1) Yes, and it is quite fun. But honestly, if you are teaming with someone, and they go to gds, what do you expect? I got 6+ rune sets this way. In like 4 weeks rofl. 2) No... I agree. How many people honestly bring one form of combat nowadays? Its all about slapping on 40K d hide and protecting your whip over and over....

I think the recent triangle is fairly balanced, the rangers have what rangers should have, the mages have ancients which isn't all that powerful, and warriors have defenders. (edits and elaborates) Ranging I don't think has ever been a very good dueling skill, but then again how many people do you see maging fire giants or shooting between those greater demon bars with fire wave? Ranging is a wonderful skill in its own right, and almost everyone keeps it equal to its other stats. if it really was that underpowered, why would this be? Magic has always been what players use against other players. Rarely do you ast magic on a monster. And evn if you look at the triangle as a simple PKing chart, a ranger can still beat it and a warrior can be effectively shot down from a distance. Sure a lucky DDS can kill the common mager, but then again the triangle isn't a definite thing. A warrior can get beaten by a ranger. Warriors have always been the common way of attacking both players and monsters. Defenders have added to its power... which is fine considering ancients and the rangers ability to run, and fast. Surely it is a bit overpowered, but I'm not one to complain. I think compared to past days, the triangle is fairly balanced. Wanted to get a few opinions on this.

Np Mate :D I said try whichever works for him. I followed a RuneHQ guide, which I now regret because it wasted me a whole day (there they tell you to mage all of them). I tried tried killing the first two with mage first, and couldn't do it (80 mage isn't great, but it isn't that bad either). I used half invent of swordies and half of sharks and couldn't do it. Next trip I came with melee equipment and dhide, and it took me approx. half an invent of lobsters (these were both medium toughness ones). After that, I did the other 2 with melee also (one was the very easy one and other, the very hard one), and made it out both times with food to spare. I am not telling him exactly what to do. I gave him suggestions on what to do for both. I simply told him what worked best for me. If you finished TD with mage, grats, because you did something I could not. :wall: Good luck Ianw77 :thumbsup: You'll enjoy the rewards once you're done. Edit: I not suggesting you bring lobsters or swordies #-o Just bring all your best stuff, and a 1 slot tele (ectophial or tele-tablets work best), and give it all you got :P I'd suggest bringing 1 super set, anything else that specific monsters needs to be defeated, and full sharks. I'd suggest maging it, meleeing it is really tough if you don't have a whip. And if you use the elements to your advantage you can and will be able to defeat all of them at a low level. His best bet, IMO, is maging.

Well informed post. I'd suggest getting mage a lot higher though, there really is no point in doing DT if you don't have the magic level to use the spells you get. That's like buying cannonballs before even starting range.

Marrentils never die for me. Rannars do -.- I left a marrentil out for 2 days, nothing. I log out for an hour and WHAM, crops are dead.

Alright, I just got the delightful ability to plant rannar seeds. While this is amazing, it left me with an odd question. All of them died. Some of them even died beofre reaching adulthood. Doesn't it say somewhere that herbs don't need to be watered? How do I lower my disease chances for herbs? (I'm using supercompost)

I guess we'll all just have to expect a good update next week. After thinking about it, no reason to complain on a forum.
