I think Ross said it'll be tomorrow.

people sometimes tell me I'm beautiful... They also sometimes recoil in horror once I get fat, or if they smell my morning breath... you learn to deal with it. Nah, nothing scares or disturbs me. I've seen more disqousting things in my time than any human should... and I saw it on pourpose. :-D

Help & Introductions
Hi, I'm Mather, if you need any information within the topics of physics, chemistry, mineralogy, gemeology, electronics or biology then just ask, in all likelyhood I'll allready have done some meaningless research on it myself. Other than that I can do any useless and ridiculus math task you can imagine in less than an hour, I once calculated the energy requirement to keep a stable wormhole open using only three known constants (speed of light, size of an electron and radius of wormhole). Other than that I provide a fairly high amount of epic fails and randomness, and if you can imagine a way to get hurt I'll probably have a story on how I managed to do that.

I've allready sugguested that, they replied that the scince bay (the most oftenly destroyed bay) would be enough.

Ehm, micro-cold fusion also works in macro scale, repulsors have been used for other aplications since, micro-ion drives may prove usefull, micro-hellbores too, micro-gamma pulse torpedoes, better AI... If you can think of anything I'me made that can only be used for one thing then do tell me.

I have intended to repair several damages where you've just ninja'd the chance.

I have not directly killed anyone but myself, even though I once tried (in the simulator freak-out thing), the closest thing I've come is when Earth transported into the cargo bay I blew open. And I don't make bad decisions, my short-term ideas are just a bit too random or... exentric... to work the way I plan them to. When I broke the bay it was because of lack of information about the minerals in the asteroid, when I laid down on the asteroid I was just bored, when I went out into the gas giant I had been too busy to notice the decision that had been made to enter it, when I blew myself out the airlock it was because of poor safety precautions on the ship's side. Those were the only four times I've killed myself, other than that I've only injured myself, the worst injury was when I touched the back of my eye in the simulator freak-out. Then there's you, implanting faulty data into the AI, creating a SUE bomb, overloading and destroying the simulator with SUE bombs, implanting SUE into a holo-bot... and I'm sure you've done worse things too, the only difference between us is the fact that for some reason people don't care too much when you break stuff and that you don't make things that can even be considdered useful.

Nex, you have mutinied and killed other people on several occations, the worst thing I've done is to plan in case I would have to get rid of a corrupted captain and kill myself, you can trust that I would do my best to keep the ship and any innocent crewmembers safe. The shipyard would be perfect, it could also house storage areas for the crafts inside the asteroid themselves, without lifesupport to prevent tampering and unauthorized interfacing.

Faust, I will release a full review of every variation of the craft that goes into production, however you will not recieve reviews of each specific craft as some people might want to keep their personal touches a little more... personal... if they are produced in numbers. I request that we eventually begin building either a new ship or a station for medical, engineering and scientific pourposes and that we equip said ship/station with production capabillities.

Yeah, but the more that help the faster it goes, as engineers you should be proficient in scripting and designing just as well as me, if not even better. And if you can think of any ideas list them here, we should make a list before the next session. Now it just needs a name, it must be short, either an acronym or something that's pure awesome some other way. I'll let you choose because one because if I did it then it'd just be another Stargate/Iron Man reference. Also imagine the usefullness in ship-to-ship combat; enemy engages, we transprt into the crafts and engage, we blast a hole in their hull using missiles, taking out one room/hallway of enemies, then we drop in, through the hole. The AI then takes over the crafts and takes out fighters and subsystems while we fight our way through the enemies, if we meet a force too strong we make the crafts breach the hull nearby and vent the enemies into space. That way we could hijack enemy vessels with minimal damage and losses.

I just got an awesome idea, instead of a jetpack I could create a sort of autonomous air-/spacecraft that resembles a UAV, except it has a small compartement accessable from the inside which can house a single MarkII suit, it can be used either to transport a suit or to carry a manned suit, with the wearer controling the craft through the suit's systems with all the craft's stats replacing the suit's on the HUD and the craft's view in the background. Each craft would be assigned to it's suit and (when possible) share the AI with it to allow for quick retrieval after a mission is completed, certain crafts could also be weaponized alowing the person in the suit to assign targets and deploy aerial support within seconds. One possibillity for fast deployment would also be to asign a height/velocity/gravity factor to allow for a person to be dropped directly into combat, from the air without harm, with good enough armour that could even be configured to allow a person to be dropped through a roof or wall or as a dummy-bomb onto opponents. Other such crafts could be fitted with extra large fuel tanks, alowing a suit to restock on fuel while being transported from one target to another. Also similiar crafts could be made for mining, carrying replacement drills and hyperspatial storage containers for minerals, and maybe even penetrating shock bombs and mining lasers to speed up mining. The possibilities are endless... anyone care to help me with this project?

I collapsed because they drained the power, my armour is carbon-nanofibre with internal isolation through aerofoam together with lvl 10 shielding (I just wish Jen gave me the lvl 20 before quitting). We are not sure how many shots I survived because the sim ended when it ran out of power. Please do not ask about that sim again, all the information I was provided has been given here. Feel free to use my suit in future sims though. Next session I'll add the sonars to the feet, after that I'll be happy to hear any sugguestions for eguipment that is best used at the legs and hip (too much weight on torso reduces stabillity).

Ehm, I use an anti-proton beam as well as two hellbores, that's where the six hours of power went. And since then I multiplied the amount of fuel the suit can have by exactly 600, that is equivalent to being able to kill 1800 moderatly armed people if only 20 can fire at me at the same time.

Isn't that kind of like walking 20 feet away and talking to somebody through a phone, even though they are literally 20 feet away? More like wispering, while PMing could be compared to texting them. But still, we're talking about Hex, wouldn't be suprised if he went through the "struggle" of finding me on facebook just to say hi when we were both on IRC.

I thought so at firstm but I decided not to care, then Earth asked for confirmation and it was given directly without hesitation. The speed increase could actually be seen as possible seeing how good software could be used to manipulate the pneumatics to perfect the rythm of running. Also it did decrease my stability so it isn't perfect by far.

Now, Hex, watch your mouth. You did create one idea, our brawling games, now calm down and realize that you're acting like a psychotic narcotic who just realized he's all out of drugs.

Ross, after adding the software to the MarkII the stats changed to: Speed 100m in 0.96sec, moderate stability, low mobility. In a sim against 20 moderatly armed men it took out three men before losing power (fuel has been increased from 6 hour suply to 5 month suply (using multi-dimentional fuel tank) since then). It has a 64% hit rate. I'm currently working on a sonar to increase mobility (since mobility = reaction) and it will have an AI comunicating with me so that'll probably increase a bit of it too. Happy? This session's research: Hyperspatial tank lvl 1, Sonars lvl 1. Programing: Software lvl 1.
