  1. World 66 Laws? The Ourania Altar beats world 66 laws in experience, money and enjoyability. Why people are still doing world 66 laws, I have no idea... (unless they don't wanna pay too much attention to runescape..) Grats on 225k ess. I've got 200k ess banked for 91 and beyond. :
  2. Runecrafting's an easy 99. Nah, jokes, but congratulations on 126 combat and the 2 99s!! Good luck with future endeavours. :)
  3. Since in the pic he's wearing proselyte, one can assume that he is praying melee and just whippin' it like how real men do it. 8-) But he's being a cheater anywayto get that 10 kill kbd trip, he probably lowered each one of the kbd's defence using his uber black mask of doom. Either that, or he's on a slayer task. :-k Nice work, and good luck next time on your kbd trips. If this good luck helps you, you're sharing the visage with me and split 1 and a half heads each? O:)
  4. Yay! Quote coincidental circumstances too: I'm runecrafting using the Ourania (ZMI) Altar to get 91 RC (you can see my mud staff in the picture), and by chance (1 out of 12 tbh), I got 84 RC while on my abyss repair pouch run, crafting natures. Symbolise something? :XD: I'm posting my 84 RC pic here so I can refer back to this in the future when I get and post my 91 RC and reflect on how much time Runecrafting has taken out of my life. And yes, I do like planning ahead.
  5. Thanks, I didn't know one book can enchant more than one amulet! Thanks a lot, please close.
  6. Hello, I'm currently in the little room in Tarn's Lair where the Diary spawns (the diary that enchants your salve amulet). Is it possible to get 2 of these books and enchant 2 salve amulets or can I only enchant one? Need the answer quickly please, I'm still inside the diary room. :s
  7. According to a wiki Runescape page, should you poison a slayer monster that you have been assigned and the poison deals the last damage to it and kills it, you will not get the slayer exp for killing the monster, since it died from poison: LINK (it's safe): http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Slayer Could anybody confirm whether this is true, since sometimes the information in wikis aren't all that truthful... Thank you!
  8. What methods do you recommend I should use to kill the DT bosses? My stats are decent at: 94 magic, 83 HP, 84 attack, 88 strength, 75 defence, 70 prayer. I'm more worried about Damis, so if anyone could post what they used and how they killed each DT boss, that would be great.
  9. Wow, congratulations o.O. Makes my rc level I just got look so nub (82 is the level for double astrals runecrafting btw). :(
  10. ... Or we could wait 1-2 more days and then discuss the Behind the Scenes update when it is released.
  11. Not tobaggining (sp?), since people like me take for granted that Christmas occurs in Summer (Australian here), and not Winter. I don't want any more headgear, we have enough of that already. I'd like some item that you can't wear, but does something when you operate it.
  12. Trust me, the merchanters will be plenty when GE comes out. They are a persistent bunch of people (they should be after standing on the same spot typing for hours on end).
  13. You're overlooking into this. I don't think the GE will have a massive effect on prices. It will basically just operate on supply and demand. If the prices are too high, nobody will buy, so this forces the sellers to lower their selling price. If the prices are too low, the new merchanters will quickly buy them up and re-sell for a higher price. This is a nice equilibrium that works well ineconomies in real life, so you need not worry about prices too much.
  14. So this guy is buying ranarrs for 8k each. That's a very good price, so I tell him to add me. He says just come to World 2 Canifis. That's an unorthodox world especially for herblore (he said he's aiming for 99 herblore -> 1-click banks such as Lumby or Cwars would be better), but I still hop worlds and get to him as quickly as possible. I find out he's not there, I post that there to tell everyone not to waste their time, he reports me for "hijacking his thread". I continue telling everyone he's not trading and it's a fake buy to jack up the prices. Everyone just kept going "add me I sell ......." etc. Then I realised this was RSOF, so meh, good luck to them... + a forum mod hid my messages shortly afterwards. I didn't even insult him or anyone (except "rsof is going to the dogs" actually).
  15. Don't gorilla monkeys constantly heal themselves when they get to low health meaning I can never get its bones?
  16. How do I get the ninja, zombie and gorilla bones for the RFD quest? I have no idea whatsoever (only got the normal monkey greegree). Thanks!
  17. Hmm Jagex gives the skills boost but not the percentage boosted: Zamorak potion 78 Torstol Jangerberries 175 2-13 Strength boost 2-21 Attack boost 2-11 Defence loss 2-11 Hitpoints loss Super Strength potion 55 Kwuarm Limpwurt root 125 5-19 Strength boost Super Attack potion 45 Irit Eye of newt 100 5-19 Attack boost nvm, I think I'll just answer myself by working out the percantages. >.> Close please.
  18. What are the effects of drinking a dose of Zamorak Brew? Tip.it and zybez says that it boosts attack and strength and prayer, and decreases defence and hitpoints, yet runehq says that it boosts attack and strength, and decreases defence and hitpoints, while other sites insist they boost more attack than a super attack potion, about the same as a strength potion, and decreases defence and hitpoints. The only thing I am certain that this brew does is decrease defence and hitpoints, however I am not sure which skills it boosts and how much it is boosted by. So if you have tasted this brew and seen its effects, could you please post here and tell me what stats it boosts and how much it boosts it by, to put an end to these conflicting reports.
  19. In my opinion, I forsee Runescape dying off or being supported by a much smaller (like only about 100,000 players or so) die-hard fanbase in the coming years. Jagex is clearly aiming RS at the younger generations (miniclip, fantasy setting, etc) and while the general Runescape populace (who live primarily in western countries, such as USA, Britain, Australia) are ageing (a demoographic statistic), less and less people aged about 15 or under (the largest age group which plays RS) will be playing this game, and as technology advances, the graphics of Runescape will be severely outdated and the 7-13 year olds will switch instead to more graphically-intense online games. So, I see a severe downturn in the numbers of players in RS, should Jagex keep pumping out controversial updates such as the complete nerf of staking. However, most likely, I'm completely wrong, and I hope that RS will stay popular forever. :)
  20. I agree that adding more rankings under the minigame heading would be sage and interesting, as it seems quite unrational that there is only one sub-heading under the mini-games section currently.
  21. Yes, I acknowledge that the prices won't dramatically change (seeing as they already shift by 10s of coins every few months), but I'm interested in what skill or method that previous stakers will use to earn money now and the effects this will have on current skillers (e.g. filled red chin spots on every world, etc.)
  22. Being a non-staker, I am interested in the effects and changes of prices and skills that staking will cause, being one of the fastest money-makers provided you have an excellent staking account. I see that the users of staking accounts will either quit or go back to play on their main accounts. Since staking, a major money-earner for this demographic group, is completely invalidated, I suspect that the influx of runescape players returning to their main accounts will re-work their money-making skills, so that they are able to accumulate wealth. This means that prominent money-making skills, especially Runecrafting, will be worked on more, increasing the prices of pure essence, and decreasing the price of nature runes (which is now selling for 280-290 each, previously 300 ea). With Jagex's grand stroke of destroying the staking money factor, I expect to see a lot more runecrafters in the coming future. Discuss your views on the possible economic or skill change caused by the removal of huge money staking, if any. (By the way, as a side topic I just bought 200k pure ess at 88 each in case their prices rise again to 110-120 each. Should I expect to see pure ess prices rise soon?)
  23. Wow, awesome job! Hope you enjoy the moneys. Quite coincidental too: I'm 80 rc now, and I'll start rcing to 91 rc on friday when I get members back. How much hours a day do you play for? I'd like to see how long it'll take for me to get the last 11 levels. :)
