty good, he sucks terribly (GUNSHIPS < TRANSPORTS DAMMIT). I want it so bad. SO SO SO BAD. Xbox Live is awesome, apparently. He doesn't have it, so we didn't find out what it was like. Florida's swamplands are fantastic for fighting. Pinscer movements are ridiculously easy, and even expert AI can't stop them if you've got artillery pounding 'em as well. Our campaign on normal was awesome, though. First, we fought off two or three Russian attacks (really easily), then decided to continue our glorious America's attack on Eastern Europe and Russia. The Europeans were leaving us alone, taking over southern Russia, and we took over the Swede states and northern Russia. Easy as pie (except for my friend, who lost the only two battles he played ). Then, Europe and Russia began to fight over Moscow. We couldn't get in on that action, so we captured all the territories surrounding. We also conquered Mediterranean Europe. It was awesome. I left before we won, though. Also: The first battle Americans will fight in Espana (on the coastal plains) is best fought with artillery (guarded by tanks). A few gunships don't hurt, either. Oh, and a tip: If you're winning, or about to be winning, MOVE YOUR TROOPS AWAY FROM EACH OTHER. A desperate loser WILL use WMDs on the largest cluster of your troops. Even in the battles I was winning completely (I had like a 10-1 streak on it ^_^), a Pulse Laser Strike by the damn Europeans crushed half my troops. Oh, and Americans - your WMD's blast radius is MASSIVE. Move all troops a minimum of a kilometer away (a lot on these battlefields). No story today.

Epicureanism - Beauty of Not Indulging
Sharing philosophy =/= sharing religion. We all share incredibly basic philosophies, to some extent anyways.

Is God real post your thoughts!
Yeah, his post wasn't so bad, but the storm is soon to come.

Crap. My nieces and nephews are not going to live good lives.

Looks like you're going to have a phenomenal end of the year, eh Iam?

Political Stereotypes
Finland's likely the best example of socialism in the modern world, actually. BUT. It has a tiny population without very much diversity, as Quoi posted.

Jeb Bush possibly running for senate in 2010?
In my school last year they taught us every method there was, emphasizing abstinence. They helped get that point across by doing the STD lesson the same day.

Top all time favourite PC games?
Probably Starcraft and Civilization IV. I don't play many computer games.

Am I, like, the only person that isn't a dark, murderous soul full of teen angst? >_>

The bible
Science fills the human why and how we always crave. Religion fills the "for what reason?" in science's tracks. It has always been so, and likely will be.

I know you've been here longer than me. I just think you're being ridiculously hostile and a bit of a hypocrite (if you've seen many of my posts, you'll know I am, too). Ah well, can't see eye to eye with everyone. Sorry 'bout being such a jerk in my post, that was pretty ridiculous. Also, I find it interesting that you don't want the respect of fellow forumgoers. I sure do - but, I've been relatively active for a while, and built a little bit of a bond between people. I like having peoples' respect and giving it to others. Meh. To each his own, eh Collective? I guess I'll get kinda back on-topic. I don't much know/care about the Senate. Heh. He seems like he'd be competent, at least, even though I don't agree with him on all issues. Is it bad that when I first saw him I thought of the show "Lil' Bush"'s rendition of him?

Gun Control
Quite. That's why I think concealed weapons are fairly ridiculous. Keeping a weapon is your home makes more sense, since you'll keep it there if you're a hunter or recreational shooter anyways, plus most robbers have more common sense than to not leave if you have a gun in the house. Not that many are stupid enough to go into your house when it's obvious you're there - just the plausibly dangerous ones.

Heh. Let me make this simple for you. You will gain no respect, on these forums or in life, by declaring someone's post "[cabbage]" or by calling people stupid. You come across as ignorant and too blatantly lazy to form any sort of coherent point. You are also incorrect. You did not say either "abstinence didn't work" or "abstinence education didn't work". You said "it doesn't work". Also, my snide comment was due to my being on this board for a while and noticing Barihawk is quite good at debating. Judging by your two posts so far, you are not. So, in contemplation of my post, I was harsh and only feeding you what you want. But, I really don't care. I like to be the one that points out how stupid people can be. I'll report my own post, since I'm being just as much of an [wagon] spamming up this thread. Oh, and next time you try to call someone stupid, use proper grammar. In the future. Also, I have a rocket launcher. Your argument is invalid.

That's not abstinence not working. That's people rebelling. THE WORLD IS LIKE THAT. If you literally believe abstinence doesn't make you less likely to get an STD or knock someone up...Just no. Sums up the rest of your post nicely. Honestly, I can't wait for Barihawk to tear you a new one.

Personality Test
I noticed that, too. Almost exactly. Wierd. Also, only 4.5% of American males and 5.5% of females are like me. I'm supposedly a pimpin' leader or something like that.
-
Personality Test
I reckoned. I think I'll like the Multiple Intelligences Test more. I'll post the results for it, too. EDIT: Put them both on one. \ Yeah, this was obvious for me. They're all the same. You really need a personal experience to find out what a person's about. Nobody's actually the same - just similar.

The Ultimate Question - Boxers or Briefs
You guys are wierd. I've used the hole for ten years. It's so much faster. I don't even buy the buttoned boxers anymore, because that's ridiculous. I lean to the left anyway, I don't need protection from my zipper.

Political Stereotypes
I think it's stupid, often true, but never true when you try to bring it up. Just one of those things. I, for example, hate politics, but if I have to have a view, I'm more conservative with most things that are considered differences (unimportant things like abortion and gun rights). But I know about both sides and I at least consider myself relatively open-minded. Wutevlol.

This made me giggle. There are few people who advocate actual advancement in this entire world. You just want change, to your own views. Nothing wrong with that, but it isn't advancement when the ideas have been around for a while. See? I only quoted to show you. I have to say, why shouldn't abstinence be taught in schools emphasized? I mean, you should teach kids to have safe sex over abstinence, but it should still be a part of the whole sex ed thing. I mean, you can't stab yourself without a knife (well, you can't stab and impregnate a girl...I'll stop before I go into detail). Also, while I agree some of the whole drug war thing is wasted, not all of it is. A good slice of it goes to helping forces fighting the druglords in Latin America - in Colombia, they're the Mafia.

The bible
Can we get a "No [bleep]s" sign on every thread in off-topic? I'm really tired of [wagon] coming in thinking they're funny or intelligent or rebels when they are blatantly ignorant about religion. Magekillr, for example, while I often disagree with him, I respect (most of the time) because he respects me (most of the time). AAAARGH. Whatever. I don't technically follow the New Testament in worship, or belong to any particular church. I like gospel churches the most, though.

College Football 2008
I doubt it. I've met him, and he enjoys Lubbock a lot - apparently. It would have to be one heavy chunk of money from Auburn to take 'im.

Epicureanism - Beauty of Not Indulging
Can you change your signature to "absolute" please? Your PM is disabled and that always bugs me. :P This reminds me of vows of poverty taken by many religious officials. I don't understand it, but if it makes you happy...

Same here. If I ever see anything I take a fancy to, I'll buy it then and there. I've even worked for three hours as a clerk in Target (apparently I wasn't supposed to) so I could buy a Millennium Falcon. Thing's [bleep]ing awesome.

What do you want for christmas/hanukkah?
St. Nicholas is who Santa Claus is based on. He was an insanely rich Turkish man that discovered Catholicism and took a vow of poverty. He kept the money, though - because every December 5th, the day before his birthday, he'd go into a nearby town and fill children's shoes with candy and toys. The idea of a modern Santa Claus was brought about in the late 19th century. Rudolph was an invention of Macy's in the forties. Oh, and December 25th was a previous sun-worship festival in Egypt.

Special rewards from companies (edit)
They're probably Commie spy devices. I can help you destroy every single one. Take the blue pill and be free, or the red pill - and live your same, worthless life forever. AHEM. Uh-uh. Well, I guess I kinda do. I socialize with workers at places I go often, and get occasional discounts and things like that. You know that guy that always has a usual at a restaurant, and the cook always says "Ehh, third girl this week, eh!" That's me 8-)
