I think at the very least they could use it as a means to break the curse or in some way progress the lore of Dahmaroc or the game in general. I hope for something, not just a little statue.

You get it at the completion of a full lap. Or in Brimhaven you'll get per 10 tickets.

I find coifs pretty good and combo them up with fletching maple longs to get the fletching and crafting rocks.

I actually find the RC rocks to be quite fast. The last two times I've obtained them have taken maybe 5-7 minutes each. When I do plain ole nature runecrafting I notice it takes me around 400-500 essences before I get it.

Actually we had moved on to the fact that I didn't have any pants. But on topic, anyone notice that the Runecrafting rocks still seem to take forever to get.

On topic, just another small little achievement that you can get when you spend loads of time on it. I'd say if you didn't grind for rock it would take at least a year to do it, providing you keep up members the entire time too.

Yews, that may be, but that content will be there forever and will be taking on people constantly and you need some to strive for. No one wants to do all the work to get piddling little cotent. If we have better high end content then maybe there might be a reason for high levels other than a little cape.

No one is saying to target the top 1%, but we expect the top 20 at the very least. Frankly, the high level players are sick of it because we keep hearing from them that we're going to get high level content and what we get is junk. A couple of new Implings? Woo hoo ...? The high level content so far this year has been shiz with a z. A BS, short Grandmaster quest, some implings, and other garbage. I want brand new, high level content like the Living Rock Caverns. I don't want it every week, but maybe something like that once every month or two. Until then they better knock off that "2010: Year of Awesomeness" crap real effing quicking.

There is one pretty simple solution. GTFO ... really. If you're not happy stop complaining all the time (YES I AM WATCHING YOU ... ALL OF YOU ... SILENTLY IN THE CORNER ... anyways back to .. >) it's getting old =/. Yes, the typical argument. Tell people to leave. I mean, it's better than actually devling into a subject and debating it's merits with someone. Anyway, on it's own, this update isn't bad. Considering the past few weeks, it's crap. 1) This. Meh 2) Shattered Heart, Constitution, Iron, Login. This stuff was good, but not much of on in game impact. I sill respect the work that went into the lobby system though. 3) Imps. Meh. 4) Familiarisation. Crap. 5) Strykes. Decent, but nothing to explain them. Just dumped. Good drops, but still felt lacking some other explanation for their existence. 6) Rune Mechanics. Meh. 7) Orb. Sucked 8) Agility stuff was fine, but BA is still yawn inducing. 9) Nomad. Was okay, but story lacked depth. So really, in my opinion, since Nomad with the exception of Stryke drops and the lobby changes, it's been junk lately. -edit- I don't expect super updates every week. I simply expect more than we've been getting. That's my opinion.

I've gotten spoiled and used to updates that are good. Clearly I should sit around and keep paying them sleep inducing updates. Like I said, year of awesomeness? I think not.

What are you talking about? Did you see the RSOF and the riots? I havn't had this much fun in rs since I was still fighting in organized clan wars. To me, it's just another much ado about nothing update.

Runescape is turning me into an old Jewish women. Every update is either Oy vey, Meh, or "I can't believe I stayed home for this."

Wasn't this update the one everyone thought was going to be a clan chat update? Everyone went mum on that. :P

Shattered Heart: Not sure, well see. Iron Ores: Making things easier for the low levels. Not too amazing, but nothing too bad. Runescape Lobby: Dunno, we'll see, but nothing that amazes me. Constitution: Dumb. Their blog doesn't change my opinion of it either. Being done to not discourage all the new players. Whatever. Pretty much what I thought it would be. Note, I'm not complaining. Just saying I'm underwhelmed.

People were trying to free up some cash to buy things for the weekend and were somewhat desperate and undersold them under their street value. I don't think it was a wide crash, just a mad dash for cash. (say that five times fast.) Anyway, they'll come back up after the weekend is up. Might take a couple of weeks, but nothing major.
