  1. But you didn't partake in the festivities, why should anyone who's not going get something for...not going? :? And why should i pay alot of money to go to UK for one day to take part in the fest? I thought that players who went to the fest, could get the banner+plant it. On their banner should say Runefest 2010. While those who didn't get a copy of that without it being plantable or something. But that's just a solution as some players find it unfair.
  2. People! i got a solution to the problems! Players who attended event, with code gets: the banner as said Player who want the banner but didn't attend (maybe did a small event in-game?): gets a copy of the banner, exactly same but without "Rune Fest 2010". That way we can separate those who went and didn't.
  3. OK, i got my headset and checked the voices out. I think it's good. The female voice actor is really good! The male is OK. I'm not saying that i could do better when it comes to voicing, but the female voice actor/artist was better than the male. This should be educational. And i support this, but i am more for refining of sounds than this. This voice actor sounds british, hire him Jagex? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpQfq8Y8vcA
  4. Considering the expenses of those who are going, i think it's only fair that they get such a item to show off. I am not going myself, wish i could get that banner though.
  5. Voices in a game? That is stupid, if you consider Jagex will not get TOP voice artists. Without top artists you might as well just not do it. A shame that they spend time on a thing like this, i doubt many people would care about it. Working on sounds in Runescape enviroments would be better than this.
  6. I agree on this.
  7. That's a cool banner.
  8. If it is just a Runefest banner/sign, then that's all good.
  9. A code that will give you a cosmetic item if you attend Runefest? You sure you wanna make that move Jagex? You shouldn't. Cosmetic updates - matters from little to ALOT to players. Example, i would like a Bunny ears, but i don't like squirrel ears.
  10. How about giving out some quests? Instead of dealing with some numbers and giving out a chaotic stupid "Bonus weekend". Crap is crap...
  11. One of the arguments behind rich players using money to earn more through price manipulation is that "Earning more money is a game for us". But that's the biggest crap ever. There is TONS ways of earning money without [bleep]ing up the game for everyone else. But can those players bother to do those methods? NO. Why? Selfish bastards. As an example of how much i detest price manipulation. Colony lords took over Africa, and used it for their own benefits not thinking about the people there. Now look what has happened... Corruption, poverty, illness And white people are being kicked out i hear? As revenge on colony lords. If you like to care only about yourself, to the extent that you [bleep] things up for many others. Then i suggest one thing, play the game in solitude. Which means NO Runescape player interaction in-game or here on Tip.it. If you can't? Then [bleep] you. You make a choice that your own benefit matters most. A choice that affect others game play negatively, and you still expect interaction with them?
  12. Having G.E update more often will make items price change MORE often. So it may make items not be bought out for long, but it will make prices of things change more often, creating chaos.
  13. As always i say yes. But i hope that Jagex is careful not to affect players who don't do price manipulation. They should be very careful, because it's no point removing a pest and another one comes up. A good example of this is a problem i recently was late to realize: Adamant platebodies sell only 100 of em per 4 hours. Of course i will keep smithing platebodies, but would be nice if the limit was not there.

    lol (no disrespect with it)
  15. I liked reading it, and i am in the same situation. I got 6 days of membership left and thought of taking a break to give my best the last months i have left of school. But then goals and new skills came. I might go F2P.
  16. It's a nice effort, but don't see the big reason to go there. Not that i would if i had one.
  17. What's best weapon for damage per second to use at Dungeoneering for a high level? Longsword Rapier 2H or Maul? I'm thinking Longsword myself...but not sure.
  18. A rule that says no advertising of merchant clans do help Have you not ventured to world 2 as of late? Advertising clan chat spam has recently been made an offense, a reportable one at that. I was not aware of that. When i go Grand Exchange or crowded places i tend to take my public chat off nowdays. I also avoid standing at G.E. World 2 G.E would be sucidial so. But great to know! What do i report advertisers under? Spam?
  19. A rule that says no advertising of merchant clans do help
  20. Not only is this absolutely false -- as demonstrated innumerable times throughout history -- the fact that you even suggest it demonstrates that you haven't really thought this issue through very well. No i have not thought well about that rule suggestion, but who gives a crap? If your so knowledgeable, the least you can do is inform me of what can go wrong instead of telling me that i have not thought well about the rule. Now stop being a [bleep]en [wagon] and go into details. Your really pissing me off. If you don't want to go into details, then don't [bleep]en come into this topic. That simple. And no, i'm not much of a thinker.
  21. No, i am aware and understand that some players finding a growing gold bag a game. But i don't get why you have to do it by manipulating prices of the game. I'ma not continue to talk about this though so let's this be the end.
  22. Noone is stopping you from using your money on items or skills. If you HAVE money, why do you need more? and more importantly why play a game to make only more money? And why not do it in a way that don't affect others? I'm surprised of your comment.
  23. This is one thing I can agree with you on. There's so much of a gray zone here that many non-manipulators will be unfairly punished, and many manipulators will go unpunished. It's a respectable idea, and it will even out the economy to be more stable- but it will be nigh impossible to implement it to be 100% accurate at only punishing manipulators. In Poker a player can bluff, but it might not be a bluff either. Now if Jagex releases a rule that says they forbid price manipulation, and in the mean time they can TRY to find a solution. A solution that will work pretty good. And then the rule will in mean time scare players to do price manipulation. And those that keep on doing it, will one day find themself banned.
  24. NVM i got it. Please delete this post if you spot it Mods.
  25. Banning accounts would slow the price manipulator a little (even if you have a super program that creates accounts + tutorial play). Sooner or later the price manipulator will get a little bugged by it. But who-has-the-itent- to-manipulate issue makes me speechless. And a rule is better than no rule.
