I never assumed anything about the asteroid, I only joked about ut beeing the sort of living asteroid from Star Wars after we learned it was organic. And in designing the right thing to do is to start with what you want and then compromise. As for the ship we were about equally correct, I was correct in that they weren't completely dead nor natural, you were correct in that they were changed by a bioloogical factor and that they were braindead. Yes I am prone to jumping to conclusions and overestimating my luck, those are major flaws in my personality, however that is who I am and not changable in any way (at least not over less than a year).

Dungeoneering Again
Healing is not always a neccessity (living proof here), and there is no skill that is entirely unable to summon help and make a shelter. Take sound for example, a sound golem should be able to help you (annoying as it may be) and you could use the vibrations caused by sound to dig yourself a cavern in just about anything. Anyways puring is always a bad choice, however focusing is not. If you pure in for example aura, which is the only magic I can think off that would be at a disadvantage, then you are just stupid. And before you say light magic, a laser would work wonders with just about anything.

Haha, Earth! And Volta would not have killed me, a hand-welder has a short (mellee) range and a bullet in the knee and a tranquilizer in the chest would have knocked him out in no time.

Dungeoneering Again
I would've tried killing it barehanded if I had to, but you see I'm not so stupid that I go hand-to-hand against a creature more than ten times my weight unless there's no other option, I draw the limit for that on elkbirds. And even though I cause my own injuries I'm doing that the right way, my injuries either fill one of two cathegories; indirectly inflicted - serves a point for the character (like the torn flesh in my face after the first sound spirit) or directly inflicted - serves an actual pourpose (like concussion for losing direction or wide jaw for sound). Archi, my so called luck has struck twice out of two opportunities, my strategies may be close to insane, but they are effective.

Ok, zombies rely on being infective, else a zombie outbreak would be nothing else than the people directly affected by the source, Volta is not a Japanese name and I sent the message in Japanese, there's no way he could have generated a field strong enough to vapourice a person on pourpose and he was not in command of any active, powerful weapon systems (else we would've been killed instantly).

Dungeoneering Again
Earth, it is unrelated how I got the injuries. And I didn't spam magic, each spell had its own pourpose, the sound spirit was a distraction, the force was a stun, the electricity was a weakener, the geomancy was an attack and the aura was an attempt to eat its soul.

You know Earth, your logic is so full of holes that it makes a fence seem like a lump of lead.

Dungeoneering Again
Earth, I beat the most powerful kind of creature we've met yet in six actions (one of which was actually more of a theory since I didn't even begin casting) with multiple injuries and disadvantages. And I'm not going to heal, that's certain, I want scars and no healing magic, the closest thing I might do is to use normal medical equipment like bandages.

I was going by mindless + not viral = ghoul. Ghoul = radiation. Busted nuclear generator = radiation. Also I neither stated name or rank, I only stated that they should surrender Volta and lock themselves away. Also, Archi, if that is the case with engineer/scientist, then the proper title would be theoretical physicist.

1That's personal assault, both in the manner that you would be assaulting me and in the fact that you are just by requesting it. 2You have more experience with modern ships, if anything a scientist would be more adequate in repairing an old ship than an engineer, though a historian with experience would be better. 3You are trained on making circuits you know how work, but since your education does not include designiong new ones you will have a harder time repairing circuits you don't have experience with. 4It is next to useless against armoured personell, however against any unarmoured biological or mechanical entities it will be at an advantage. 5Doing so would reduce the efficiency of the weapon and as such reduce power as well as accuracy whereas ballistic weapons only reduce accuracy. 6Zombies can still hear, smell and touch you, and as we know zombies orient equally much by scent and sound. 7You knocked me out and kept beating my head for the heck of it, you even beat harder and harder as if your intention was to smear my brain onto the floor. 8I was trying to get to you, whom I assumed the drone was talking to. Given the opportunity again I would have stated the information on the tag, given it a sample of DNA from the tag or disarmed it. 9You are confusing me with Faust, my mistakes have endangered no one but myself, and only indirectly lead to your death in one case (beaming into vacuum while unprotected=/=good idea).

I like that idea, I'd go for bearl hunting... I just need some metal-ribbed hardleather armour to make sure I don't break any more ribs and get impaled by shrapnell. And the reason I only admit major mistakes is because they are the only true mistakes. You could call my concussion a mistake, but it helped me find the bearl (I think) and it sure as hell made my victory more epic. I, a scarred man with an open head wound, a recently stiched, major internal injury, a concussion and a jaw disconfiguration beat a bearl even though my spirit attacked me at first.

A headache can be caused by anything I sugguest a cup of tea (or other drinkable liquid), a painkiller and some rest. If you want to do the session then just be sure to drink and don't rush to respond to all actions. I'll try to say as little as possible with the exception of my actions, if everyone else does that too you should easily be able to keep a calm, steady pace and thus rest your mind and body a little better.

One word, poetry. Songs and poems can be a good way of spending imagination as well as pursuing love. No guarantees that it'll get you a girlfriend though. Oh... DEAR LORD NO. While the poetry I write is coherent, it sucks worse than my writing. And it's not a block, it's a blatant lack of talent. You only need three things to do it right, inspiration, a message and old/unusual words like thee and thy. Also, never attempt to rhyme anything with heart, if you do it'll either be very odd or offensive.

You know I'm too honest to be lying when I tell you that even though I leave the crew, I'll remain on your team. I will not intentionally harm any member of your crew except Nex or Earth, and them only if they really piss me off (you must realize why after Earth kept bludgeoning me in the head last session in order to keep me from waking up).

The ship is harmless, as are the bots, the only things that have to be gotten rid of are the abominations and their source. A little spray of ammonia and the ship is sterile. I want the ship because then I'll have something over which I can actually decide, a place where I can do what I want, something I can develop, upgrade and mould to my own requirements. The fact that it's old doesn't matter that only means it's easier to enchance, there will be few sub-systems blocking my way if I for example plan to replace the engines. And for the crudeness, everything has to start somewhere, just like Mozart for example, his career was started when he was caught playing with ink and a music sheet.

Your goal is to capture Volta and eliminate the hazard, I'm just doing the optional part too and salvaging the ship.

I will leave peacefully, but I won't leave the ship. Don't worry though, I'll get rid of any hazard onboard.

Ross: A-C: Doesn't bother me, that's what I'm going to correct about it. D: My bad decisions have been of next to no concern to you and they have never ended any missions (as I haven't participated in any) (also may I add, they have been both fewer and of less magnitude than Faust's). D-E: That is how you're breaking the game, you deny me both rights and a choice over my own destiny, even though I am neither your prisoner or slave. F: It is of no use to you, as you state, though the destruction of the ship is not actually part of the mission, it is better of in my hands where it can be fixed, cleaned and given both a future and a use. Archi, I beg you to interfere with this clearly gamebreaking exhibition of behaviour.

Earth, you can't nearly speak it as well as me, which would most likely be clear once you try to deal with a critical system. I am a scientist thus I am better at computers than you with you being better at physical repairs with us being eaqually good at fixing circuitry. None of our energy weapons are in any way able to equal the rate of fire my Nero can (not to mention the fact that unlike all our weapons but the phaser and the meson pistol it can be used one-handed). As Ross has stated several times in the zombie survival thread, using mellee as primary against zombies is suicide (which has been proven here). I am more adequate to deal with the situation than you, the only problem is that I can't do so without someone bashing my skull in for trying. Repairs are always cheaper than building and the drones would be harmless if dealt with properly. Just to make this clear, if I was ably to type how pissed I am at you right now there'd be a hole through my computer, my desk, my floor, the first floor, my basement and then at least another hundred meter into the Earth's crust. I advice you to stay out of my way and not interfere again, ever. The same counts for you, Nex. Ross, Dusty, I'd prefer if you granted me the opportunity as opposed to me going rouge to handle this.

I also have the only repid fire weapon, something which is a major advantage when facing an opponent where it doesn't matter if the weapon is ballistic. And since I have a computer and speak Japanese I'm the only one who can bring offline systems online. You can ignore the ship if you wish Earth, but even if I don't get any support I still wish to salvage it. If you deny my wish to remain on the ship in the event that you leave that is nothing short of being gamebreaking for the sake of being mean to me. Once you've out of range (if you leave me) I will begin repairing the ship, upgrading the ICOM and modify the bots to help me by acting as crewmembers, with a little luck I can get it back to its original state or even better. The fact that it's modular gives us an extra advantage, since that makes adding section easier as well as allowing me to lock down or even detach modules in case of boarding. Maybe I can even manage to locate the source of the zombie infestation and modify it to become an effective biological weapon that we can controll using nanites. Like it or not, I'm not leaving the ship and I'm not going to let you destroy it.
