I'm pro choice - use it if you want - it's relatively harmless, but if you gain any ill effects from it's usage, the healthcare system shouldn't have to treat you - though this only really applies to countries with public, taxpayer funded healthcare.

They're there to dissipate energy more efficiently throughout the deck - some decks will get saggy flex when they're ridden a lot, but with these holes it takes a LOT longer. A friend of mine has these strange glasses with hexagons which can be focused to different amounts of shapes on the lenses - gets some awesome results when you put a camera lens behind these cool glasses! here's another photo for you all to admire;
