I STRONGLY recommend atleast some sort of rfd gloves, i myself use Mithril gloves that give a pretty +6 attack bonus,and used to use Klanks gaunts from underground quest,good defense too :) also you said that a ring isn't a thing in your setup, alas you have a lot better odds of "rare" barrows armour with a Ring of wealth, or use a fremmenik ring for stat bonus(ring depends on attack type, seers for mages archer for well, archers and warrior/zerker) for the candy cane . Amulet spot is NEVER optional, always wear a charged glory :o #-o (or whatever you may desire, fure/ammy of magic if you'd like :thumbsup: Else overall really good guide, can't wait to see more pictures :D thanks for the good rating, as for the wealth, i read a few times that jagex said wearing it doesnt increase the chances, but who knows, right? :) as for the ammy spot ive added an unholy symbol, it reduces prayer point deletion by alot, giving a +8 prayer bonus for gloves ive done family crest (very easy quest) for the chaos gauntlets which give like +8 er so in 3 attack slots which is really nice alas since i wrote that guide many things have changed, as i m not cheap to buy the red since i have gotten em now :) and im using addy arrows as well for an upgrade just use the money from barrows to buy em is all :) but as for the ammy spot i nvr wore it when i was a noob and i nvr died w/o it, exc. first trip when i had a double dh tunnel spawn and ran out of prayer pots (bad luck, YAAAA) so anyways just wanted to update a lil on the guide oooooo almost forgot, i use a white gold mystic hat, does a lil less than coif in terms of bonuses, but looks really cool

well what i do is no prayer vs torag guthans and verac with 46 ppoints i use 2-3 doses per trip, ive heard many using no prayer vs ahrim as well, so id say do guthans torag and verac with a high lvl metal armor on without prayer, and ahrim with a high d hide armor on without prayer if u like these r what i use: fire blast/bolt mage bow w/ addy arrows stats: 66 mage 62 range 71 attack 73 str 68 def p.s. with my method of no pray vs those bros dont expect to have tons of food left i bring 17 monks per trip and only have 5-6 for the tunnel with about 1-2 monks left over with 20-25 kill count

43 prayer is extremely unnecessary, i did it easily w/o it, just bring a good share of lobsters er so

ok so im down in mort'ton killin shades for slayer and i see the loar remains, and i kno i need to burn those on a pyre for prayer so my question is can i note a ton of logs and use em noted on a funeral pyre? will that work? or do i need em unnoted then used on a pyre?

ok after 50 er so runs im now an experienced barrower and can tell u guys that i use only 1 ppot, sometimes even less, with 46 ppoints!! just dont pray vs guthans verac and torag while wearing rune armor and eating monkfish and ill have like 6 monks left for kc, which is enuff to get to 20 kc, which is really all u need for kc just gotta do barrows wisely, this guide is for "noobs" which i m not anymore : this guide will still be relevant to inexperienced players however as i have used it times b4 just wanted to update that once u get the feel of the game that ull be able to change some stuff up Happy Barrowing!

whats the best world and location for buying prayer potions?

well with using only 75 deaths and about 2.5-3 ppots the runes easily pay for this if u can supply the other stuff, the other stuff is really not that expensive, plus about 15 lobs, so if u fish ur own its simple i just dont pray vs. torag which keeps ppot usage down

ya and have it near the lava maze on the east side, maybe put some greaters and lessers, maybe hellhounds, guarding it good idea, i think im changing the altar location to there, kharazi doesnt seem to suit it very well, thanks for the input!

thx for support and suggestions, i want kind of an eerie place to put it Karamja wouldnt work bcuz of nature altar feldip hills doesnt have that eerie feeling uzer is still like only 2-3 mins from bank, i want something in the middle of no where trollweis is a good candidate so ill take that kharazi ill accept too, so good job keep the candidates for altar location coming!!

This thread was created to see if anyone besides myself would support the idea of runecrafting bloods. Before you guys, the viewers, trash this thread, hear me out, cause I got some good stuff to say. First you would need to do a really hard quest like Mournings End P. 2 for deaths. And the altar would be in a wierd type place (please post suggestions on where the altar should be). The runecrafting level for this would be around 85ish since deaths are like 64 i believe. Since most people I'm pretty sure aren't level 85, this would give them something to work for. The reason I made this is because the price of bloods is insane to me, 500 gp each!! And killing monsters for them just takes too long (i kill ankous and get a drop rarely every 10 minutes) The blood talisman could be dropped by a level 150+ monster, with only soloing it, no partners, and no prayer with 200+ hps(thanks master smither :)). It would be untradable. Like deaths, there would be no multiple runes per essence....... You might say that this would crash the economy of Runescape, but i dont know, this is purely just a throw-it-out-there type of suggestion. It may lower blood price, but who knows, right? Anywho, the bloods would obviously be restricted to members. So if it wouldnt be a burden, please post and tell me what you think, if i get enough supporters, maybe I'll contact Jagex.
