Iron vs steel dragons
Another reason for why you should go for Irons instead of Steels: If Steels dropped alot of Visages, you would see MANY players reporting about this. Take me as an example, i have not gotten a Visage of neither, and i have killed loads of both.

Shattered Heart Discussion

POLL: What is your opinion on the recent Hitpoints/Constitution update?
There should be a comma between the decimal. The number 10 is not small in reality. The number 990 is ALOT. So it kinda messes with your brain. We have been used to the plain old good system for ages. I hate how "BIG" numbers should be added to make the game look better. But hey, why not make it x20, or x300 while your at it? That way the lower levels will go "WoW i am great!"

Good luck with the blog! And no CBT is not skilling!

What about melee?
Diamond e bolts + focus sight = Equal to melee. + Rangers are getting Dragon crossbow. Besides Rangers have safespots, does melee have that? NO. As a low level Warrior, killing metals with melee cost alot. While rangers and magers had safespot (so no prayer pot needed)... Also turmoil costs... We have no idea if we're getting a dragon crossbow soon. It could be a couple years, so that's a moot point. Safespots are almost inefficient for rangers and mages, as they make using combat familiars nearly impossible (I say nearly because some safespots, like the black demons room in CT, give you open space with which to send forth your familiar into battle). It's not difficult to tank no matter what style of combat you're using. Low level? Are you low level? I know I'm not, so I don't know why that's an issue. If you're so low level that metals are a problem, you might want to block them. You can make money slaying with turmoil if you know what you're doing. It's much harder and more expensive to make money mage slaying or range slaying. EDIT: To clarify, if you're willing to use turmoil on task, you should also be willing to use 15% prayers or leech prayers for range and mage, hence making them more expensive, especially because it's harder to get high prayer bonuses without sacrificing attack bonuses. You can make money slaying with turmoil if you know what you're doing, are you talking about flash praying? Well Rangers and Mages also have the same option with Eagle eye and the magic prayer. Sure i agree that there should have been curses for magic and ranged. A safespot will always be a advantage, maybe not now, but later. That advantage is what Rangers and Mages have. Warriors don't, so instead of buying bolts and runes, they buy potions (Prayer) for close combat. As for Combat familiars, they are best suited to use at multi combat area with aggressive monsters. Non-aggressive monsters will die fast if you use a combat familiar and shoot bolts, and before it reaches you it will die. Rangers and Mages have DISTANCE also. It's easy tanking yes, but as bugs have showed us, when a safespot is found - range dominates it. It gives such HUGE advantage that it makes your gold pile go up. But i KNOW those were bugs, but it shows how a safespot helps a ranger or mager. Warriors don't have that.

As a low level Warrior, killing metals with melee cost alot. While rangers and magers had safespot (so no prayer pot needed)... Also turmoil costs... Zamorakian spear costs 5.2M With that much money you can buy a rune cross bow (10K), and 4481 Diamond e bolts (5.19M). 4481 Diamond e bolts...that takes alot of time to use up.

What about melee?
Melee is not that superior. Ranged got +3 attack bonus, Magic got +3 magic attack bonus....and they also have same boost as Slayer helmet for melee. So why should melee not get +3 attack bonus? If a Ranger uses diamond e bolts combined with Focus sight/full slayer helmet = they will most likely beat melee'rs. Morningrise333 is right. You could easily kill a strykewyrm with a godsword. I know, I was never a member, BUT, I saw Sosolid's vid. There are TONS monsters a ranger and meleer can kill easily...TONS. But that's not a good reason for melee not to get +3 attack bonus. Monsters: Metals dragons Abyssal demons Gargoyles etc...there are monsters with defence also.

03-Mar-10 Changes to HP Skill, Shattered Heart, RuneScape Lobby/Login Changes, Success at Smelting Iron
Is there a purpose behind this odd hitpoints update?
-
What about melee?
Ranged and Magic recently got their own black masks which could be added to Slayer helmet and make "Full Slayer helmet". But Jagex, you have forgotten something...+3 ranged and magic attack bonus is what the FULL slayer helmet gives... But what about melee?

Whip or GS at Graardor?
Thats a load of bull. Because a team requires you to have a GS, they are selfish? Not to mention the fact that, as already mentioned, potions don't interrupt combat if timed right. In other words, you really don't know what you are talking about, and are just stating an opinion without ANY experience to back it up. Whip+defender is better DPS for longer kills, eg smaller teams, or if you have x pots+turmoil. Without x pots+turmoil its close. In larger teams, garagedoor (:P) dies so fast, it really doesn't matter. Mhm i did not think of Godsword in that way. So you can time potions? I was refering to both potions and food. So if ONLY potions - then i am then not so unaware as i thought i was.

Settlers 3 & 4 - Have you Played it?
That stinks badly...it makes sense that if your on a wall or tower you will have a advantage over someone who's below in a bare land. Hey are you maybe interested in seeing Settlers IV military fight? It's not a "WOW", but it's pretty OK  In Settlers 4 only swordsmen can fight the archers/swordsmen inside the towers/castles.

A Naked Book
Very impressive.

A Naked Book
The ice sabeltiger looks scared. It makes the archer become the predator and the tiger the prey. It's important from my view that the tiger looks threatning and not scared, because this will then say that the archer is a BRAVE man. But if you want it to seem the way it is (archer hunting), then that's cool. Very curious about this, have you drawed everything by the picture?

Settlers 3 & 4 - Have you Played it?
I stopped playing RoE so i did not get to the military tasks, but man only archers and swordsmen? THat's disappointing! Though i gotta say that archers+towers+walls = Awesomeness. But yeah it's quite nice building up your city, however i think i will like Settlers 7 more than 6.

The Guide to Lvl 99 Runescape Video Making
You seem like a nice guy Excl. Just wanted to say thanks for the tips. But a thing you should improve with your guide is to add more pictures/illustrations, just words is boring.

Whip or GS at Graardor?
Then i have to say that i suck at timing.
-
Whip or GS at Graardor?
Abyssal whip attack is fast, so i doubt you can "time" it for the whip. That's your opinion. And Abyssal whip is not worse than a Godsword.
-
Whip or GS at Graardor?
It does...it's just that if you have auto retaliate on then you will automatically continue attacking.
-
Whip or GS at Graardor?
There are some factors to think about when it comes to which weapon being the best. One thing is for sure, Abyssal whip becomes better the more accuracy boost you get. Example of accuracy boost: Slayer helmet, Extreme potions, Turmoil..and so on. Things That Interrupt Your Attacks Prayer bonus - if you have low, you will be forced to drink prayer dose Defence - if you have low you will be damaged easier. So looking at both weapons, Godsword and Abyssal whip...i would say both of them are equal. Godsword has +8 prayer bonus, where as Whip has 0. So Godsword is a advantage in drinking less prayer (remember, when drinking you stop your attack). But on the other hand, Abyssal whip can nearly land two attacks before Godsword lands one. This is very good in team, constant attacks, no need to eat food because someone else is tanking. And with Rune defender, Abyssal whips penetration becomes better. What do i recommend? Both weapons have a advantage and disadvantage, but they seem to be equal. So i recommend that if you can afford a Godsword easily, buy one. And if you can't, then stick to Abyssal whip. However, if you have under 75 Prayer, then i recommend a Godsword IF you can afford it. A Last Thing Don't join forces with teams that require you to have a Godsword. I'm sure there can be many polite and nice players/teams that require a Godsword from you, but many of them are filthy dogs deep down. They are in other words, selfish.

Save the Date! 26-Feb-2010
I am F2P, so this stinks. If i were member i would still not like these kind of boosts. Makes the game EVEN MORE chaotic than it is already.

Jellies - Best clue giver for a high level?
Jellies it is. And the reasons why: 1) Low hitpoints and defence 2) Easy acessable (though this is not so important) 3) One of best Clue scroll givers (My clue radar have picked Jellies up BIG TIME) 4) Many Jellies 5) Not crowded 6) Max hit they do is 6. So Jellies seem best <3: Monsters like Gargoyles, Aberant spectres, Abyssal demons, Waterfiends, Spiritual mages and so on are good too. But they are alot tougher to deal with and less of. And it is true that Aberant spectres or Spiritual mage is good cash (give better than Clues will do), but my plan is to specialize in doing Clues. And i hope for a 3rd age. THANKS FOR ALL POSTS!

dust devils
There is a safespot in chaos tunnels. I recorded and uploaded the safespots, but i deleted the video from Youtube and my computer. However i found this thread which is about the safespots: http://forum.tip.it/topic/238109-safe-spots-for-dust-devils-chaos-tunnels/ READ IT!

Jellies - Best clue giver for a high level?
1) Brimhaven is quite a distance, and INFACT it's one of the spots that's crowed often. 2) Ogre enclave is also a distance away and the Greaters are behind some fence. So have to ranged + telegrab. 3) Greaters have 87 HP, Jellies 75. Greaters are great. But the area they are at (wide, so alot of roaming) and the amount of them, and also other players killing makes it not so good.

Jellies - Best clue giver for a high level?
Green dragons - not good or bad clue drop rate. Greaters - good drop rate but to few spots and WIDE open areas with many players. So far Jelly is winning.
