The Most Bittersweet Level Anyone Could Ever Get
:twss: :twss: :twss: Been using slayer to train melee as long as I can remember. It eventually got me this. Now the reason it's bittersweet, is because I couldn't put off doing that hellish MEP2 any longer. I hate quests more than anything, it's the reason I'm level 128 with only dragon gloves. For this level, I had to do Sheep Herder, MEP1, and MEP2 in about 2 days. God.. that was annoying. Now, it's over. I'm going to keep slaying to 99 str then just skill for a long while. Rate out of ten Oh and this sig I made(badly) in paint.

Mourning Ends 2 Dark Beasts
Grah but i hate quests. I'm the only level 128 with dragon gloves :-# Oh well. I'll start on it today then.

Mourning Ends 2 Dark Beasts
I know I need to do only part of the quest to kill them, but do I have to do the whole thing to get them as a task? Because.. wow. I really don't want to do that. :-# Thanks for your time.

We call you skillers; you know, the guys who hate combat? I call myself a slayer.

Lock this
Nope. There are no rules to prevent someone from "stealing" your spot. They can and have every right to do so.

DFS Price
I think they'll start to head up any second now. The shields are only as good or marginally better then the DFS and the DFS is more widely available.

Hm, I agree with you then. Then what I really want is something new for non pkers who hate boss hunting. There's a lot more of us than people think. :-#

I like the Elysian one but hey, it's not needed at higher levels and thats what makes me mad. As I've said in this thread already, 99 Defense and a bunyip or even half a load of food is enough to last me through all my tasks. I wish they buffed up the Slayer monsters already.. Meh. Still might buy the Elysian one just for the hell of it once the price goes down.

A 1 minute intro into a 3 minute video with teenage angst music set to runescape gameplay and annoying video effects. Really? Anyone else going to put the highest GE price for the most expensive Spirit shield. It's only gonna go up. Hey i agree, it's a bit long. But that music rocks. 8-)

Curious about the shields, but i can already do every task with no problem with a Rune Defender, so i'm not very excited. But hey, my Hp Cape is white now :D

Outsanity Reaches 90 Summoning!
Heh didn't even know you were a tif member. I remember seeing you at kalphites. Took a picture because you had an awesome name and a rare familiar to have(at the time). :twss: 10/10 Chamelons rock.

Getting ready for some serious slayer
And don't listen to this. :-# Super str's are much better since you can use a dds with it.
-
Impressiveness of the Kill
There should be a "highly stupid" rating for kills like that. Where they should be penalized for being idiots. I'm just going to go with what they use. Armor equiped will be "used", potions "used", and familiars "used"

Getting ready for some serious slayer
Well if you're going to use summona then a cannon is almost completely needed. The majority of her tasks are cannonable.
-
Is this worth it?
If all the good stuff isn't needed, then what would one spend all their money on? Even though something isn't needed, they're still great to have. What kent is getting at is that, it is nice to have. But not worth spending all your money on.

Get a whip and train on controlled, your stats are pretty good for that. Buy a fury.No substitute. Just buy the fury. And i would highly reccomend the berserker ring since the +4 slash is incredibly small while the +4 str really makes a difference. One more thing, if you want slayer exp mostly, then don't bother with ranging any tasks whatsoever. Melee is much better on everything really. But if you want the range exp, i guess you could sacrifice a bit of slayer exp per hour for it if you want. But keep the karils for bloodvelds and mage based attacks.

Study Music
Some of the slower Rise Against songs mostly.

Getting ready for some serious slayer
Bunyip Slaying: Slayer Helmet Fighter Torso/Barrows body Barrows Legs D Boots RFD Gloves Bersker Ring Fury Rune Defender Whip/D scimitar Obby Cape/Skill Cape/Fire Cape You'll need about 2-3 Bunyips per task so take a 2 dose of Summoning potion on every task you'll use him on. Keep a good supply of Pure Sets handy. It's about 2-3 Pure sets per task. A hundred or so Home tabs. Get a home glory for banking in edge and easy access to GE. Get a canafis portal for teleing to slayer tower. Bring a dds for specs. A cannon for kalphites and the like. 1k or so monks if you're going to use a fighter torso since you'll lose a lot of defense and need a few of these as backup on tasks. Bunyip should be all you need on every task if you use a barrows body. Bring alchs if you're not on lunar. Be on lunar preferably. And it's only good to start slaying with a combat familiar at 79+ summoning. If you get that then switch out bunyip pouches for titans and buy guthans for healing.

Not all that good but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Low-Leveled Charm Droppers
Oh I saw that guide. Seems cool. I seem to remember Icefiends being a decent gold charm dropper, try those? I can't be sure though.

Low-Leveled Charm Droppers
Greater demons are pretty low for crims and Ice giants are decent for golds.
