So, been alternating between skilling and dung'ing. Set a new goal of 90 Thieving, having bought the 2 pharoh sceptres after Sara Hilt drop, I've been 'camping' Pyramid Plunder for 2 hours at a time.. Any more, and I'm likely to lose my mind. Managed yesterday to level twices (82-84) without any screenies. I've gained ~500kxp in the last 2 days, so I could concievably hit 90 sometime next week. Also bought 150 mahogany planks, to finally train con for the first time in months. 10 minutes in Fast SC, and 1 hammer later:- 2 Floors today, both occs, 1 SurvProd Fleshie, and one 2 Death TF with plenty of rage. Enough tokens acquired to finally get my ring set:- Planted trees for 99 farm. Will have it tomorrow. :blink:

How, how about, I play however the hell I want. If that means leaving my bones behind, WHO CARES.

F2P has userbase of x% (which, factually, is not 100%), meaning that the p2p userbase is (100-x)%. Now, sure, we can have an "uprising" in F2P if we want. Falador Riots of old, because lets face it, they've worked everytime. I mean, they eventually did take away restricted trade, right? It only took 3-4 years. But to absolutely remove the remaining portion (that portion, of course, being P2P) removes a fair proportion of the voices. To isolate yourselves as "the only people who have a say" takes out a substantial support base, of people - who, in the eyes of Jagex, seem to have a bigger say - many of whom have stood against this series of updates and said "well, this is unacceptable." Now, by all means, you are able to publically denounce these people because "they have p2p" and therefore "have no say on F2P" (we'll get to that in a moment shall we?) but to alienate a substantial support base like you are suggesting is not going to assist your cause, infact, it has the potential to be negative. Whilst I agree there are people who are both members and do not support the F2P player agenda ("you don't pay, you don't have a say), you cannot reasonably expect uniform support for your stance. It's not going to happen. Instead of removing affiliation with the entire P2P community, which from all accounts, is what you are suggesting, you should be making use of the support you are getting from segments in the P2P community. Because, frankly, uniform statements about who has a right to speak and who doesn't, has the potential to create enemies to the cause. Moving onto the "P2P vs F2P" thing. You have to understand, that myself, as a paying customer, do have a right to get angry and make statements regarding F2P. Why? Because I'm not paying solely for P2P. There is overlap, things that F2P get, I get as well (of course, it is not the same in reverse). While some of the decisions that are made do not affect me directly - such as the highscores thing, a) because I'm a member and b) because I don't really care - while others will (such as a new F2P skill). As an addendum, I can use the George Carlin quote as a means of "F2P don't have a say" quite easily. You don't pay (of course, a substitute for voting), you don't get to whinge. But that's not constructive in this situation at all. Edit: Nuke, you are P2P, so as a final note, what gives you the right to make statements about "who can and can't talk for F2P" when you aren't F2P yourself. Seems a bit contradictory. Just a thought.

Removing reps who talk down about the game. Sure, if you want to be Joe Bloe mr no-crown player going for Jagex's Jugular (any number of people in this thread, lets face it) over every (percieved) bad decision, FINE. But to come out with the F-Mod/P-Mod status, and deliver nothing but bad press, there are consequences. No one is saying "don't have an opinion", they are saying, if you have an opinion like this, discuss it in a means that does not involve the crown, because while you have that crown, you are represent Jagex. Getting rid of volunteers (who, lets face it, are easily replacable when it comes to modship on RS) who come out and denounce Jagex using mod-status as a tool, are shown to be representatives of the game, who are talking DOWN about it. Bad publicity does not help the cause (well, we say all publicity is good publicity, but lets face it, that's a load of crap). Now, if you want to get into the whole "HE'S NOT A REPRESENTATIVE" and "VOLUNTEERS DONT HAVE TO FOLLOW PARTY LINE THEY ARENT PAID" debates, go back in the thread. How many mods do we have that either:- a) Voice their distain in a more constructive way b) Flame jagex on a different account or, c) Don't mind the updates So, I guess, all that's left are the attention [bleep]?

More wasteful scaping today, been moseying around wasting xp and whatnot, still trying to figure out a new goal (which tonight I took steps towards rectifying). 2 Floors:- - ~40 minute F44 (Necro), 2 deaths for ~95k. It wasn't a kind floor, but that's life. - ~31 Abd2 (SkeleHoard) SurvProd for ~95k. Wingman'd for Kimbo, she did good, and I got lucky with paths. A little bit of confusion cost us a sub-30 but that's life. Perfect SkeleHoard by the team. 3-4 more floors, and I'll be able to upgrade to T10 blazer (with T10 zerk and T9 Gatherers already). Sitting 872k from 108. Got lucky with assists this evening, managed 30k farm. On top of this, planted/checked 8 maples (5 growing overnight), 1 yew and 6 paps (4 still growing) for another ~72.5k. 100k+xp for the day, which leaves me with:- 5 maples, 5 paps, 1 calquat and 2 spirits growing, meaning that I am in effect, 33k from 99. Hoping, hoping to have the cape this weekend. As for "new goals", using some of the earnings from the Sara Hilt split last night, I purchased:- - 150 mahogany planks, which with a morphic hammer will get me 82 construction - 2 pharoh sceptres. Seriously considering making a run at the thieving cape, but at the very least looking at punching through high amounts of xp and moving into a position of being able to do thieving effigies. 16 Peng points spent on prayer today, for 87. ~1.7mgp to buy 88 prayer/137 combat with dragon bones, sitting on the idea at the moment. That and the JOAT book for a total of 18kxp, and was by far, the most actual RC'ing I've done in months.

I do not recall whether I have posted in here before or not, but nonetheless, I like a mixture of floors. It really depends on who I'm with, what role I am taking and the general demeanor of the group. With friends, we skype, have 3-4 100+ers and I'm generally far more patient and willing to go 'slower' because we are showing our 4th-5th new techniques and are more inclined to assist them to SurvProd to make sure they get as much XP (outside level mod) as possible. I find our floors going into the 30s but because it's fun (we get along and generally have a laugh between calling doors/etc) the time flies. Within EoE, I have found it much easier as I've gotten more experience (read: time dung'ing not just "xp") with the keyers, pathing and learnt more tricks, I am able to SurvProd most of the faster floors ('speed' flooring when not using a benchmark such as DGS) without feeling much pressure. As keyer though, I really want to get through floors ASAP. It's added pressure and I probably dump that pressure on the rest and expect them to move and do better than sometimes they are 'able' to at the time, but I really don't want to be keying high 30s. I mean, I'd love to be keying at DGS-3BO'esque rates, but more importantly, I want to be dropping into the 20s and averaging in the 20s full stop. (Mind you, I get easily frustrated in this sort of situation). tl;dr: Depends who I am with.

I'm not the one making the decision, I'm the one standing here and - stupidly mind you - expecting people to calm down and think for a moment "hey, maybe, as a business, they only want people representing them who are spouting pro-Jagex sentiment, and that as soon as they turn to negativity, we willk have to silence them". Now, obviously they can't be silenced, so instead, they move to sever ties with the individual. It's SMART BUSINESS. [more business protection here]

Look at it this way, doing 4 steps and using the Dragonkin lamp on a level 98 skill (example) means that the effigy has given you ~135k xp (90k for the 3 steps, ~45k for the lamped 98). Now obviously not always a good move sticking it on the 98. It can be a pain though to hoard the effigies until you have the levels for them, especially if you are going hunting for them specifically, because you may find yourself banking enough to fill your bank before you get close to having the skills you need. Personally, I got assists to open mine where I needed it, more so early on, because the idea of that lampo just rotting in my bank annoyed me. But that's a personal thing and I wasn't too concerned with the ramifications re: "wasted xp". As for where to get them, I'd definitely agree with cannoning 138 Crawlers as a very good means for getting them. Personally though, I just slayed to get mine. I averaged an effigy every 3.2 tasks (~106.5k xp) over the span of 3.5m xp slayer xp. But the viability of this is not necessarily the same, as our task sets would be vastly different with the level difference, but as I was trying for slay cape and have no where near enough money to cannon crawlers, it worked for me. Also, keep this page in mind for any skill boosts you can use to open up effigies by yourself.

Did a DG on whatever the new DG world was, a 24 s/l TF for ~130k. 3 hexers = gf thunder. Couldn't find anymore DGs, did 20 minutes of agile, circus, now I'm hunting Mole with Steel Titan for some nests. No-one around to zammy/bandos with making it super sad. Got RDT drop of 150 Onxy Bolts (~1.2m) so all round a successful timekill whilst getting nests for the last herb level. - Colleced 4 days of kingdom today, raided nests for 2 mage seeds and a palm. 2 mage seeds bought 12 maples and the palm seed covered 3 papayas (dem tree runs). 17 maples, 3 yews, 1 calquat, 4 spirit trees in bank/growing at the moment, which will leave me 30k from 99 farm. Hnnng Left mole to go Sara. Inb4getsnothing.

And because my posts are prone to disappearing, here's why:- Whilst trading and items remain, there will be a way for people to scam, and stupid people to be scammed. At the end of the day, if you are going to baby people and try to prevent them being 'scammed' (exploitation of stupidity reppin'), go the whole way.
