Who remembers this !?
If you'd read the thread Cdub, you could read all the reasons why this particular aspect of the game was better than it was now. You just don't like not being a part of a group of people who could appreciate it. The community of RSC > The community of RS2.

censoring the word noob (and other words) discussion
It was censored for a short while within the past year. Maybe for like 2 weeks. Then they uncensored it. Meaning they did it, it got so much negative feedback, they gave it back.

Hit higher on the KQ
If you don't wear Verac's Helm, it's ability won't work. So it would be better to just use Something else if you're gonna wear the mask.

Gnomic Gnowledge Quest
Gnomic Gnowledge Quest Overview: The Gnomes have been living on the surface for my years now, this after years of living underground. Only recently had they discovered the location of one of their old habitats. This one they believe lost in a tremendous earthquake. Gnomes speak that it had contained the most extensive library, greatly sought after for its knowledge. Quests required: Rune Mysteries, Fight Arena, Watchtower Quest, The grand Tree Quest, and A Spot of Work http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=493975&sid=4f36e844136a20d6f68ab4684e91ce45 Skill Levels Required: 42 Construction, 50 Mining, and 50 Strength, and the ability to defeat a level 138 Khazard Defender. Items Required: Rune Pickaxe, Spade, 15 Regular Logs, Warhammer (steel or above), Saw, Hammer, 100+ nails (Iron or above), 12 Gold Bars, 5 steel Bars, 5 Mahogany Planks, 4 Cloth Quest Difficulty: Experienced Quest Length: Intermediate/Long Quest Start Point: Head Medic Part One: Defeating the Khazard Defender 1) Talk to Head Medic: Head Medic: Oh I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m so glad you came back. You: Really? I had heard you have discovered something and might need a bit more help. HM: Yes we have. Well you see, during the fight a few gnome mages sneaked into the small hole. You: And what did they find? HM: They didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t find anything actually. They went down there to establish a portal so that we could have a way in there without using the cave entrance. You: Okay, well that sounds like a good idea. HM: There̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a problem. One of the Khazard̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s top defenders discovered it and we had to retreat. He sent off a messenger, but we caught in en route. We need you to defeat him before he can send word to his superiors. When you do, bring us something back so we can send the mages to reopen the portal. HM: So can you take care of it? You: Yes, yes. Nothing too out of the ordinary for me. 2) From the Eastern Side of the Island, you must now walk south to a small peninsula on the southern part of the island. There is a small shack on the peninsula with the Khazard Defender standing in front of it, and two level 24 Khazard Guards flanking him. 3) Talk to the Defender to ask him why he̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s standing there. Khazard Defender: What do you want you little brat? You: I was going to ask you why you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re standing there. KD: I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m here to stop those pesky gnomes from using their little portal. You: Then I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m here to get rid of you so they can use their portal. KD: Arrrgghh! 4) You must now kill the Khazard Defender. He uses both mage and ranged attacks and can hot up to 15 with each. His mage attack is like a black ball rolling at you. It can lower your defense and lower you mage level. His ranged attacks are bars that shoot from [bleep]ed helmet. They can poison you and the poison hits you for 5 at normal poison rate. His two Guards also attack you and just use melee. They can hit for 4. They aren̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t much of a threat, but must be killed too. 5) Once you kill him, his barbed helmet will appear in your inventory. You will then have a small conversation to yourself You: I should take this back to the Head Medic so he can send the mages to reopen the portal. 6) Return to the Head Medic and use the Barbed Helmet on him so he can see you have killed Denfender HM: Oh that looks like the helmet the Defender wore. You: Err̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s because it is. HM: Good. Now we can have the portal opened again. 7) A cutscene will now play showing three level 1 Gnome Mages casting a yellow, star-shaped spell on the portal. You will see the portal appear and start glowing. Afterwards, the Head Medic will send you on the second part of the quest. 8) Talk to the Head Medic again. You: Okay, the portal is open again. Sounds like a job well done. HM: Actually, there̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s another problem. You: And what is that? HM: Well you see the portal leads to a tunnel. And the tunnel leads to an ancient library. You: Okay̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ HM: The books in there are written in an ancient language, and the only people who can read and translate it are the Elder Gnomes. HM: The Elder Gnomes as their names suggest are rather old and not quite as agile as they use to be. You: What does that mean? HM: The tunnel is old and ridden with many obstacles. We need them to be cleared so the Elder Gnomes can get there. You: Okay, I think I understand. HM: Some of our younger scouts were able to make it through the tunnel and have reported that it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s one way and there̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s no dangerous monsters or any of the like. It just needs to be cleared. HM: And if you could, they made some rudimentary pillars to hold it up. You might want to sturdy them up a bit if you want to get further. You: Okay, I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll get to work on it now I guess. Part Two: Clearing the Tunnel 9) Now return to Hazelmere̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Island using the docks east of the Aid Station. Head to Yanille bank and withdraw your pickaxe, spade, warhammer, saw, hammer, nails, and 15 regular logs. 10) Go back to the island via the docks on Hazelmere̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Island. Walk along the southern shore until you come to the peninsula again. The three mages are hanging by the door and allow you to open it. Once you open it, step into the portal. 11) The tunnel is separate into 6 different lengths. Each of these are separated by the pillars that you must sturdy up before entering the next part of the tunnel. 12) You will step into the first room. It will be filled with large mounds of dirt, big boulders, and old, rotted wooden defenses. Each one must be removed in their own way, and each can be failed as well. Dirt Mound: Simply use your spade on these. You can fail by getting dirt in your eyes which will hit you for 2 hp. Big Boulder: This is to use your Rune Pickaxe on. You can mis-hit it and be hit for 2 and lose a mining level. When you break it, use your spade on it to clean the rubble. This can be failed and will get gravel in your eyes and will be hit for 3 Rotted Defenses: Use your steel warhammer to smash them to bits. This cannot be failed, but while doing it, wood splinters can hit your face and hit you for 5. 13) You must clear the room of all obstacles. After you are done, go to the pillar and click the ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅSturdy̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Trading from bank inventory.
It was being discussed back when they were switching over from RSC. They didn't want the hassle and the scamming that came about with certs. But instead they decided to go ahead and do what they do with bank notes. And I think it works pretty well.

An addition to cooking: Sushi
Facts are wrong? Facts are wrong?? It was a joke about Zammy lovin' up the sheep. Where the heck are facts meant to be considered here? I swear some people... #-o

An addition to cooking: Sushi
Mmmkay, guess someone didn't get my joke about Zammy engaging in unnatural acts with a sheep. :-w

An addition to cooking: Sushi
If you knew what Zamorak used to do to the sheeps out back on the farm you'd know why Guthix protects them now. :P

if you can cast it you can make it (f2p support!)
Yes, but we must not question Jagex or their reasons for doing the dumb things they do. Simply questioning their logic results in a spiteful ban.

An addition to cooking: Sushi
Not to go off-topic, and any people of the Jewish or Isliamic faith please skip this, but I want pork dangit!!! Those pigs have been in Draynor since June of 2005 and I haven't been able to kill one yet. Porkchops.. \ :anxious:

An addition to cooking: Sushi
Yeah exactly, plus this food would be awesome like when you're thieving. Things when time doesn't matter so much. And I would like to point out crabmeat. 5 bites that heal 2 hp each? Like that's needed in this game?
-
An addition to cooking: Sushi
I know, and it's all good. But you see, so many suggestions people make are better slightly better than everything that already exists in the game. Mine isn't. It's not meant to be the preferred food or food needed to be used most often by training. It's just a fun little thing I came up with. Maybe you could do Raw Fish, maybe requires a lower lvl than that actual fish cost to cook, and heals less? Otherwise, I don't care much. Anyone who wants to take this and build it into something bigger and better can feel free.
-
An addition to cooking: Sushi
I know people usually think of raw fish when eating sushi, but if you guys knew more about cooking, you'd know that sushi is named for the rice, not the fish in it. You could also do vegetarian sushis, but bleah. And cooking the fish adds like half the cooking experience to it. And as for Pkers not using it, boo hoo. :boohoo: I don't PK and none of my suggestions have pkers in mind. Now go hang around the deserted outkeep and kill some people trying to do clues.

"A Spot of Work" quest
Plus I wrote it around 2 am with no sleep.

POH: While the owner's away, people can't play.
It would also be great if you could boot individual people. I get a lot of troublemakers and it would be nice to kick them out and not everyone with them.

if you can cast it you can make it (f2p support!)
I'd give the F2Pers the ability to craft chaos runes. Not any real reason not to.

World Map Update - what do you think?
If you want to know how they can make it awesome, make that contintent the lands to the far east that Ak Haranu in Port Phays talks about. Then it's connected and RS has finally become a globe! Now granted this will seemingly halt growth to any new, big lands that RS wants to come with in the distant future, but it is very far away. They'll have more than enough room to do a lot for a while. And then maybe they can come up with some place to put below ground and possible below water. i.e. Keldagrim and TZ-Hazaar. Those place can be huge, but since they are on a different lvl, all they take up on the world map is a single !. :D Then after that, maybe we go up? Or perhaps we can visit the other plane that is Frenaskae?

An addition to cooking: Sushi
Addition to Cooking: Sushi What with the Eastern Lands that will be opening soon, I thought maybe when you get there, someone can teach you about how to make sushi. Items: In order to make sushi, you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re gonna need a few things to complete it from start to finish. Rice, seaweed, a bowl of water, a knife, a fish, and a bamboo sushi mat. Now the knife, bowl, and seaweed is self explanatory on how to get. 1) Rice Now rice is an essential part to making sushi and it will be quiet easy to prepare. Rice can be obtained by picking it from rice patties the same way grain is gotten from wheat fields. 2) Fish There are many ways to get the fish and you can find out how to get them. My sushi is going to include the fishes: shrimp, pike, salmon, tuna, swordfish, and shark. 3) Bamboo Sushi Mat In order to make one of these, you must cut some cut some bamboo shoots from a bamboo tree. Then use your knife on the bamboo shoots. Then use a ball of string on it to make your own bamboo sushi mat. Making Sushi: First use your rice on a bowl of water. Cook the Raw Rice on a fire or range and you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll have Cooked Rice. Then use the cooked fish on the Cooked Rice while having a knife in your inventory. You̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll know have ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅCooked Rice with Tuna,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

World Map Update - what do you think?
Well, they've removed the green bit west of Tirannwn, but there's an island there now with a smaller island next to it. Also, it would be nice if that area south of Piscatoris was home to the Moon Clan. It would bring that whole area together and complete it. Maybe that big quest you speak of will occur in that rocky area between the area and Priffdinas. Not much there now.

Blame Global Warming
Plus, aren't they now referring to it as "climate change?" But nah, it's man causing the world to get hotter. Although their is actual proof that the sun is hotter now than it has been for 100 years. But no, that couldn't be why it's getting hotter...

Magic Update ?
If summoning is introduced as part of the magic skill, body runes would be a seamless addition to that update. If you're summoning a body of some type, why not use body runes?
