Might instead go spend some time at Glacs and hunt for effigies/cash. Dunno really. Bunch of DGs today. 3b2b occs (only 1 death) with the clan, and an occ on 77 (3 deaths). 354k gained. 2856k to new warp. Sad.

When I meant F2P costs, I did mean servers and bandwidth, rather than staff costs, which are funded presumably from other areas (brb being jagex and knowing, but I'd say P2P subscription would cover a part of that). As for ads, Jagex gets the money for advertisement space regardless of whether or not you click. There could be no hits on the advertisements, but they are still paid for taking up the space.

He never said government. I think he was implying Jagex ran their game into the ground, sold a huge amount of the game to investors, and now they don't care anymore. That's just my guess as to what he means though. Direct comparison to US Banks being bailed out (by the government) gives a fairly strong impression otherwise. Especially since investment is hardly a bailout.

Last night's assist went to Herb (30k straight up). Been finding it more difficult to get Farm than Herb which - to me atleast - seems very unusual. Dat xp. It's the same as you get for turning in rocks for Statue of Dahmaroc rocks (L2 − 2L + 100). Nearly 7k RC xp for <90 seconds work, it's pretty good.

So, aif I'm reading your stance correctly (please feel free to correct this), every decision made must be completely justified in a public arena, albeit even if it has nothing to do with the general public, because after all, each decision does affect plays. But what level at which does it have to 'result in customer disloyalty? 1 player? 10 players? As for the adverse affect on players, I don't see any here outside of Jiblix and Ken Genosis (again, assuming you are using players to describe the population of the game). They have been demodded, so what is the effect on the rest of the community?

That's a poorly constructed argument on both accounts. F2P costs are covered by advertisements. You as an F2P player, are displayed advertisements as an off-set for not directly contributing. You are contributing simply by being there - no F2P, no advertisement revenue,l ess income for Jagex. Unemployment benefits (pensions etc) -> able to buy things -> buy things that are taxed and see businesses profit, who also pay tax, and employ people, who also, funnily enough, pay tax. Not contributing?

He's still beatable, but just be weary that there is a very good chance of dying. The vampyre gear stays with you on death, as does Drakan's Medallion, so it is rediculously fast to return to your grave, but yes, you should be prepared for some rage.
