  1. I'd say crystal bow would be more effective in ranged training over its ammo-required counterparts, as the time it takes to pick up your arrows/bolts, (as well as the stray one or two ammo some money-saving people like to pick up) adds up and is taken away from time that could otherwise be spent dealing damage and obtaining exp. However, this is somewhat negated with the degradation of the crystal bow (lacking much power when it is in its dying stages) and the time taken to recharge the seed after it is all used up. imo, for training: MSB=Crystal Bow>Rune cbow>dark bow. I like speed over power, tbh. :P
  2. Are you sure? I thought if someone is in your ignore list, they cannot see you online on their friend's list?

Interesting thread, jesus ma (forgot what and where the numbers are supposed to be :o ) poses the same question I would like to have answered as well. Count this as a free bump. P.S. When you get your fletching cape and turn f2p, I suggest cooking to 99. Only firemake if you have maples accumulated in your bank from the Manage Thy Kingdom minigame. Less loss is sustained when selling cooked lobs and buying raw lobs rather than burning maples (not sure about willows though).
  4. Like you said, if you have no money AT ALL to fund any kind of money-making skill, you have to start from scratch. This usually means collecting raw materials and then either selling them or altering their form into something else to sell. Examples: Pick flax -> String to bowstrings -> Sell Mine Iron Ore -> Smelt while wearing rings of forging from the rubies you get from mining -> Smith the iron bars into Iron throwing knives -> Sell Collect items (e.g. red spider eggs from edgeville dungeon, snape grass from Hobgoblin peninsula, etc.) -> Sell Alternatively, you could benefit from services provided by the government, erm... I mean from other Runescapers. Examples: Mine 25 ess (very simple) -> Run airs at world 16 -> get paid 2k + 25 ess back each run. Mine 25 pure ess (very simple) -> Run laws at world 66 -> get paid 27 laws + 25 ess back each run -> sell laws Mine 25 pure ess (very simple) -> Run nats for certain nat crafters-> get paid nats + ess back each run -> sell nats Hope you rustle up some cash. :)
  5. Nicely done! Good luck with 1800 total level! May I ask how to get to the location you were in when you achieved 70 herblore?
  6. cmb lvl: 101 total lvl: 1517 currently. total cash currently: 21m in cash, 70m in items. most cash ever: estimation of 210m, based on prices of items at that time. Off-topic: Never realised I was siggied by the person who posted above me. :-s
  7. Well done sir, my hat goes off to you =D> . Although I am a non-member, this guide will certainly help me when I turn members. That little tip of putting your weapon to defence for abyss rcing - THANK YOU - I didn't know this, and I'll be sure to do this when I am abyss rcing. AOW pl0x?

Why can't we wield 2 handers with shields like Vannaka then? Don't sweat it, dragon plates will come eventually.
  9. Congratulations! A small question: how much firemaking exp per hour did you receive and with what logs did you acheive this with? Approximately. :)
  10. I remember, you had 98 strength for ages (like two weeks before this). Congratulations on mastering a non-PC'ed F2P strength skill. :)
  11. Are you sure double nat crafting using the abyss yields +796K per hour? MULTIPLE other sources claim they earn 1 million gp per hour factoring in costs such as pure ess and super energy potions... :-k Good info on Ourania otherwise, although it doesn't matter to me (f2p :().
  12. This is bad for me. Many people will use the ZMI altar to race to 91 runecrafting. Double Nats as a moneymaker would be possibly made obsolete - too many nats being sold, not enough being bought..
  13. Or guy :XD: It's just an expression that african americans tend to say. :)
  14. Damn, gurl?!? Congratulations!
  15. Alas, I would if I could. I'm currently a poor non-member, getting up his magic by high alchemy. However, when I turn member, I'll be fire bolting steel dragons to 99 magic (from 95). I hear fire bolts at steel drags earn 30k to 40k magic experience per hour (on top of hp and prayer), yet this is a rather slow way to go to 99. As an alternative, I'm interested in something like one metal drags trip, then 1 hour at MTA, repeat, etc, to keep me on my toes and make my trip to 99 magic slightly faster. Any definite comment on how much exp one could earn per hour enchanting with the onyx spell at MTA would be appreciated so I could factor in the time needed for my magic cape. :
  16. Hi, a quick question for you folks. I am just wondering how much average exp per hour I could receive power-enchanting using Onyx Enchant at the Mage Training Arena? Thanks :) .
  17. I'll tell you a method that lets you earn a consistent, guaranteed 60k-90k an hour, with no skills required. Air run at World 16! :) All you have to do is bring 25 unnoted ess to the air altar south of falador. GO inside the mysterious ruins and trade a crafter that offers X amount of money + ess back. S/he will trade you X amount of money (usually 2k) and 25 noted essence for your 25 unnoted essence. Simply run back to falador east bank, deposit the noted ess, withdraw the ess so it becomes unnoted and run back to the air altar. Repeat and rinse. :) PS. I offer 2100gp and 25 ess, so run for me (PM me ingame). :D
  18. I don't recommend fire bolting metal drags. At your magic level, your fire bolts will splash on the dragons a lot. I would suggest just buying body runes at 10gp each, buy any mud staff for 1.7m (you can re-sell this later so you're basically only spending money on the body runes), and using the highest weakening spell you can on the zamorak mage in Varrock's castle underneath a staircase. Cheap, yet boring exp. If you don't have enough money for the mud staff, just law run or spin bowstrings or something - 1.7m isn't too much to get. :)
  19. Quoted for truth. Magic has very versatile uses outside of combat, most of all teleporting, high alching, etc, however weak magic armour with little defence bonuses, amalgamated with the high cost per rune for higher level spells and the fact that you can't "re-use" spells/runes means that magic is rather belittled while in combat, although it is very useful for back-up (teleblock, entangle) to rangers and meleers (for the wilderness).
  20. Can this be? A pretty '99' sitting next to the Runecrafting symbol? I'm envious. 10/10
  21. True, he isn't directly lying, but he is deceiving. He is selling a faulty product with full knowledge of its quality.
  22. 91 runecrafting for the m00neys! 95 magic (and then 99 mage in members) for the c4pe!
  23. Everywhere I go to alch in, there's always one male who goes up to a female player, and says: "I has a dimound ring pls mary me"?. The female takes the ring and runs. :|
