Congratulations, you currently have $618.90US, if you were to sell them now at market.

Eh, if it's digital it can be copied. Unless, like multiplayer video game keys, controlled by the company...which the USA will not approve. Pay in cash. <_< I think it's useless; I don't see it as an advantage over dollars. Can't pay in cash over the net, and the way the system was built is so that every coin has a unique hash connected to it, I can't remember how exactly it worked, but it was deemed unhackable due to a way the P2P system works.
  3. Actually, he's dating the first person to be legally recognised as having no gender at all.

I'm just wondering how governments are going to react to it in the nearish future.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjo& Basically bitcoins are a P2P form of currency that's used solely through the web. The main differences between bitcoins and regular currency is that bitcoins are attached to your computer, they cannot be counterfeited as far as we know, they negate the need for banks and other middlemen, transactions are non-traceable which is perfect for those purchases you'd rather not let your wife see (such as her birthday present, don't want to spoil the surprise now.) Bitcoins are secured through hash values, and are generated using processing power at a predetermined rate as not not allow an excess of coins in the market or manipulation of the values. The amount of real cash that bitcoins are worth has been steadily rising, further supporting this point. People claim to have already been hired to do things using bitcoins, and as time goes on it'll become more commonplace. What are your thoughts on bitcoins?

*sigh* I have no choice but to appeal my licence suspension. Here's to hoping I'm successful.
  7. That's why I'm glad I'm not a console user. [bleep] centralisation.

Grats mate  Now it's my turn..... whenever. I'd never do that out of respect for the woman. My ex and I would usually sing it, but it isn't something I'd go around telling people.

Saying the drug part as a constable or something? In any case, long story short, this topic is a "I do drugs/drink so I think I'm cool" thread. Minus drinking being under that, since just about everyone drinks. Eh, [bleep] what's 'cool.' 'round here taking drugs isn't cool and a lot of people look down on me for it. I don't give a [cabbage] what others think.
  10. Cask wine is the cheapest thing you can buy for how drunk you'll get off it. Why even get drunk off wine? It's how uni students get drunk over here. They haven't got the money to get pissed off anything else.

You can be completely sober and not be fit to drive. People need to learn to know when they shouldn't drive. If they choose to do so anyway then they're, as you said, [bleep]ing stupid.

So I've made my nickname facebook official, in Greek because the English version wasn't allowed. People would be able to search for me under ἀντίχριστος if I allowed myself to appear. Happened to me last Friday. Something like 7 paint cans got bent to all hell, and one broke open. Luckily I was working and that wasn't my paint can, but the paint went all over the tray and lots leaked onto the tires.
  14. You and I need to drink together some time.
  15. I'm a baked good. You going to steal me? 8-)

I failed my on Wednesday for the god damn mother [bleep]ing stupdiest rule ever. Was an unctrolled intersection: Ie. that. Instead of the norm where red gives way to blue, it's the other way which is goddamn [developmentally delayed]ed considering 99.99% of all intersections are controlled here. Oh well. The [bleep]. That goes against common sense. Exactly. Rob: Nope. The red car should give way to the blue car. I'm confused why so many people get this wrong. You clearly all live in rural or super suburban areas, cause it's common sense to let the guy out into the busy road first, because otherwise he'd never get on the busy road. Clearly Blue is on a main street [avenue] and Red is coming out of a residential area [or parking lot, hard to tell]. If Blue did not yield right of way, Red would never be able to leave that street, causing a traffic back up. Blue [given that he's turning anyway] would be slowing down, and should allow Red right of way so that the [wagon] behind him don't run him over. I live in a rural area, but everyday I'm driving about in the city. I spend about 5 hours a day driving in city environments. Red should be giving way to blue as not to interrupt the flow of traffic. I'm in situations like this a dozen times a day. I've never been stuck where the red car is for longer than two minutes, and most of the time I go to traffic lights I'm waiting about two minutes anyway.

That link doesn't source the supposed studies. Not to mention it doesn't only count guns the user legally owned, which would be the only ones out of the equation if they were made illegal. On top of that, 63% of victims have criminal histories and 73% of the time they know their assailant (twice as often as victims without criminal histories.) [1] What we need is crime control, not gun control.

Nice. Question, does anyone else here have a tattoo fetish? I find sleeves really sexy on a girl.

If that was a 4-way intersection with no discernible main 'flow' of traffic, then he'd have to give way to the red car. However, it's a T-intersection and so therefore the red car is not part of the main flow of traffic and must give way to cars that are.

[bleep]ITY [bleep]ING [bleep]. Got caught speeding. 3-month licence suspension and a $211 fine. I deserved it and the fine doesn't bother me in the slightest, nor would it deter me from being a repeat offender, it's just I drive for a living and finding out how to get a probation for work purposes is proving to be difficult so I've had to email the RTA asking them about it. I hope I get an answer soon as I want to pay the fine, but I'm not going to until I know how to apply for the probation. Even though I pay to a different government department. Be my personal driver.
  22. I don't get stressed. I actually like stressful situations, makes me motivated to get things done and not put them off.
