The way fashion has changed reflects societal change - the feminist movments did a lot for fashion. It used to be 'traditional' to wear dresses and skirts, but with feminists fighting these figurative parameters of archaic society, it gave many women confidence - a confidence that continues today, which is why I think they seem to be worn less.

College has completely screwed me over with maths tuition. They've timetabled my maths all wrong, so instead of being able to resit my maths exam in November, I have to wait until March, where I do it along with another exam. Really very frustrating, I'm already going to have enough on my plate with a full-time art diploma.

I'd like to see you with a bushy beard, that would be rather amusing.

4 days ago I visited Lacock Abbey - home of W. H. Fox Talbot, the maker of the earliest known photographic negative, and continued his work to form the basis of negative/positive photography today. I took a selection of photos around the abbey. My assignment at college is 'Structure', so Lacock Abbey is perfect.

I love the first one - lovely detail. I think a little series of photos like this would be rather interesting.

It is actually! It's a nice sense of pride seeing a plate / mug etc that you've made with you're own design on it. It's proper 'artistic' ceramics, that focuses more on design rather than function.

Just chilling this morning. I only have one lesson at college today - ceramics, and that's this afternoon.

I come with new music. New music from ADR I managed to get one of 300 vinyl copies (no repress). With the vinyl purchase I got a free MP3 download, so I uploaded the album to Youtube. See the playlist My personal favorite - Very interesting. Sounds like Boards Of Canada got together with Vangelis and made music.

Hey - so I want to make a simple music video in iMovie - all I'd like to do is place an album cover in the video and have the music playing - no animations, just a single image, like this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mW6G3nh5S3I I've tried and tried to figure out how to do this in iMovie, and I just can't! I'm using iMovie 08. How would I go about doing this? Thanks

Set a reasonable time to go to bed and wake up. Stop all brain-intensive activity (as to give your brain a rest from constant stimulation) - your brain should be able to wind down much easier, therefore giving you much better sleep.

Often the way to attract a girl is to act the opposite to how you would think you should act. But if she's acted like that for a month, it's a pretty clear sign she's not interested. Move on.
