I've tested it, at 79 ranged, I get 38k ranged exp per hour and an approximate 500k in money per hour (after deducting the costs of prayer pots, bolts used, etc). My setup was: ------------------Void Knight Ranged Helm------------ Ava's Accumulator----Holy Symbol------ Emerald Bolts (e) Rune Crossbow ----- Void Knight Top ----- Unholy Book ----------------------Void Knight Bottom ------------------ Void Knight Gloves ----- Ranger Boots ----- Ring of Wealth Void Knight set allows more exp per hour over black dragonhide (it's been proven). I'd say (tentatively) that this is the best possible set to bring to Aviansie (perhaps replace the ring of wealth with an archer ring and the holy symbol for another saradomin item). Thanks for the info Jordan, I ranged them a few times before you made this thread, however now there's a lot of people camping there, so I'm moving back to runecrafting. :) Hope my info helps for future aviansie slayers! :) (tbh, I think Jagex will nerf the drop rate soon :( )

Void Ranged set is MUCH better against low to medium-high levelled monsters. I myself am a proud owner of the void set, and I can guarantee that it is amazing for training ranged on general monsters like fire giants, greater demons, blue dragons, aviansies et cetera et cetera with commonly used ranged equipment like rune crossbow, crystal bow (knives aren't as effective with void knight since there is not such a large change in max hit). Hang on a sec, I'll post results.

Godswords for those above 80 attack. Otherwise you hit too many 0s. Dragon scimitar for those under 80 attack. It's been proven and tested by people who own godswords.

Ring of Wealth doesn't affect barrows loot, but if you think it's a lucky charm, then kudos to you. :P I've killed 100 fire giants with the ring of wealth on, but I don't think it'll be much help anyway, since the sample size is pretty small. I seem to get an abnormally higher rate of coin drops though. :(

If i remember correctly that was released with the g maul glitch a few months back.. Well I used the G maul last weekend to try to 1 hit noobs in duel arena and I didn't get message. No, I received the same message with a granite maul about two months ago. Not a new update unfortunately.

At a medium ranged level (80ish), you get about 300k-400k per hour (after deducting the cost of prayer pots used - which is quite a lot). (yes I've tested money per hour - my equipment was blk dhide, ranger set, zammy book, mith cbow + emerald bolts (e) - i got 400k per hour worth of items now it's less because of price drop.)

The level 83 Aviansie in the God's Wars Dungeon drop clue scrolls. It is not listed in the Tip.It Bestiary drop list yet. I'm also fairly sure that ALL Aviantsie monsters drop clue scrolls, not just the level 71s (according to the Bestiary). I'll slay more and try to find out/confirm if anymore drop clues.

A monster recently dropped an item to me that was not listed as a drop for this particular monster in the Tip.It bestiary. Where should I send this drop (with proof) so that the item researchers or whatever can add it to the drop list? Should I jsut PM item researchers? Thanks

You won't know what i'm talking about because you've probably never been there... But if you know what you're doing you can have the other npcs there kill other aviansies that you'll get the drop from whilst you're killing another so you actually get alot more kills. Ah I see, so every monster that dies there (if killed by another NPC monster from an opposing faction) drops an item which ANY playing character can loot? Neat, I wish the generals could kill each other and drop their hilts/armour. :XD:

Could I efficiently kill them with only 1 god item (unholy book)? I want to bring max ranged gear. Would the saradomin or bandos monsters interfere with my aviansie slaying if I don't wear an item of their gods, or are there spots where there are no other monsters but aviansie? 800k profit in 1 hour 10 minutes? That transcends beyond the profit gained from lvl 75-91 nat abyss runecrafting. :shock: Did you factor in the cost of the prayer pots when calculating your profit? What was your method in killing them? Just protect from ranged and range them? And which god items did you wear when killing them? Gosh, that's good profit/exp. :o EDIT: Now that I think of it, it seems quite impossible.. You can kill 300 aviansie in 70 minutes - that's a rate of more than 4 per minute.

You can buy slayer, or at least buy enough exp so you can get a max of 60k slayer exp per hour. (Cannon + cannonballs with tasks like dagganoths, kalphites, fire giants, etc). I respect all 99 capes. It's just that there are some capes that I respect more, simple as that.

Oh, my question was supposed to ask the best exp PER HOUR, not the best exp PER BOW. If that wasn't what you meant, i'm sorry.

I remember vaguely reading somewhere (I think it was in tipit forums) that there is a very little speed difference between the rapid and accurate styles of the crystal bow, and the author suggested accurate was more effective in training..

Is it best to train on monsters with the Accurate or Rapid style on the crystal bow? I heard somewhere that accurate is better for maximum ranged exp per hour gained, but the general concensus believe rapid on ALL types of ranged weapons is much more beneficial for xp. Thanks in advance.
