  1. Farm lvl unfornately doesn't affect rate of getting diseased. I believe ranarrs have relatively higher rate of getting diseased than other mid-lvl herbs (toadflax - torstol). Interestingly enough however, Jagex have personally confirmed that the higher your farming the level the higher the chance that you would harvest more crops from your plants. :-k One patch dies in like every three runs for me (38 farming ). However, this may be swayed by the fact I've only done about maybe twelve runs..
  2. Although merchanting is lame, you have a point. Though personally i'd spend it on a skill that will be more profitable at a higher level. Why on earth is Merchanting lame..? In my OPINION, standing on the same spot just repetitively typing 'selling lalalala' and 'buying lalalala' for hours on end to make a bit of pixelated cash is kind of pointless, and otherwise wasting time that could be spent socialising and having fun outside in the real world.
  3. Canifis, i'd say, with edgeville coming a close second.
  4. Simple question: In your farming experience, how often do your rannar herbs (I'm asking ONLY for rannar herbs as I'm only bothering with these :P) die per farming run (5 patches in total)? E.g. 1 death every 4 farming runs, 1 death every 2 runs, etc. Just wondering this so I could calculate profit per hour (it takes about 5 minutes for me to do a run -.-) and whether it would compare to the profit that I already get using runecrafting. Thanks!
  5. Yeah, that's terrible for me, I need to RC lots. =S Is the disease effect frequent? How often do herbs get diseased: 1 every two runs, three runs, or what? And is it worth it to get an amulet of nature and if so, which patch should I enchant it to? (please note that I am only using herb patches such as rannar for profit). Thanks!
  6. Okay, thanks - is there a set amount of time that the disease effect occurs in? Or do herbs just get diseased randomly? And, how long does a herb patch that is diseased take to die? The only way to know if a herb patch is diseased is if I attatch an amulet of nature or I stand next to it, right? There are no other ways of telling if your herbs are diseased or not, which stinks for people like me who do other things then do a farm run. :(

(please note that I am only using herb patches such as rannar for profit) I think an amulet of nature is pretty pointless (for me at least), because I'd have to wear it or carry it around with me, which is hard because I need inventory space and a glory to RC with. -.- Thanks! P.S. Posting multiple questions in one thread ftw.
  8. OK, tyvm both of you, this will help immensely. :) I do not need super compost or normal compost to grow this apple tree if I pay the farmer to look after it, correct? Thanks again - but I still won't touch the skill after I'm done with the diary. :P :)
  9. Hi, I need to grow (without letting it be diseased) a fruit tree (I'll grow an apple one) for the Karamja Achievement Diary. However, I have no idea how to plant a tree, since I have never tried the farming skill (my levels are gotten from tears of guthix). I will be paying the farmer 9 raw sweetcorns to watch over but I don't understand this - if I pay him his watch payment does that mean my appple tree will never die? So, could somebody please list down the procedure of growing an apple tree including listing down the equipment needed - up to the point where its sufficient enough to complete that stupid fruit tree task in the Diary? I'm so confused right now, and I hate farming. This is my first and last time I'll be touching this complicated skill. :( Thanks to those who help.
  10. Oh my Gosh - random events are training agility now! (see the mysterious old man on the stepping stone over the lava) :XD: Not a fake btw. :)
  11. Melee doesn't affect Aviansie. Only ranged and magic can damage it.
  12. There should be a guranteed content poll in my opinion, although only if it is proposed as a preferential voting system like what most democratic nations employ today (listing your preference for each option).
  13. Bank at "Bird-Eye Jack"'s Booth, which is right next to the other Sirsal Bankers. The others won't let you bank, only he will.
  14. A few months ago. Esc switches to your inventory tab, F1 to the first tab (your attack styles), F2 to the second (skills), etc.
  15. Hehe, no. They can only be purchased from the Lumbridge Cave Mines bone weaponry shop (after completing Lost Tribe quest you get access to this), or else purchased from other players.
  16. 15s with bone bolts at my ranged level!?! 4gp ea a shot!?! Comparable to adamantite arrows at my ranged level!?! You betcha.
  17. Hiya folks, I've got a quick query about the karamja achievment diary: Is it possible to complete the level 3 Karamjan Achievment diary if I haven't completed the lvl 2 Karamjan Achievment diary? I have an inkling that I am able to, but I would like to confirm it with you guys first. Thanks. :)
  18. Have you seen his bank pic? :XD: Good luck with 99 smithing (and future 99s), if I see you I might get you to make some glories out of some dragonstones I have.
  19. It's pyramid plunder that gets you 200k exp per hour, not thieving knights, isn't it?
  20. What :!: :?: :?: :!: :!: Sarcasm :!: :!: Unless you were being sarcastic yourself. :-k
  21. Good luck with 99 mining THEN 99 Runecrafting. I know you're dedicated enough for this. Too bad I'll beat you to 91 runecrafting. :) I'm currently lobbying to admins to disable your posting rights. I'll let you know how that goes. ;) glhf, keep no-lifing. :XD:
  22. I think he got a HP level on the basilisk that dropped the left half? If so, that would have been a pretty good kill, 10/10. :)
