Is it possible (when using a fire, air etc. staff) to autocast a modern magic spell such as fire blast while I am on a Lunar or Ancients Spellbook? Will I still be able to mage with fire blast and use other spells such as NPC Contact? I want to see if it's possible to get slayer exp on metal dragons while I fire blast there for 99 magic (after my 100,000 alchs I have to do while I'm f2p :ohnoes: ).

OK, I've got three choices to get to 69 so I can hunt dashing kebbits for their prettiful hides for the prettiful spottier cape =P~ . My hunter is currently on lvl 40, but I will log back in soon and get to 43 very quickly then I'll be moving to the falconry area. It would be appreciated if you could post which method would be more efficient based on your personal experiences. Here are the choices: 1. Red Chins from 63 to 69 (using falconry to get to 63) 2. Red Salamander from 59 to 69 (using falconry to get to 59) 3. Falconry from 43 to 69 (using falconry all the way :XD: ) Cheers!

Well, thanks for the replies, I will probably hunt swamp lizards until I am level 43, which I then will use a falcon :). But, does this mean at lvl 43, I will get less exp per hour than at 57 and 69 because I can only hunt spotted kebbits and not dark or dashing kebbits? Also, should I wear any special hunting equipment when doing falconry to increase my chance is a catch, such as Lapuria with chins?

I just paid 100k to make a new portal chamber in my house when I already had one. All I wanted to do was to move the portal chamber next to my exit portal for faster access but now my fally, cammy and ardy portals in my old portal chamber are still about 4 rooms away from the exit portal, with my new portal chamber room empty, right in front of the exit portal. So my question is whether I could move my old teleport portals to my new empty one without paying the fee of the teleport runes or spending another goddang 100k -.-?

What's the best way to get to 63 hunter (which then I will obviously hunt red chins) from 27? I will have already done the Eagle's Peak's quest, so I can catch ferrets.. In most of the (Tip.It) Hunter guides, the authors all suggest ferrets at level 27, swamp lizards at lvl 29, falconry (kebbits) at level 43, orange salamanders at level 47 and then red salamanders at lvl 59. Should I follow this order, or are there certain creatures that I should skip?

While reading quest guides for the Dream Mentor quest, I remember seeing somewhere that after completion of Dream Mentor, you do not need a Seal of Passage to talk to anymore Lunar residents without getting kicked out of the Isle. However, after I finished the quest, I always get booted off the island without the Seal. I have tried talking to the orinemancer (or whatever - the woman beside the Astral Temple) with and without the Seal to no avail. So is talking with Lunar people without a Seal of Passage actually a reward for Dream Mentor or has a quest guide been mistaken?

I hear that, if you don't mind losing a few arrows or knives, power-ranging at the ogres at King Lathas' Combat Camp is really fast, albeit a waste of money. I don't think PC holds the title of fastest exp anymore, I get a max of about 50k an hour including exp from pest points and exp points inside the game.

Oh great, thanks for the info. Hunter sounds a bit boring, just waiting for the fauna to walk into traps (the majority of them). Would I have enough time to high alch some bows or will that time be taken by repeatedly setting up, collecting and fixing traps (when I get to ferrets or chins or something)? Oh and how is hunter exp allocated - Set a trap, trap an animal then collect the animal? Or is exp only gained when collecting the animals from the traps? And for salamanders, is bait such as guam tar, marrentill tar etc ESSENTIAL in order to capture sallies, or is it just recommended? Same with others like ferrets or kebbits

How long would an average Runescaper take to achieve 66 Hunter from level 1 Hunter (to access and wear the spottier cape)? I will be following the Player Made Hunter Guides in the Skills, Mini-games and Quests sub-forum, and they say that to get to there it would take about 3 days? Also how much money would I have lost from power leveling hunter? And I don't quite udnerstand the concept of hunter - I just set up traps and wait for the prey to come inside? Does this mean I can do other stuff while hunting such as High Alching? Any help would be appreciated as I have until the end of August to achieve this goal before my membership runs out :XD: .

The king is not to worry, he's easy to handle, but the ice trolls before him and on the islands - boy they scare me. I was up to the part where I was supposed to fix the bridge, realised I had to cross the bridge and go to the other side to fix a certain side. A couple of trolls ran up to me, hit me, no problem I turned on Protect from Melee, then the troll females that throw rocks came and hit me for like 8s (I didn't have yak-hide armour or the special frem shield yet). I ran around, panicked, luckily I was wearing a ring of life, teleported at 3 hp. Wouldn't have had lost a lot of stuff (maybe a glory and a couple of quest items), but it was still scary. For the king, use melee, dds specs ruin him, he's pretty easy.

Or you could test it out yourself. There are about 4 decent-sounding methods of raising your magic level, and if testing all of them you can be assured what the exp per hour is for your mage level as a LOT of factors skewer the results e.g. magic level and magic equipment for fire bolting steel drags. When testing methods, usually I just perform a certain method for half an hour then multiply it by two to get the exp/hour. In essence, it will only take you 2 hours to determine the best method for YOU (as different methods suit different people). Good luck with your quest.

you havent been able to do that for a while. when youre in there, the magic tab dissapears. Yes he's right. I've been to every random event place and the magic and inventory tab are all blocked out. Well if no f2p place is random event free, I guess I'll just alch in a marketplace :S. I think that when you get Freaky Forester, your magic tab is still there. I remember that I tried to home-tele out of there(for fun, not trying to get out.) THANK YOU! You are correct, the magic tab is still able to be clicked while inside the Freaky Forester Mini-game. It's a shame I had no nats with me so I couldn't test whether High alchemy works. :S If anyone can try High alching in this random and tell me if it works, that'd be cool. :)

You gotta re-do the haunted mine quest except you dont have to kill Treus Dayth again. You need the crystal Mine key too. Remember to cut more crystal shards next time you're there (cut one, drop it, cut another then pick up the dropped shard)

I'm high alching to 99 mage and I've found the best f2p/p2p item to alch with minimal loss (a loss of 66 gp per alch). Those who want to know what item need just to read my forum posts. =)

Not a waste for people who want to get slayer lvls up FAST. I hear it earns 20K slayer exp an hour, just using your cannon. Unlike your combat skills, cannon damage in slayer gives the FULL exp that you would usually get by killing a slayer-assigned monster.

Just use desktop links like I do :)
