  1. You got the variation of vegetation just right. great job. also, i love the misty atmo in the top left. great job as always. btw...that pic that drum ripped, i went to that guys dev art page. he had combined a terragen and a photoshop space scene. i believe it was called 'Ashley's First Alignment'......i think you should try something like this if you ahvent already. i relaly love how it turned out for him. and maybe incorporate some of the trees into it like this.
  2. is it ripped? if it is......well.....bleh..... if not, incredible job, and i love the sound effects. that will be very good if you do a full vid. :D
  3. OFF TOPIC: WOOO for J_Rod.........1000+ posts!!! ON TOPIC: good render, i like the name....kidna weird, and i have no idea what it means, but thats ok i guess. i like though. good job

exactly what i was doing too :? LOL nad, you're evil  ---i guess since it IS a copyrighted image....2/10...... ---SINCE i am misreably bad at grunges and stuff like this, ill give you a 7/10 for content. but dont think this means go and take more copyrighted images....
  5. Well, if not pixel sigs......then why not help? Great idea, and you seem to be helping a lot of people. Okay, here's the dealio. I had started this as a sig for Princess. She had requested a background with lots of animals and wildlife such as bunnies, birds, elephants (? ) etc. I started making some, but it looked terrible. Here is the character, which you can also give me help on. This is my first try at dithering. I think I might have wandered off a bit from the light source, which i figured would either be the sun, or an overhead lamp. But please, if you could, just give me a few pointers on dithering, the character pose/linework, and the background.
  6. My chips are on Nad. Sorry drum. But you just arent keepin' the beat.....
  7. oo i like that. very good idea. because you could steal them easily enough, and they would be easier to get, but thenyou have to deal with the fire red fire breathing dragonators TROGDOR!!!111!!1!ONE I like you're thinking though

I think that the left calf (his right) is a bit of a steep angle as you move up the leg. Maybe not, it's kind of hard to judge the angle without some tiny facial feature. And if it is a side or back view of the torso, you might make some short lines to show his shoulder blades, but i don't know how detailed you want to get, and what the girth and body structure of the person you are creating is supposed to be. Besides that, great job on the pose, and the whip hand is perfect. The forearm, too, is very well done. Good job for freehand.
  9. yea i noticed that too a bit. i could change it, but im too lazy. and tired. and my head hurts.
  10. thats the ONLY problem with dragon smithing (oh wait, HOW you would smith them is a problem too :x ).... unfortunately, it is a HUGE one. it would CRUSH the economy. yes, phats would still support it, but chains are still selling for at LEAST 13mil (?) last time i checked....i really dont know. i dont play much anymore, i jsut hang around on the boards here.
  11. yea the hammer would probably be a whole lot bigger and a whole lot...mean looking. now it's only semi-mean. pity....
  12. Alright. Well I set out to create one of these dealioes to kind of go along with my smithing process. *The darts are going to be fletched from either dragon bones or something of the like. *The 2 Hander...well to be honest I couldn't think of anything to do with it. Also for the 'Sword'. So these are either just going to be drops (about as often as you get a rune chain mail drop) or smithable. They weren't "cool" enough to get a makeover. Most of the items are pretty lame. Well in my opinion at least. My brain really hurts, and cut me some slack, because that took some imagination. At least for a few of them. Kinda. Only one that I really like is the Kite. Even though....it's not really a kite at all. The full helm I basically jsut agve up on, so gave it a crappy neckline thing like on a lizard'dragon thing, and a mohawk of [bleep]es. The Claws are pretty cool. I like those. The hatchet is lame. I mean come on....it's a hatchet. :? Well, here goes....
  13. A bit overexposed. A little blurry, but expected with a digital camera. I like how on the right side of it it is darker, and on the left it gets lighter. Those flowers are cool, and I like the little brown speckles on them. The tiny cacti are very cool, too. When I saw this, I immediately thought of one of Nadril's Terragen Renders. Cool shot, and the rays that the sun is making are very cool. It seems like you arent really focusing on a specific flower. It's hard to get a good silhouette with a digital camera though, I know. The cliff/rock formation on the right is good, and I like how it gently slopes down. Good try on this one. If you got it on film, it should turn out great. Perfect. The contrast of the yellow flowers on the clear blue sky is awesome. There is almost a gradient to the sky too. The hill on the right is also great, because seeing the barren hills, and then the perfect flowers, really gives a mood...well I don't know how to put it. Man, what lush vegetation there. Perfect green. I like how you took it at such an angle that the waterfall was somewhat hidden. Good job on this one. I really like this one. The picture is great in itself, but i really like how you took the picture to include the over-hanging trees. Only suggestion is that you maybe crop off some of the bottom. It seems like there is a lot of water there. But not too much. -- Great pics you got there. It's awesome that you were able to get out there for that 'special event.' I had heard about it, but didn't realize how MUCH it had grown. Great job.
  14. farfetched i know...but wouldnt you agree that 'mining dragon' is a little weird. but you're entitled to your own opinion. so i not trying to argue with you. im just rying to be original  :) and thanks for comments guys. btw. i live in indiana, so sorry, no jagex staff person here.
  15. i was actually thinking that you could keep the egg, but it would be a chance of like 1 in a million that it would hatch a dragon. and you wouldnt know till after a month or more. :)
  16. i couldnt tell you what the site was, cuz i cant remember, but if you go to google and search "Runescape Font" there is ONE...i repeat only ONE website to get it at. it's an RS fan site, and this guy took th cropped letters and put them into a font making program and created the RS font so that it is typable. i've got it and it is great for fakes.
  17. anxious to see what you come up with demented :)
  18. thats unusual...usually it's the other way around. unless im like...mentally deficient or something. (dont like to say [developmentally delayed]ed....might offencd someone). but i love the guys shirt. couldnt tel ya why, i just do. cool sigglio. PUT A BACKGROUND YOU LAZY BUM! ha, nah you dont have to, simplicity is bliss.
  19. well these arent items...but items that you would use to CREATE dragon items. i have another post about it, but i didnt know if you had seen it or not.
  20. thanks whatcha...i just sent it to them. i jsut want them to look at it and see what they think about my fake-a-bility. or if theyll consider my idea. that would be pretty cool.
  21. 10/10 for my imagination or the pic :) someone on RuneVillage erquested that i make a dragon smithing table. i think that'll be my new 'fake something' post. that will take a whle to do though, because each dragon item already in 'circulation' is unique. for example the dragon long versus the rune long, or the dragon med. versus the rune med. will take a SERIOUS imagination. but think how sweet it would be if they used some of my ideas for the game. unfortunately, i dont think any jagex mods or admins are at Tip It or RuneVillage. ...unless i could send it to them? but they probably dont accept pictures. :( i bet if i showed them this idea htough, they might give it some serious consideration if they have the same feelings that i do towards 'mining ddragon'. if anyone knows how i can contact them to send it to them, tell me tell me please. :)
  22. what madona? i dont understand what you're saying there.
  23. do you have any idea how RARE and freaking expensive a dragon plate would be? anywho, i think like zimplim said, there would be some 'smith only' items, that could only be obtained by smithing them. i was originally going to have the eggs theive-able....and have it lvl 80 theiving or something to get them from the nest, but there are SOO many people with 80 theiving, so the only thing they would need would be 99+ smithing....which yes...it is difficult, but think how many people would already be able to make dragon. it's a rare armor....so i wanted to make how you got the 'ores' even though thats not what they are, very difficult to get. so essentially, yes it would be pointless when you can just get them from drops, but there would be certain items that weren't drops. but good thinking people, you're bringing up some very good points. but the idea of having the armor and bars be made out of a dragon egg? farfetched or do you think it's a 'good' idea. if you know what i mean. :?
  24. hmm good point, never thought of it that way. and coal would probably be used to stoke the fire or seomthing i dunno.
  25. Well I wanted to be original with this. It seems odd to me that you would obtain a 'Dragon Ore'. What would you mine? It's called Dragon Armor, because it comes from...... A Dragon!!! Imagine that. Not from a rock. So, i thought about it, and came up with this process. Since it is the strongest, i thought that it should be created using an ancient process that is known by only a few people. Well, hope you like. EDIT: there has been some debate about why you would bother smithing the bars, if an egg is rarer than chain, legs, etc. i was originally going to make them theive-able, but if you can theive them, then their value goes down...for such a rare metal. think how rare rune ores are. they go for 13k a pop. if eggs were theiveable...well...the economy would crumble, or they would be worth a measly amount of money...thus making the price of the smithed dragon items much less. unless of course, the 'nest' that they would be theived from only reloaded once everyday....THEN it might be worth a bit more. Zimlim also brought up the idea about having some items only obtainable by smithing them. in other words, the dragon plate would not be a drop, but instead you could only obtain it by smithing it. therefore, it would be a godly piece of armor, and you would be admired by all if you were prancing around in full dragon with plate. so ifyou have any input on this, feel free to say so. this is a great debate and question though, because mining for dragon, in my humble opinion, makes absolutely zero sense.
