Ignoring the blatent "RIP Old RS" theme of this post, the fact of the matter is times have changed. The game isn't owned by the people it was originally run by, and with changes in leadership comes changes in philosophies. Simple. The constant rehash of this argument seems to live on the notion that Jagex are the only people who have ever sold out, which in itself is comedic at best.
