  1. run a search (start->search) for ultimate cleaner, or maybe one word at a time. tell it to look in my computer, to search through all files and folders, and in the advanced options tab check the box for "look in system folders", and maybe hidden files too, though usually these programs don't have that kind of access. You also may want a firewall, some of them block changes to your settings, ie home page. post a screenshot of the results, if there are any.
  2. the best way is to restore your system to before the forced update. start->accessories->system tools->system restore restore your computer to a day or two before the update, and see if that works.
  3. Yes it is. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php dang Google sponsors.
  4. adaware isn't freeware...
  5. Which is then made worthless by simply turning off javascript. :P If I were using javascript I would use but normally I use PHP. Some hosting companies don't allow ssl's, so I said javascript because it is more compatible, and the script is somewhat simpler.
  6. make sure it's not in greyscale or something like that...
  7. you can block access to the specific page with a little javascript, but it seems you may be in way over your head. RS took dozens of people years to make and perfect.
  8. lol, sorry. Why'd you go about doing all this anyway?
  9. nice, though the file is quite large, and you can't see the column headers and the bottom at the same time...
  10. all monitors are 72 dpi, 152 won't do more than confuse them.
  11. (Offtopic) - I always find it ironic that your sig lacks an apostrophe in "Don't", while moaning about others' language. :P I suppose that's what I get for using a sig made by someone else. I'll have to fix it someday.
  12. maybe you can offer the spreadsheet for download, you can't do ctrl + F in an image, and you might not want to spend the time converting it to a table, plus they can modify it for their own needs (unless you make it read only....)
  13. if you want a simplified answer: Plants convert sunlight, CO2 and H2O into glucose and O2. humans then (either directly or indirectly) eat the plants, and absorb the glucose. It is then broken down into energy, CO2 an H2O, consuming energy in the process. This is assuming aerobic respiration, but anaerobic has mainly the same principles.
  14. you can probably do it yourself, just copy his format. It looks nicer that way, though you still have a long way to go.
  15. just upload it as index.php I will see what it returns from site.c0m/index.php
  16. wow. **** don't use one of these bad free hosts, if you want a free one try to make it a respectable one. if you don't want to do that, do this: open notepad, and paste this to it exactly as it says here, with nothing else on the page. <?php phpinfo();?> save it as index.php, then upload it to your website. let's see how that goes.
  17. html, no. css, javascript, php, cgi.... all of them are pretty cool... not sure what you want though. & your link was broken.
  18. ok, a link might be nice. what do you want the code for?
  19. I'll help ya, what do you need?
  20. you won't touch the motherboard, and you can just touch a sink or something else metal beforehand.
  21. you can do it, just open the case (remove the big screws only), spray at whatever looks dusty, then close it back up.
