Heh, weird. Well I'm really happy right now because my Xbox Live account got recovered and all my points I lost got refunded. I have no idea how, but someone somehow got into my account and spent all my Microsoft points and changed my password I guess. I wasn't expecting Microsoft support to do much, but everything went fine.

You know you don't have to turn every thread into a religious debate, right?
  9. why do 10 year old girls enjoy music marketed towards them like justin bieber and not forty-year-old english prog rock?!?/

Holy crap, I just got a job in like 10 minutes. On Craigslist there was an ad saying to apply at a local Wendy's. I walked in and filled out an app without any prior experience or any good references, then the lady at the counter said the manager wanted to talk to me. Had a five minute interview with her and she said that once school ended for summer she'd hire me. That happened fast.

I thought that was my best part. I was happy about the topic for the DBQ, and I was able to use every single document and bring in a few pieces of outside information. So I'm pretty sure I did well there. The other free response questions were a little trickier but I think I did fine on those too. They got easier as I kept writing. The multiple choice section was harder than any practice multiple choice tests I had taken though.
  12. this thread is so weird
  13. Well I was never implying he shouldn't be running for President, I'm just saying he is/was a douchebag. Not to mention that he wasn't just a child when he did that, he was probably 17 or 18 years old. If you're doing stupid shit like cutting a kid's hair off because you don't like the way he looks when you're that old, I have to question your ability to reason in general.

@riku Yeah, I saw that when I was looking at previous free response questions online. Would've been so easy. Since they're not going to do two DBQs on recent events in a row we'll probably get some obscure questions about the colonies or old political parties or something.

Ahh that reminds me, APUSH test tomorrow morning. I'm not too nervous about it though, only a little worried about the essays.
  16. Oh and here's an interesting article. In prep/high school, Mitt Romney pinned down a gay classmate and cut his hair off. What a douchebag.
  17. That's pretty much what everyone does in every election they can vote in. Yeah I agree with what sees_all is saying about Obama's choice to endorse gay marriage. I think it does help him. People who are that opposed to gay marriage wouldn't have been voting for Obama anyways.
  18. Mmhmm, your friend....

  21. hahahahahaha, no. that is not true. some of my friends who are also atheists are extremely ignorant and don't even try question their beliefs to any extent. they just pull the whole "why does god not cure cancer patients" kind of argument and that's enough for them. you also keep talking about how there's some sort of great pressure in America for you to attend church or be Christian, clearly you have never been here for any significant amount of time.
  22. There weren't any personal attacks. If someone makes some dramatic exit from the thread because they don't like being criticized (which you're asking for if you partake in the debate), that's no one's fault but their own. And that should go for any side of the debate. I hope the moderating team doesn't spoil the thread for the rest of us because some people get offended by getting questioned.

Haha yeah the calculator free-response part was so hard. Man I left so much stuff blank.
  24. Well... Since I am *clearly* an ignorant [wagon], I am done with this topic. Faith is all that one should need. If one day when I die, and there is no Heaven or Hell. Why should I care? I'm dead. But if there is, and all of the unbelievers are in the latter of the two. Maybe I'll just smile. >smiling at the sake of the non-believers who are burning in hell for eternity loving Christianity right there
