  1. Went into a burning ring of fire?
  2. Damn, my brain locked up, any ideas on how to create a sort of bus that sends the first value recieved to the first, the second to the second, etc. using logic gates and buffers? EDIT: Nope, I got it! EDIT2: Damn, bad idea. Not a doable thing. EDIT3: Who'd thought it'd be that hard to create a "if this button is pressed first then this is the only button that can be first" function, now to make a "if first button is pressed then the second button can be pressed, but not by the same is the first". EDIT4: I'm just gonna screw the hole "no two buttons can be the same" function. Okay, here's the completed circuit, click the thumb and prepare to stare in confusion.
  3. Ok, I'm now sick of electrotechnics homework, I'ma make a circuit so complex that it gives my teacher a permanent headache/mental breakdown/seizure. I'm going to post it here when I thing it's done, if any of you can understand it then please tell me so I can make it worse, do not however try too hard. BTW: I'm totally serious.
  4. My mobile broadbond is from Telenor, hah! No idea of the status of my stationary connection though.

  6. Mask, the only thing I achieved when I silenced it was that it was automatically banished. I guess I'll need help from a teacher then, so I can summon one as a familiar, rather than a normal follower.
  7. But it doesn't only brew beer, it also makes akevit and soft drinks.
  8. Yeah, but it'll build up my character rather than my plot, which is a new twist for me.
  9. Yeah I'll passsss. Hey! Aass is the local brewery and the only remaining of the original breweries, their HQ is here in Drammen. Also the name (which has been commented before by someone famous) is actually pronouced as ås, the Norwegian name for hill and comes from the name of the family who founded it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aass
  10. I wanted to just wear it on my face normally, when I would need to talk it would be to talk for me, when I need to identify myself it would be to hover away from my face and talk and when I'm attacked it would fly off my face, screaming while the sight of my face would terrify the assailant.
  11. When I'm done moulding my character I won't be any shade of gray, I'll be an effing mirror... or a void.
  12. Games.
  13. It is FP and you can shoot, it's just harder to get the guns. EDIT: As I feared, you are missing out on somethung. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julebrus
  14. List of FPS games I play/have completed: Fallout NV, Battlefield BC2, Half-Life2, Half-Life2 Ep1, Half-Life2 Ep2. List of unusual FPS games I play/have completed: GMod, Portal. List of FPS games I gave up/was forced to give up: Mirror's edge, Counter-Strike 1.6. I can't believe I call myself a gamer.
  15. Really good, though you'll probably want this: TGM, you can take on quite a bit without it but it's that more awesome when the only thing you have to mind is not shooting important characters.
  16. I'm doing as much as to wonder wether I am bored enough to just go to bed.
  17. Rocco, are you trying to discourage or tempt me?
  18. Maybe if we could manage to create a sort of carrier symbiote for the anti-virus, putting said symbiote on the blow dart would inject it into the body where it could move to the brain.
  19. There are several electrical simulators available for free. The reason that perpetual motion machine doesn't work is because of the energy used whilst the levers are folding back in. :ugeek: EDIT: Wait, wrong machine. The reason it doesn't work is because the weight of the cone is place on the preassure pads, meaning it has to expend energy to leave said pads, eventually leading to 0 joule of energy left. :ugeek:
  20. Archi, electronics is the use of advanced components and batteries/DC current, electrics use simple components and AC current. Electrics don't use ICs, inductors, resistors, etc. and as such the only near-unpredictabillity is the electromagnetic properties. However as they are known in most cases where they matter, that removes the problem. As you see in my drawing (which is complex compared to most electric drawings, it only uses a 4-phase AC generator, 2 capacitor banks, a contactor, a button and four metal rails with a ground that is connected to both the generator and the casing for the metal rails. The two only parts of that that someone might not recognise is the contactor, for which the drawing is pretty self explanatory and the capacitors. Rocco, IMO technological advancement is most of the fun.

  22. That's a simplified electronic logic circuit, even though it is simplified it makes electrical systems look low-tech, which they are.
  23. I just noticed that the railgun was invented in 1918, was submitet for US patent in 1919 and recieved said patent in 1922. Nah seriously, the railgun is of much simpler design than the coilgun and as opposed to the coilgun it is rather a modified design rather than an invention, it is actually just a modified linear motor. Now if I can make one that works on four-phase current... Btw, would it in any way help me if I provided the electrical schematics for what I "invent"?
