Yes you need the range level needed to wield a maple shortbow to successfully complete that step of the clue. Team cape is a wildy cape.

Oh it only affects monsters that are larger than one square e.g. fire giants, dragons, jad? Normal, one-square monsters still can't move diagonally over obstacles?

Normally there's always empty spaces when they tell you to dig somewhere, so you can't really halberd them. I seriously advise you not to do lvl 3 clues, it would be difficult because you'd probably have no prayer protection against the wizard's attack...

Yes you can, I used exactly 7 prayer points (using protect from melee) and about 6-7 hits to kill it, it was extremely easy to defeat. You should mage or range it and remember your anti poison. :)

Yes, but I've sent messages to several RS mods, and they say that the rewards have a larger chance of being rune items (not god or 3rd age or whatever) when finishing a clue scroll dropped by a lower levelled monster, such as cyclops or ankous. But if someone could post what they got from an ankou clue, it might aid me in whether I should spend a few hrs on the clue and buying Uri's stupid random items.

I got a clue scroll drop from an ankou and am considering just dropping it. I've contacted RS mods and they say that the lower lvl your monster (the ankou was lvl 75), the lower wealth of the clue. Should I just drop it (it'll probably take 2 hrs for me to finish with me being slow), or should I just do it? If anyone can post their rewards from ankou clue scrolls, that would be helpful, thanks. Also, would anyone know if a ring of wealth would increase the rune drop rate from ankous?

Yeah it is, but it would be pretty overpowered if it had that option. Same goes for the whip =(

I'm looking at mine now, the first 3 are shared XP (controlled) and hte last option is Defensive. So you can only train strength in controlled with attack and defence.

I'm afraid not. If you're PCing you could try to lwoer your HP by killing splatters and letting them do damage when they die (usually 15-20). However, this method is unreliable. The most reliable method is indeed the rock cake from RFD, but if you've finished that sub quest, you can't get it back.

And to clarify that, you'll need the Karamja Gloves 1 that are a reward from Jackie The Fruit in the entrance to the Agility Arena in Brimhaven for completing the Karamja Diary's easy level tasks. :P :thumbsup:
