i don't remember people ever whining when there was ONLY f2p. It took just as much time and was as difficult as it is now, and no one said much about it. Why are there so many free players whining about free things? I don't think f2p players benefit anything. Some say they benefit the economy, and are a huge part of raw resources. I think this is false. I see many many p2p players gathering resources. I also do this and supply my own resources. If f2p players didn't gather all resources, then someone else will. I think a lot of f2p players are just looking to feel important somehow, thinking that you affect a video game's imaginary economy. WOOOOOOO.

Does anyone else remember when there was no wildy, where Pking was allowed everywhere, given that the player chose the option to pk? Those were pretty scary times. Clans were more powerful then, and literally ruled towns. You could just be mining somewhere, or doing whatever and a clan could come up and own you with no where to run.

I'm pretty sure I got pked in lumby or varrock

What discontinued items?? What does the United States, oil, apec/opec, the u.s. dollar have anything to do with Runescape?

Interesting idea, and I agree with this. It's pretty odd that a gold bar, or even a lobster would be kept over a phat. Though, another interesting idea, is that you don't die, thus you don't lose anything. I know its very frustrating when this happens, but in my opinion losing things is a consequence of a runescape death and a minor one at that. And as for dying with a rare on? I'd think anyone who put themself in a situation to risk death with a rare on is pretty stupid.

Why would Jagex purposefully update the game, just to piss people off? Obviously they aren't perfect. They are always trying to make the game better, and what they do won't please everyone. You can't please everyone, because everyone is going to have their own opinion and perspective. This game isn't going to stay the exact same, and if it did it would be very very boring. I'm sure all these updates you're all pissed off about will be updated again, and again, and changed. and then some..etc

The point of this forum is to discuss, hence the name General Discussion. All their doing is talking about what could possibly happen. Ot: Hadn't thought of this possibility, maybe there will be a way to report overpricing of items :-k there seems to be a thread on this every week about the same thing. It's getting really old

gee.. you think Jagex hasn't thought of this? It's not even out and you half-baked morons are scheming of ways of how you're going to fool Jagex and make some profit to get more imaginary gold pieces. How pathetic..

Can't think of anything specific, but probably just to survive, back when pvp was everywhere. I had switched back to pvp and regretted it later at the time. Then you only had a limited number of chances to switch between pking or no pking, and had run out of chances when i switched to pvp. Pretty crazy having to watch your back every single place you went.

who cares? No matter how much anyone speculates, theorizes, makes up rubbish it won't change what Jagex has in mind. Put an end to this and stop wasting your time. It'll be out in due time.
