  1. Great stuff :D I really hope you finish these because theyre great! Smaller generally means faster AND you can put more detail into them. So try some 300x150 (im really into that size atm; not too big and not too small)

I think with the prayer you wont be good for staking but pking your still hopeful :) IF you were planning on staking I think range staking is the best atm; so get 90+ range. If your planning on pking Youll want that korasai sword (dont know the quest for it) pking maybe get -70-80ish hp -70 attk (whips and such) -90+ str -90+ range -85+ mage (for either tbh or blitzing) -52 prayer for smite I dont pk much anymore but thats what I would do :)
  4. They can suck it up. If they want the best of the best gear they have to pay for it. In WoW youll pay a [cabbage]load for your gear and never see dime of it afterwards cause its "bind on equip" I hate bringing wow into it but its true.
  5. Picture this even; -A store that sells both cosmetic and actually useful gear -Everything costs between 100m-2bil -None of the stuff is tradeable once you buy it. Sink hole created. If people want "the best" they can buy it, but not with the mindset of ever having that cash back. EDIT: thatd actually be a quick way to release more gear into the game AND remove gold. Make quests (grandmasters maybe) that unluck special stores that allow you to buy these expensive yet still untradeable items.
  6. cool short-film :) If you make a part two check out hill giants in f2p worlds. its even worse.
  7. ^ What Carl said is right the whole micro transactions thing is a pointless arguement. Ever played Gunbound or Maplestory or half of the MMORPG's out there? Theyre all F2p games that make money in an "item-store". The store sells useless vanity items to players, not huge stat boosting gear. This is basically the same thing.
  8. I tried to snipe that off you when you changed it for a month :shades: Mines Nashville. You never get on it gimme the name pl0xz :P If RS3 came out and it was more like the other MMORPG's out there (LOTRO, WoW, Rift, Etc) I wouldnt want to start at lvl 3, but I probably would make a new account anyways to experience all the new things. But rs3 is never coming out so no point in discussing it :(
  9. ^ I dont know if they all use that or not. I know alot of it is injection and reflection. The injection bots are free and is the main problem that we deal with.
  10. Maybe only (im going to get raged on for saying this) allow pmods to ban x amount of botters for free mems. That way we dont have kids abusing the system.
  11. Its a good point and I agree another cleaning should be "in the cards" as jagex likes to say
  12. I remember how PISSED I was when I picked up my bunny ears and found out I couldnt trade them lol :P The point made about item prices only "decreasing in price unless it is only obtainable for a limited amount of time" is a good one. Maybe they should release more limited items? Like that detectives outfit you got if you did the stupid event that week (wish i had :() I know you cant trade that outfit but something along those lines would be interesting to see.
  13. ^ thats why i dont object to their price. I only suggest they make other "expensive entities" for people to sink their cash into. That way the demand for expensive nonsense gets spread around and not all on just 6 colorful paper hats.
  14. Its a new site entirely its not even a game anymore. I dont mean do you see RS getting shut down. But do you see a trend with rule breaking in RS that was around towards the end of CS You might want to check out f2p worlds if you havent recently. Its pretty bad.
  15. Haha I remember those, that was a habbo hotel thing that carried over. The reason I ask though is, do you see a similar trend in RS now that was around during the time they just shut the game down?
  16. Lol well im suprised somebody else knew of it too :) Was a fun game, I enjoyed running the little "record label" and all that stupid stuff. Can I ask you, did you play it around the time when people were hacking trades and when it got shut down?
  17. Yeah it was :) My name was Cali4nia I dont know if that means anything to you though lol
  18. I agree that the big picture, although not as flashy and shocking as short-term, will have a better effect on the game. -Instanced dungeons with bosses with untradeable drops (gear, loot, vanity clothes, etc) is a good idea -The new high lvl player area was meant to be a way to offer faster xp rates for people on that land and have it away from the lower levels (So they cant train as fast) In WoW when you first play killing a monster and getting 100 xp to kill it is good xp but once your higher lvl you need to kill stuff that offers more xp. Then all of a sudden killing monsters that offer 2,500 xp is good. The new mainland for higher levels is a way to offer that 2,500 xp without the lower levels getting ahold of it. thats what we meant when we talked about the higher lvl lands.
  19. @wessan does that fix the issue of the prices being too high though? I think it just makes the issue worse.
  20. We had something, but then they brought RWT free trade back. On topic - If Jagex had dealt with this issue back in 2003 by either making the previous year's items untradable or simply making them available for purchace from the general stores or Thessalia then this wouldn't be an issue now. Old GE with the price limits wasn't really something. Phats were virtually unbuyable off the GE and the whole "street value" system was pretty messy. Letting the items rise to their 'natural' value really is better. Re-releasing rares is a bad idea. It would make a bunch of rich players lose a lot of their value and the rares would be worthless afterwards anyway so there would be little reason to buy them. Agreed, the price limiting wasnt a good idea. As for re-releasing AND compensating the owners with their cash... Then they wouldnt be as cool. Who wears that stupid santy claws hat? Nobody. Side note; your f2pness is AWESOME <3
  21. I applied, for The Gallery, of course :) goodluck everyone!
  22. Really cool work :) the thirds my favorite. Are digipaints always kind of... blurry?
  23. @Riderr It has though, I dont mean "Price in RSGP" I meant price in TIME. Now instead of grinding for 500k p/hr until you have 1.5bil, you can spend maybe a week or two killing Nex for the gear and then TRADE the gear for the phat. Eliminate the middle-man. Lose the coins and trade items for items. Its the only way to fix it at this point.
  24. I wish people could turn these sorts of threads into something worth reading. Its just a bunch of trolling. "You just wish you had my phat" "Its not fair" "Your an idiot" He has a point, phats and other rares are approaching max cash! We need SOMETHING to bring them back down.
  25. A better way around it would be to release more higher level content for them to spend their money on. It would, in turn, lower the prices of phats :D Picture gear for lvl 85, 90, 95 and 99 combat levels! Instead of seeing this; "buying white phat for 1.8bil!" youd see this; "Trading this lvl 95 gear I got as a drop for either 1 blue or 2 purple phats!" Basically making phats their old price. Nex pretty much did this but imagine if even more stuff like that was introduced.
