Get all your cb stats to 95+ so you can use that rapier the way its supposed to be used :P awesomely ofc. And i agree dont spend all your dough on 99 herb :o get to like 94 and use the rest on bursting/summoning.

Sorry to thread jack but im curious to this too :o maybe we can both learn from my questions (i dont want to fill H&A with more nex threads) -Is Spectral better than a DFS for nex Because its attack bonuses > DFS's defensive bonuses? -Diamond bolts along with Ruby Bolts? Or does the extra damage done by ruby bolts outweigh the fact that they damage you too. Are there any Nex Hunting clans that would take me/him in and help us learn?

ill never pay $10 a month for RS unless the game starts using arrow keys to move around and not the stupid mouse-click system they have now. But the GM idea is a good one though. Maybe even a new era of Pmods designated specifically for bot/scammer hunting? food for thought.

I really know nothing about rare prices so ill prob end up sounding like a noob but... Are phat prices going to stay at the 1bil range from now on? That would have to mean ALOT of people have 1b+ to fork over that kind of cash... Guess there was a down side to wildy and ft coming back after all.

^ I agree Id like to see more boss monsters given as tasks. Perhaps they fear giving the bonus of a slayer helm when fighting bosses would make the fights too easy and eventually lower the price of the drops? food for thought. Id still like to see a 50 Kree task though :)

Maybe he likes the view of desert lol. One thing that would always scare me of geting 200m in a skill is the eventual lvl cap being raised to 120 and then the release of higher xp p/hr methods to help reflect this increase. Would make all the time spent at a lower xp p/hr seem like a waste.

I figured it would get them stuck in a sense; having them trying to right click nothing for a long enough period of time to make it obvious to jagex's systems that theyre botting.

Do you know if the bots can approximate the shape of the objects using just the ID's? Would be curious about this.

If you have an account on sites like [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] and that youd know they constantly brag about trolling tif, rsc and rsof. How do you know theres not a thread already made about this thread along the lines of "lol! those tif kids think theyre gunna find a way to stop us! botters ftw!" Also if you looked hes trolling other threads too. So even if hes not a bot hes still a troll. As for having accounts on botting forums, I do not. Though a while back I did have a thread where I posted some information I had dug up about them. EDIT: If your a programmer why did you need to ask about invisble items with ID's -.- Plus explain what you know about colour detection and how "easy" it is the code. I cant really think of any other way they could be "logged" into the game without being seen. Make sense? As for colour detection; even if it is true that the bot scripters could just start including that into the bots it would take a long time to redo all the current bots and update them with the new colour detecting system. Id imagine detecting colors would require MUCH more coding than just simple ID detecting and would require more skillful scripters and more time. Therefore, it could knock out bots at least for a while.

That could easily be worked around by adding limited colour detection to current bcel or reflection bots lol its funny he says this because he has like 2 posts, joined like 30 min ago and knows a suspicious amount about bots. Ill let you guys decide where he stands as far as botting goes though. As for colour detecting thats a completely different story and last time I checked bots havent used that method since the RSC days because it SUCKED. Think about how many misclicks that would provide. Im almost hoping they do that as it would make it that much more obvious.

Want to know how to find bots and easily catch them? Invisible Items/Monsters that only bots would see. RS runs on Java. Everything is coded with an ID #. Bots work by detecting ID's. Heres the solution: Make a new era of random events where items appear around the person in question that are coded the same as whatever theyre doing but ARENT ACTUALLY THERE. Aka, if the person in question is fighting... green dragons. have 4-5 invisible green dragons with the SAME id's as the regular green dragons appear all around the person, but theyd be unclickable (theyre ghosts basically, you wouldnt be able to see them but a bot would because its gathering java data) Therefore, the person in question would react to this in two different ways: Regular person: -wouldnt even see the "invisible" things and they continue on their way. Bots: -Would consider this "invisible" thing to be real and would constantly attempt to click/attack/whatever to it. Therefore proving its a bot. So yeah, my dad does coding and crap for a living, and he made me take classes on it when I was in Jr High convinced that, "this will help me in the real world". Wasted most of my time that Summer but at least I can do Sites and stuff :) I dont know enough Java though to really get involved in giving better ideas, but thats one Ive always thought was a clever one. -C14

I totally agree; the only reason i still play is because I feel like I have some "unfinished goals" to complete before I can finally just play for fun. Its been like that for years, always "Working" with the thought that later on ill finally be able to "enjoy" the game. Its probably the reason Ive stayed with rs longer than every other mmorpg ive played. I "beat" Wow in under a year, along with all the others. The best part was, "Beating" them WAS the fun and afterwards the game lost its luster. With RS theres this huge expection we put on one another. Take Boss hunting for example; When I first got into boss hunting, I had so much fun. I had no idea what I was doing and THAT was the fun part. Learning how to last longer, being excited when id stay for 5 more kills then the last time. Then I reached a certain point where it became, "I need to get ovls, turm, and a yak to be better, then ill have fun again". Now I need... 200m for turm, 120m for ovls, 30m to get charms and 40m to get yak. So thats almost 400m I need to finally have "fun again". Heres the other thing Ive noticed with rs; The gear on this game takes hours to just AFFORD! What ever happened to getting the levels just to EQUIP the gear? Theres one thing I think jagex should do to make it more fun for the higher levels. In Wow and other MMORPG's ive played, in order to prevent higher levels requiring a ton of money to get gear that suits their levels, the gear is no longer tradeable. Meaning, they have to quest (jagex has this and people love it), but they also have high lvl gear dropped from dungeons and monsters. But the key to this is, its NOT TRADEABLE. Why is this important? Instead of boss hunting for money, they boss hunt for gear. Making money less important. Im not talking about gear thats the equiv of bandos. Im talking gear for lvl 85+ stats. That way Bandos/etc is still the best gear you can BUY.

I know this part of the forums is spammed with these nooby threads but i think my case is more unique than your regular build. Ive been leeching dg floors for a while and hopefully will have enough token for a rapier by next weekend :D. Heres my question; Im looking to make a good build for boxing/rapier staking. I imagine fights with only weps on is very similiar to boxing so heres the stats I was thinking: 80 att 70 str 80 def 99 hp *93 Cmb* This would hopefully allow me to outlast the people I fight, since my hp would be higher than anybody my lvl and the def would probably allow me to tank a fair amount. Questions -Is this a good stat build for what im after? -Are there alot of lvl 90ish rapier stakers already out there -Will i pwn O:) Thanks, sorry for another stat build thread :/ C14

Yeah Danq the people in the background have only 4 fingers because of them being much smaller (due to perspective issues). I tried all 5 fingers but their hands were way too big compared to the rest of their body. Ive noticed all the people Misterxman draws have 4 fingers and I think its for the same reason (plus it looks more cartoony :D) And shiny reall? :S what do you like about it. Well a while back I made a sig for N_odie; Old Sig And id have to say ive never been a fan of it. Drawing the inside of rooms really doesnt allow for much detail imo; especially when that room is a building from RS. Anyways I had another go at it, this time from the outside (edgeville bank). After hours later and my eyes killing me from starring at the computer screen this long this is what ive come up with; New Sig Im pretty pleased with the outcome; my computer crashed midway so i had to redo a great deal of it :x but id have to say having only started it 24 hours ago I think its one of my better RS related pixel attempts. Let me know what you guys think :) C/C welcome as always.

I didnt really know any of those people but I do remember everytime he made one I was amazed at how much better he was getting each sig. I think you can see the talent progress as you get further down the collage too.

I decided to try something a little different this time as far as pixel art goes. I was going through alot of old pixel sigs from pixel artists who've come through the gallery and found a huge collection of The Jeppoz (Tee Jay)'s stuff. Id have to say TJ was one of the people who got me into pixel art in the first place. So I thought itd be cool to try and pay tribute to one of the sigs I always liked. Id like to point out im in no way trying to copy the original sig, and therefore take no credit in the comedic concept behind it. I think you should max the HP too. I think the key to boxing is outlasting as opposed to max hits. So your right with the higher attack and not as high of str. Dont quote me though, as im not really a staker :P just what ive noticed from my 50m loss so far from boxing :D
