  1. We can't, but clearly someone else was able to. Maybe this is what happens when NPCs get bored of talking to 10 year old players? They trim and bless armor, then bury it in the ground.
  2. I doubt it means Sliske when it talks about delving into the shadows because I think Sliske having to do with the Barrows brothers is probably still in Morytania and I bet will have something to do with the Myreque storyline.
  3. Well, never walk away from your computer on a pvp world. Safe zone or not that should be a given. Secondly, don't wear what you're not prepared to lose. That goes back to the very fundamentals of the Wild. So um... "Too bad. So sad. It's a sad, sad situation."
  4. Whoever realized that by adding little color trims on existing armor he could make a buttload of cash and then move to some tropical island. Speaking of which, whatever happened to Thrander? lol
  5. Being at the base of a God War is not something to go over lightly. I want an NPC to take some course of action that destroys the lives of thousands and when he realizes this says, "Oh damn. My bad."
  6. Unlike common belief, clan merchants undertake a great risk when engaged in their activity. Consider this scenario, your clan just told everyone to buy all the whips you possibly can at max price. You spend 160m on whips and now own 100 whips (which is always fun because hey, who doesn't want 100 whips right? =P). After 3 days, your clan issue the item dumping command. You are currently in class listening to your favorite Geology teacher talking about why studying rocks are awesome. An hour after class, you get to your computer, see the dump item command and rushes to the GE. Whips are now 2m each and you are happy that you made 40m. You click to sell, and in horror you see that no one is buying your whips. You now offer at min price thinking making 30m isn't that bad, still no one is buying. You look in your clan chat to see 20 people already finished dumping whips along with 15 other people dumping at min. All of a sudden, you own 100 items that are about to undergo a giant crash. That is the risk of a merchant clan and perhaps their greatest nightmare. Another example of why going to school is for losers. But seriously, that is the risk you take. And I don't know about you, but reading this makes me think maybe Martha Stewart is at it again, but this time as the head of a Runescape Price Manipulating Clan! Gasp. Let's sue her and make her give everyone 500m RS monies. -brings out the pitchforks and torches- If we're going to do that, we should buy up all the pitchforks and torches, then sell them to the mob at a greatly increased price and make ourselves a buttload of money. Or am I missing the point of the thread?
  7. So he regrets removing Zaros and giving Zamorak the opportunity to fill in the power vacuum left and Zammy's presence has a worse impact on the world in effect? Ever notice how many NPCs whine? I knew most of the players were 12 year olds, but didn't know the characters in-game were too.
  8. Yeah and then maybe the symbol on it could be you leaping over a fishing spot with a harpoon in your hand to imply the jumping of the shark that has happened with capes?
  9. And as it blesses both holy and unholy, it lies in the middle of it all, keeping the Balance. Kinda annoying huh?
  10. On the world. Give me a sec and I'll get the transcript. I'm sure he can't be all that happy to what happened to him as well. :wall:

  12. I personally find the whole thing to be morally wrong, but to them, their ends justify their means.
  13. He regrets the outcome of his actions on the world or he regrets his actions on his own personal outcome?
  14. I get exactly the same thing. And you hardly ever see anyone go "Nice 23 man" I only see these nice hit remarks when people make the hits themselves... And it's even worse when they do this in the thrid person. "Did you see the sweet 23 Jimmy just hit?" Blatant Seinfeld reference BTW.
  15. I personally think that capes have been push to their limits. A lot of things have to be quite honest. A new armor spot might not be a half bad reward. Maybe the ability to wear a piece of extra jewelry or so forth? Boots and shields still have quite a lot of space to do things with them.
  16. He gave away a small part of that quest. An important part yes, but not enough to completely spoil it nor the actual climax of the quest, so meh.
  17. Well it appears to some extent that at the time, Saradomin and Zamorak teamed up for a short while to not only defeat Zaros, but for a short time after to do everything in their power to erase any memory of his existence.
  18. Jagex got the wrap about not caring for customers mostly I believe foe the end half of 2005, 2006, and a good part of 2007. They made a few big blunders, some mistakes, and did very little to rectify their issues short of just correcting the mistake. They never made any apologies or restitutions, and many time refused to even admit there was a problem, let alone they made a mistake. They made quite a few unjustified bannings. But the biggest problem was they had *terrible* customer service to do anything. I think it was such a small part of their company for such a large thing that no one got any form of satisfying results. You didn't even get the closure of them telling you to "piss off." Just endless automated messages. They're gotten much better, but the stigma still remains.
  19. Probably another realm. Porbably were banished to Frenskae for some reason. And after how long they've been gone, when they come back, they're gonna be pissy.
  20. I think the capes would be cloth with bits of metal interwoven into them. Kind of a mesh, or maybe they could be made like chainmail, but only in the shape of a cape.
  21. Yeah, guess these trying to overcompensate for a giant blunder they made. In the past there giant blunders was to vaguely admit it, then never mention it again. People who died in Falador didn't even get a single GP back let alone some free membership.
  22. Yeah, I think it'll only have 2 parts and won't focus on the Mourner's so much, but whoever is sending them. We go into the Elven city to investigate. And probably die. Whatever.
  23. By your logic, you have no right to complain about "people boo hooing about slayer exp" because you are not one of them. Also, according to your logic, citizens of a country have no right to vote for their leader unless they have already been the leader of a country. No, actually I think his point is that people complaing about it and have only played RS2 have little room to stand compared to someone who played RSC and remembers the horror that was trying to levels on there.
  24. Jagex aren't stupid. A bit lazy from time to time I think, but not stupid. For the past two increments of 50 for quests go, they gave us something special. They know that we're counting on this. And you better believe they pay attention to their own and their fansite's forums. I don't think they'd just real some pile of crap for a 150th quest. Realizing our expectations, that would just be a giant finger to all their players.
  25. Yeah and I wasn't really dumped. She asked me if I would go with her, but I live in Florida and she wanted me to move to Try, New York. She's a great girl and all, but I wasn't freezing off my testes for her. So she left. I really want Jagex to release better stuff. It still feels like filler to me. I would rather keep the 2 decent to good updates a month than going back to the 4 crap ones with the occasional gem that they were doing in years previous to that. I mean "A Sould's Bane." Seriously? Someone thought that was worth the time of coding? #-o
