  1. That's cause he'll do it on purpose. I wanted someone to do it by accident then say that. I swear it would be RS gold.
  2. Cold war wouldn't be too bad, but seriously, for 150 it really should be something. And the opening up of Elven city would really deliver.
  3. That and super high lvls needed for a short quest makes it... meh.
  4. These are just a few things I personally think wouldn't be such a bad idea to add in-game to Runescape. Firstly, a few foods. At lvl 17, you can add rice that you pick from a paddy to a bowl of water. Cook the rice over a range until the water is gone and you're left with cooked rice. Heals 6. Add either beef , shrimp, or chicken with it at lvl 31 and it heals 9. At lvl 52 add some cooked lobster for "Lobster Rice" that heals 15. Also, at lvl 16 you can use a bowl of hot water, add either cooked chciken or beef, cook it over a ranged, and you have beef or chicken soup. At lvl 36, Take a bowl of water and add some cooked shrimp and a cooked trout along with a raw potato. Cook it over a ranged and you get a seafood stew that heals 11. At lvl 54, take a bowl of water and along with adding a cooked pike, tuna, and raw potato and cooking it over heat, you get a fish stew that heal 18. Also, adding a very good bit of food in game, at lvl 70 you can use a bucket on a goat by Edgar's, use on a churcn and make some goat cheese. Then use a pot of spice from Ardougne on a tomato to make a spicy tomato. Add both of these to a pizza base to make an exotic pizza. With this, add some cooked Ugthanki meat to make an Exquisite Pizza that heals 24. 12 hp her half. Also, hopefully they'll be add more to the desert soon. According to Jagex, Sophanem and Menaphos are in the middle of the desert and their is more south. I know we have the water tiara now, but I think it would be good too to add some other methods for carrying water. More than just 4 portions. So at lvl 21 smithing you can make a small canteen out of an iron bar that hold 5 portions of water. At lvl 29 smithing you can make a large canteen that'll holds 8 portions of water using 2 bars of iron. You can do the same by making a small gourd to hold yur water out of a piece of soft leather at lvl 21 crafting that hold 5 portions. At lvl 29 crafting and with two pieces of soft leather, you can make a large gourd. With these things made, if you use a piece of soft leather on them while in your inventory and while also having a needle, thread, and knife, you can add a strap to them that you can wield in your shield position saving you an inventory space. Now yeah, these things aren't overpowered or all that interesting, and probably not really necessary, but I think it's the little things that help this game.
  5. I could really care less one way or another, but since addy c-bows already used a mahogany stock and runite uses a yew stock, logically the dragoc crossbow should use a stock made from a magic log.
  6. Yeah, high lvl quests are a great idea, but to go through the hassle of designing and coding it, you gotta make sure that a worthwile number of people can do the quest. Hence your 96 firemaking is just a tad out of step. And by a tad, I mean a giant leap from reality. Bring it down 15 or 20 lvls. 81 is pretty high, but still do able. Also drop the agility one about 5 levels too.
  7. We can't, but clearly someone else was able to. Maybe this is what happens when NPCs get bored of talking to 10 year old players? They trim and bless armor, then bury it in the ground.
  8. I doubt it means Sliske when it talks about delving into the shadows because I think Sliske having to do with the Barrows brothers is probably still in Morytania and I bet will have something to do with the Myreque storyline.
  9. Well, never walk away from your computer on a pvp world. Safe zone or not that should be a given. Secondly, don't wear what you're not prepared to lose. That goes back to the very fundamentals of the Wild. So um... "Too bad. So sad. It's a sad, sad situation."
  10. Whoever realized that by adding little color trims on existing armor he could make a buttload of cash and then move to some tropical island. Speaking of which, whatever happened to Thrander? lol
  11. Being at the base of a God War is not something to go over lightly. I want an NPC to take some course of action that destroys the lives of thousands and when he realizes this says, "Oh damn. My bad."
  12. Unlike common belief, clan merchants undertake a great risk when engaged in their activity. Consider this scenario, your clan just told everyone to buy all the whips you possibly can at max price. You spend 160m on whips and now own 100 whips (which is always fun because hey, who doesn't want 100 whips right? =P). After 3 days, your clan issue the item dumping command. You are currently in class listening to your favorite Geology teacher talking about why studying rocks are awesome. An hour after class, you get to your computer, see the dump item command and rushes to the GE. Whips are now 2m each and you are happy that you made 40m. You click to sell, and in horror you see that no one is buying your whips. You now offer at min price thinking making 30m isn't that bad, still no one is buying. You look in your clan chat to see 20 people already finished dumping whips along with 15 other people dumping at min. All of a sudden, you own 100 items that are about to undergo a giant crash. That is the risk of a merchant clan and perhaps their greatest nightmare. Another example of why going to school is for losers. But seriously, that is the risk you take. And I don't know about you, but reading this makes me think maybe Martha Stewart is at it again, but this time as the head of a Runescape Price Manipulating Clan! Gasp. Let's sue her and make her give everyone 500m RS monies. -brings out the pitchforks and torches- If we're going to do that, we should buy up all the pitchforks and torches, then sell them to the mob at a greatly increased price and make ourselves a buttload of money. Or am I missing the point of the thread?
  13. So he regrets removing Zaros and giving Zamorak the opportunity to fill in the power vacuum left and Zammy's presence has a worse impact on the world in effect? Ever notice how many NPCs whine? I knew most of the players were 12 year olds, but didn't know the characters in-game were too.
  14. Yeah and then maybe the symbol on it could be you leaping over a fishing spot with a harpoon in your hand to imply the jumping of the shark that has happened with capes?
  15. And as it blesses both holy and unholy, it lies in the middle of it all, keeping the Balance. Kinda annoying huh?
  16. On the world. Give me a sec and I'll get the transcript. I'm sure he can't be all that happy to what happened to him as well. :wall:

  18. I personally find the whole thing to be morally wrong, but to them, their ends justify their means.
  19. He regrets the outcome of his actions on the world or he regrets his actions on his own personal outcome?
  20. I get exactly the same thing. And you hardly ever see anyone go "Nice 23 man" I only see these nice hit remarks when people make the hits themselves... And it's even worse when they do this in the thrid person. "Did you see the sweet 23 Jimmy just hit?" Blatant Seinfeld reference BTW.
  21. I personally think that capes have been push to their limits. A lot of things have to be quite honest. A new armor spot might not be a half bad reward. Maybe the ability to wear a piece of extra jewelry or so forth? Boots and shields still have quite a lot of space to do things with them.
  22. He gave away a small part of that quest. An important part yes, but not enough to completely spoil it nor the actual climax of the quest, so meh.
  23. Well it appears to some extent that at the time, Saradomin and Zamorak teamed up for a short while to not only defeat Zaros, but for a short time after to do everything in their power to erase any memory of his existence.
  24. Jagex got the wrap about not caring for customers mostly I believe foe the end half of 2005, 2006, and a good part of 2007. They made a few big blunders, some mistakes, and did very little to rectify their issues short of just correcting the mistake. They never made any apologies or restitutions, and many time refused to even admit there was a problem, let alone they made a mistake. They made quite a few unjustified bannings. But the biggest problem was they had *terrible* customer service to do anything. I think it was such a small part of their company for such a large thing that no one got any form of satisfying results. You didn't even get the closure of them telling you to "piss off." Just endless automated messages. They're gotten much better, but the stigma still remains.
  25. Probably another realm. Porbably were banished to Frenskae for some reason. And after how long they've been gone, when they come back, they're gonna be pissy.
