Albel, talk to someone who knows enough about hardware to devise a lower-budget gaming rig, such as Nadril.

Fosters, proof that Australians can con enough people into buying piss in a bottle that it's profitable.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discussion Thread
So it seems that Skyrim now makes use of the Steam Workshop. To commemorate this, Valve and Bethesda have created the first mod downloadable from the Workshop; everyone's favourite Space Core. Console users can now go sit in a corner and wish they had bought the PC version/.

Trying to prepare one of my flash drives to be usable as a bootable drive so I can put the developer preview of Win 8 on my laptop. It's only a 4GB drive and has taken 10 minutes to get 20% formatted. I'm getting an EEG test done tomorrow and at the rate this is going I'll need them to permit me to sleep for the whole [bleep]ing test. EDIT: Nearly [bleep]ed my computer over, hard reset saved it. Had to switch to my friend's 8GB flash drive as somehow a drive that was 3.72GB formatted couldn't hold 3.6GB of files. It's now at 55% formatted.

Hightower, that's the one. Basically, I went something like 27-0 because of how I used it.

Been dreaming about drug use more and more. Annoying that doing them is a bit difficult for me, since police newly have powers to set up road-side drug screenings.

[TF2] It's MANN Vs. Machine!
Force-A-Nature works just as well. If you want a different assassination setup option try getting your first shot out from a farther distance and fire the second right next too him so he will attempt to blast his feet for the finishing blow. Winger works great for finishing him off safer and reliably. The minicrits allows me to hit for 140 at a close enough range and no pellets missing. A slightly damaged heavy will also go down in 2 shots, and he doesn't fly off before the second shot connects. I love the Dead Ringer. It's invaluable on that plr map where at the end you have to go up that lift.

Oh god, just recently rediscovered the Soda Popper and it is OP. I managed to take down a soldier who was being healed by a medic with it. Without a medic, soldiers drop before they realise someone is attacking them. Setting up for it is a pain in the arse, though.

Tim, that party last night sure did suck. One of the girls there broke down because we were telling her to not see her ex because she pretty much has destroyed him. She had a [bleep] at me because she thought she knew what would help him more than me, his best friend. He eventually got invited over and from the moment they met up I knew things were going to go to shit, and they did. She tried attack a man who has passed out drunk on the neighbour's yard because she thought he was spying on the whole thing. Someone was spying on the whole thing, but he ran off. So remember kids, don't ever stick dick in crazy. She'll break you one day and try to assault your best friend and nearly every guy.

There's a wondrous way to force sub-par software on people, and it's called compatibility requirement.

Woman wins $9,867 in small claims court over "false" MPG figures.
Yeah. I don't mind this court case. It seems trivial, but if it helps enforce truth in advertising, I'm for it. EDIT: What kim said. For all you know this car was getting 25 MPG. Yet everyone assumes it was getting 49.5... She could have easily been getting 25MPG, someone else could easily get 45MPG with the same car. Maintenance and driving habits can make a huge difference. If I blast the aircon on full in my little car I can use up to twice the amount of fuel over the same distance. Would I go and sue Mazda because my car would not get anywhere near the advertised MPG due to my driving habits, and then go and refuse to have it checked up so any faults that would cause a drop could be rectified? No. This woman shouldn't have either.

There's a big difference between open source and free (as in free speech) software, which is still different to free (as in free beer) software.

... Ok that's it, you've got to be shitting me. foobar2000 is an amazing media player, both nimble and minimalistic. Rainmeter is another handy piece of software that actually gets me to look at my wallpaper as I just minimise everything and get access to system usage, HDD space used/total, a good look at how large my recycling bin is, network monitoring, and an RSS feed. ImgBurn is something I find extremely handy as it allows me to back-up discs I own to allow me to keep them in a safe space and still use them. My DVD drive is also non-functional so it allows me to still install games onto my desktop using my laptop. 7-zip is only not useful if you've never interacted with any compressed files. F.lux is truly a marvellous program that adjusts colour temp of your monitor based on the time of day, so as to cause less damage to your eyes at night. Mumble is an amazing voice chat application that can integrate rather well with afew of games, offering both an overlay, along with positional audio allowing you to hear your teammates as if they were actually talking to you from in the game. Thanks for fixing up my quote Kimberly, I spent a good few minutes trying to fix it but couldn't for some reason.

Julian Assange is currently fighting an extradition over a women who he had consensual sex with, because she later saw him getting intimate/flirting with another woman. She had made him breakfast and even sent him happy messages before finding out. Another famous one, is the Duke lacrosse case. Or the Hofstra case. I really could go on about false rape claims from consensual sex, but I would be here for a few days.

If you read my last statement it says 'my own' laywer and accountant. In relation to your other things if the music industry was so bad then nobody would be making music. You're using these examples to paint some of the music industry as the big bad ogre as a way of justification for piracy of music. If these artists are as really ripped off by the organisations as you say they are then all you're doing is ripping off the artist further. If you were successful in sending all these organisations to oblivion what then...? You'd just be looking for other excuses to pirate music under the banner of saving some other poor soul. For your first point, see the second paragraph of my response to Omar. You are absolutely correct that some of the best software is free.............but most of it isn't. If you really take a look at some of the software you've listed there are 'pay for' versions with more features. Did you even read the article I linked to? Of course not all artists don't pay off their debt. But the majority end up with debts to which they cannot pay off. They may front you the money None of the things I linked have paid-for versions. Yes, some of them have paid-for alternatives, but none of them are better. I even find the free alternative for Photoshop to be better to use. The thing is that we don't need to pirate things to destroy the industries, they can't compete with the legal, and free, alternatives.

Free Healthcare for lawbreakers?
Not providing free healthcare for lawbreakers does not equal providing no healthcare for them. In a situation where it is a known that criminals injuring themselves whilst breaking the law (excluding minor offences as discussed previously) will not receive free healthcare- it may discourage them from behaving such a way. Of course they should be given healthcare when needed, but (in my opinion) that does not mean it should be free and paid for by the society they harmed by whichever criminal activity they were doing whilst getting injured. That's like saying that if we were to put gun-free zones everywhere, criminals wouldn't use guns in those areas. Do you really think that the lack of free healthcare will stop criminals?

So... am I missing something here? What part of it is rape? Legally, if a woman changes her mind at a point, even after having sex, she can call rape even if she doesn't say no at any point. The worst part is that if the genders were reversed the man would get told to man up. There have been cases where men have been raped by their SO and the police just laugh at them. Source? While I can't give you a source right now on raped then laughed at by police, as it was a few comments on some reddit posts, I can provide a case of a man being raped by his girlfriend. In all honestly I'm too damn tired to find much for you, but hopefully someone else will while I catch up on some much-needed sleep.
