  1. A bit dumb to release a hint to a quest released two days prior though don't you think? Also, again my Mahjarrat quest that I asked Ali the Wise was snubbed. I'm getting a little tired of it. I keep asking him that if Khazard is the only Mahjarrat born on Gielinor, A) How exactly to Mahjarrats mate with one another and B) what is the birthing process like?
  2. Khzard was born on Gielinor and I believe is the only one to have done so. His mother was killed in battle. He was created after Zamorak banished Zaros. It was never revealed who his father was, but if I had to guess I'd say Hazeel due to it being mentioned that he took him under his "wing", not literal, and taught him. As Hazeel was said to be like a brother to Zamorak, that would explain why Khazard may be a Zamorak following Mahjarrat. Whether Khazard or Jhallan is weakest I don't know, but what we do know is that Jhallan is cowardly which to a Mahjarrat is a huge weakness.
  3. Yes, which is good considering that they also had a letter regarding the boat. I'm guessing that the barge takes us to the island and it involves a quest involving the Voids and the Temple Knights. Maybe.

    Frustration

Stand in Lumbridge world 1 for 5 minutes with public and private chats turned on and not shoot yourself in the face.
  5. It was 3 months since the last CE and not everything in it has come out yet. I think that's a little long and why I said they were more "impending."
  6. When was the last CE? Seems like a little while ago.
  7. If that's the case, I don't think we'll directly contront Lucien. Oh, and that battle in thw ild took place *before* Lucien even got the Stone of Jas so he's even more powerful.
  8. I don't think Lucien is after Zamorak. If anything I imagine he'd like to stab Saradomin or Guthix with the ole Staff of Armadyl.
  9. I think people take comfort in the idea that all the Mahjarrat are in the game in some form or another at this time. And knowing Jagex, that isn't that unlikely.
  10. Grandmaster quests should combine important storylines into themselves. They shouldn't be used to lead up to anything else. They should be the penultimate quest. This one had little, little plot, and what it did have came at the very end, not good at all.
  11. Ok.. but Lucien holds the Stone of Jas AND the Armadyl Staff. Wouldn't he be *extremely* powerful now? Like 10 x Nomad? :S Perhaps. It's difficult to tell. I mean Nomad was devouring souls. That seems like a pretty food power source. In any case, I don't think we'll see anybody as hard as Nomad in a while. At least not this year.
  12. Well, considering the stars and planet that alludes to the Ritual, the "kith and kin" comment that a Mahjarrat makes in the same PBFTE, the fact that they refer to them by another of their nicknames, aka The Stern Judge, if definitely means MOTM quest. Now whether or not it's time to stop Lucien is another issue altogether.
  13. Also, in terms of quest consistency... The Stone of Jas, an item likely able to both create and destroy a world was guarded by a level 434. Nomad is a level 699 and we have to kill him "just cause."
  14. Also in the same PBFTE Enahkra uses the phrase "kith and kin." More than one judge means probably the one who dies during the ritual then the somewhat likely death of Lucien. Of course it could be a slaughter of Zarosian and/or Zamorakian Mahjarrat. Sadly my quest to Azzanadra if more Mahjarrat were left in Freneskae or if Icthlarin brought them all was overlooked.
  15. Whether he tells you to go kill him or tells you to find out what is going on, I think the point is that this quest has no storyline. She's right -- it's not a real quest. Frankly, you could say the same thing about nearly half of the other "quests". True, but quests have been getting better and better over the years. Most of those lacking on story tend to be a little older. "A Soul's Bane" comes to mind... Also that said I guess I hold higher standards for Grandmaster quests.
  16. Qeltar has a point as well. Whether they would've made him harder or not the Quest Cape should not have had any impact on the designing of quests, the same way Skill Capes have no impact on the designing of skills. Getting too wrapped up into stuff like that is why F2P didn't get skill capes.
  17. I do wish CE letters gave us clues to updates that are a little more, shall we say, impending?
  18. You want strong bosses? Fine. Just keep them out of quests. Give them drops, make them team stuff, whatever. I like to quest for stories, not stuff like an Imp telling me I gotta defeat him. Anyone else have an issue with that plothole? Does anything else thinks it's dumb the reasons for us fighting him? Just a vague idea of good and evil and an Imp telling us to?
  19. Mostly cause of his graphical update, The CE talking about him, etc. Oh, and because people think Koschei is Kharshai and the Strange Old Man is Sliske, that would make Bilrach the only Mahjarrat not in the game and people think that Bilrach is in the game somewhere, so it's that. Oh and Lucien may or may not have formed an alliance with Zamouregal, so the hierarchy level is Bilrach/Nomad < Zamouregal < Lucien.
  20. A lot of talk is about Nomad's difficulty? That's another topic for another thread. I have another point to make. People take Nomad as example of monsters that will be even harder to do in the future. Again, that may be true. This is to clear up something I wanted people to take note of. "Bilrach is of Average power." Many people think that Bilrach is Nomad. Now the discussion is that if Bilrach is of "normal power" imagine how hard Lucien is going to be. Why do you assume that? Clearly one of the story points, technically it may have been the only point in the thin plot, is that Nomad was powering himself up. People speculate he was doing it to chalenge Lucien. Well, if this is the case, Nomad/Bilrach wouldn't have been of "average power" anymore. He would've been a great deal stronger. Perhaps Lucien isn't as tough as him?
  21. Smelly maybe the first one was rejected because his name was Cyrisus and that doesn't sound right? Third one was good though.
  22. Awww poor you.. Lol yes, poor me. I'm a girl and can't handle the pressure right? Or maybe I'm just annoyed at condescending children who gain their self-worth and self-respect off what they can achieve on an online game. In any case, I'm not worrying about it anymore. People know my opinion and I have many agree, I also have many that attack my making of criticisms rather than the criticism itself. So to you, them, and this quest, you can all get the single finger salute. I have to work now and do something constructive in this world. You know, I'm starting to think freedom of speech is unjust. You know, I'm starting to think people who don't like me should put me on Ignore and leave it at that. It's about superiority. People who've done it like to feel superior over the people who haven't. I think that is the basis for all the "Don't nerf Nomad" stuff on the RSOF. I also think all the people around here "falling on their swords" for Jagex is hillarious. They will never admit that it's possible they made an error. I also want to point this out. Because I believed them when they said GM quest swere gonna be long and have gradniose plots I'm gullible, but when people believe what they say about a GM quest and that a tough boss battle makes it worthy of a GM quest, that is ...? Well, I haven't completed it, and not even planning to as I'm a skiller, yet I can relate to their feelings. It's not that superiority crap, it's the sense of unfairness. Some have invested millions on supplies, when they could just wait one week for it to be nerfed? And only waste 80K? "They get to fight an easier boss just because they complained it's too hard? And what of the challenge? If I beat it with X levels and X recources, why can't they?" Other than that, I've had more than little experience with RuneScape quests and the one thing I learned about boss fights is that 90% of them could be beaten with minimum effort & with the same strategy. The other 10% (excluding Nomad) would only need slight adjustments. I think Nomad has brought something new to the game. Puzzles are not the only thinker quests have anymore. New? Like more luck than your typical quest boss? And no, it's not crap. maybe it's different on here, but certainly on the RSOF it's clearly all about feeling superior to people. And if you payed millions to complete it in the first week that would be your issue, not anyone elses. Kinda like how people used to buy brand new items for millions before they settled down.
  23. Thank god something else to talk about. Oh and to make it easier for some people. The letter to the CE: Dear elemental I have wondered, it is, implied that for everythhing, there is an opposite, so what your opposie, the peace elemental perhaps? Also, do you ever leave that wilderness, or perhaps have a sort of "shadow realm" of your own? What about your religion, Zamaroak, Guthix, Bandos, or perhaps another different being never heard of in human culture? Feel free to add any other detalis that will help me learn about your kind. -edit- It appears Crandor was more of a floating trade market of a city, explains why it was so easy to destroy and why that island was so little.
  24. Not crying. Just talking. I have issues with this quest on many levels as I do with a good number of their updates. I'm also pointing out the insipid reasons for why I'm being verbally abused on here. I mean, if I wanted to go your route, maybe I could say. "God, it must smell terrible with your nose up Jagex's [wagon].
  25. Nope, I was thinking something along the line of "Elite Level Mini-quest." I think that's what it is. That's what it felt like to me. A suped up Tarn's Lair. And had it been something like that, I'm cool with it. It also has little to do with not having a quest cape anymore. What you must understand is that I love quests. They are my favorite thing on Runescape. So I'll freely admit to holding them to high standards, and GM quests I would hold to higher standards then that. We can go back and forth on the boss fight. I'll even relax a little on the quest length, but what you must give me is that GM quests are something that should be lead up to with smaller quests. They should be the culmination of story arcs and plots. They shouldn't be another type of quest that leads up to something bigger.
