Pretty boring day. But I think my liking to RuneScape has come back. I went online today and actually enjoyed myself. :shock: Quite different from my usual go online for an hour, get bored and log out for another month. Today I've been relaxing most of the time. Listening to a few albums I haven't listened to for months. Still sooo bored. :( I need new ideas on what to learn on bass. Still wondering when I'm gonna get those bass lessons soon. I wanna see what I don't already know. :lol: Right now I'm sitting in silence, browsing TipIt. I should post more often instead of being all lurker.

It's 6 AM, I got nothing to do, and I decided to post on TipIt OT for the first time in forever. Summer started, pretty bored, got new Ernie Ball strings for my bass, gonna start getting bass lessons over the summer as well for the hell of it, and yeah. Pretty damn boring life. :| So, I'm currently trying to think of things to do at 6:10 AM that won't wake up my parents.

I've read both series completely, and in all honesty, I'm not sure which is better. Twilight is pretty good, minus the writing. Great storytelling, really. Many cliches, though. Bad character development as well. Harry Potter is great in writing and such, good plotline. If I had to pick between the two, though, Harry Potter.

I saw that exact same protest when I was there on Thursday. They've been at it for awhile :lol: I was there on Friday. :lol: At the same time, we obsessively took pictures of the White House. But my friends compared the protesters posters to a certain part of Encyclopedia Dramatica. -.-

I find it exceptionally worse when they realize that it isn't a guitar when they take it, then ask why there's only 4 strings. Hm, this is a useless post, but I'd like to say while I was in Washington DC this weekend, I saw one of these protests. I'll see if I can ask my friend for the pictures he took. It was right in front of the White House, and most of the posters they had were of very graphic killings and such. Although, I didn't understand what they were chanting. :lol:

Some people just take the strap off me and try and take it. -.- Then they play Smoke on the Water badly or something. I hate that.

If you want to pick faster, one thing is to get low-gauge picks, and hold the pick with maybe 1 or 2 millimeters away from the tip of the pick. Then practice moving your pick up and down, increasing in speed. Try keeping a nice rhythm. You'll also probably need to know this for pinch harmonics, makes them easier. This is probably common knowledge, but it's one of the things I didn't know about when I started. :lol: Found it worked for me.
