  1. In Alpha and Beta, maps are infinite.
  2. 1. Three craftsmen are told to work with the elders and youth create a good rolling shape and find a way it can be used in the transportation of goods. 2. Spare axes are made. 3. The weavers are told to make another net.
  3. That depends, iron might not be rare, but normally when you find iron it's just a brown smudge of rust, actual veins of it are "rare".
  4. Another good thing with minecraft, if someone says they dig a mine then you can check if there is anything there.
  5. I was very bored.
  6. Server details?
  7. Hehe, what a great way to show that I sound as [developmentally delayed]ed as I seem, not by voice but you'll be sure to hear some words that have no meaning in any language.
  8. The minister of craftsmanship shall be called Skaara. 1 A small group of people are given axes and told to chop down a few trees, chop them into shorter logs and bring them back. 2 Some elders and young people are gathered in a tent and told to come up with an idea that uses how some shapes roll better than others. 3 The net is checked for trapped fish and the fishermen begin looking for a good place to stand by the edge and stab the fish with their spears.
  9. Use duller collours and smaller brush sizes. Buffs would be the kind of magic most fitting SoInF, after all the wall and Valyrian steel are said to have been enchanted.
  10. Almost done, but I've got to sleep. Some is random, some is chosen. Each house controls land to a total value of 50, only the greatest forts are given 10.
  11. Post medieval would be better, they have a variant of Roman fire. So let's say the game starts as late medieval and we can progress to the rennaissance. Also, in actuality the King has no power other than over his own house, it is the fact that the large houses follow him that make him important.
  12. Retech, the land is divided after the largest houses, the ones who are trusted and supported by the royal family which lives in King's Landing. Each family has a maester, a wise man who acts as researcher, librarian, notekeeper and doctor, he is taught in the Citadel, in Oldtown, Highgarden. A maester's professions are shown by the links on his chain, each topic he masters earns him a single link, each of a different metal depending on the topic. The grand maester recides in King's Landing. There are also three religions; the old gods upon which the Starks and Arryns pray are the gods of the legendary children of the forest, their churches are the godswoods and their altar's are the heart trees out of which eyes have been cut and the sap has hardened to make them seem real, godswoods can be found in the north, in the vale (though without trees in their mountaintop castle of a capital), one in King's Landing and all over the place north of the wall. Then there's the water god of the iron islands, the people there are baptised by drowning themselves and being brought back to life. And lastly there's the Faith of the Seven, the most common religion, they pray to the Father, the Mother, the Warrior, the Maiden, the Smith, the Crone and the Stranger, the priests are called Septons and the High Septon recides of course in the Grand Sept in King's Landing. The septas are "nuns" of this religion, yet act as teachers of household skills to children all over Westeros. And last there is the Wall, it is not a nation, but a physical wall of ice over 200 meter tall and about as wide as the Kingroad, covering the entire width north of... the north, separating the rest of Westeros from the wildling tribes and creatures that live beyond it, among the creatures that live there are direwolves, giants and mammoths as well as other, much nastier things. It has catapults and cranes on top to make things easier for the men, which they need. The wall is guarded by the Night's Watch, once a glorious position but now a place where criminals and bastards are sent. Once a man has sworn fealthy to the Night's Watch, leaving or wedding is a crime worthy of execution whatever place in Westeros he may be found. Along the wall are many towers, most of which have decayed, though some are kept in good shape as they are used. The Night's watch is undermanned and constantly needs more men. If you need any specific info then just ask. Magic exists, but is rarely practiced (because about 1/500,000-1/1,000,000 people can use it), much less so for combat pourposes. Dragons also exist but they have seemingly been extincted in Westeros (though they were introduced in the first place by the Targaryens), but they are native to some land far to the east.
  13. Actually it'd be fairer to divide Highgarden, the north is big because it's sparse.
  14. I am surprised how many that appear to have started reading the books within the last year.
  15. Ok, we're four then. I prefered the Starks, not because they're the house with the most POV characters but because they're northerners and they've got wolves.
  16. Server's back up.
  17. I see you enjoy the books. I sugguested that last time, but I think me you and Earth would have an advantage then.
  18. Ahh, I thought it was my internet again (using my old computer, for got the charger for my new one at school). Did you get the encryption method?
  19. Done making the models, they're simple, but so should the actual objects be: Hoverboard EMP, note USB for multiple triggering options. Resonator, grabs hold of the ship using magnets and starts shaking to make infra-/ultrasound. Nanite unit.
  20. Earth, expecting me to do it is one thing, however trained stealth soldiers could do so. The boards are designed to be small enough to be covered by a personal cloaking device and maneuvrable enough to allow the user to place EMPs and similiar devices directly on a ship's engine (asuming it's not active) and weapons. I'm done with the hoverboard design, it is simple but uses a method of control that should not only allow the user's suit to attach to it and control it, but also interface with it and give it biometric signals to abide by (knees bent = higher speed, etc.). Now to begin designing EMPs, ultrasonic and infrasonic resonators and nanite modules (basically a Swiss knife, a reacharging module capable of carrying a few hundred nanites used to open doors and infiltrate ship systems, may be used together with a datapad to interface with a ship's computer from anywhere on the ship).
  21. Lee, it's the exact opposite, imagine hijacking a trailer with skateboards. Anti-gravity plating is to make the boards lighter for levitating near gravitational wells. Though the actual levitation will be done by ion thrusters, which are perfect for light, flat things.
  22. I'm designing a new line of equipment, a sort of punk rouge set specifically designed to comandeer ships.
  23. I've got an idea for some technologies that will revolutionize spatial guerilla warfare. Instread of trying to explain it I will provide some .skp models and screenshots. But first, what material should I use to symbolize anti-gravity plating?
  24. Leather straps are also strings and I suspect balls of wool are too.
  25. Sere (Andvari) and Earth.
