Actually, I can't remember exactly where, but they did mention a few times that they had something big planned for 150 and they were all looking forward to it. It got botched, and we got something instead to hold us over and stop people complaining for a week or two. It happens.

Based on an aribitrary number that for some inane reason society sets on us and we follow blindly. On another note, happy 50th anniversary to my grandparents. And Grandpa, if you pull a "Jagex" and give Grandma and crappy gift when she was expecting jewelry, she'll shoot you. :lol:

Yeah, it is sad. I mean, I don't PK, but I at least look at the act of it as being neutral, but to PJ drags it down to weakness.

If you count all quests, excluding Learning the Ropes, you will find that it was the 150th quest. However, it appearantly wasn't the planned 150th quest. Yeah, that's lame too... :wall:

Yes, I was disappointed with the quest and I do find it a little irritating that they weren't able to fix number 150 within a reasonable time frame. But if it's true that they have 151 done, which is very likely to be an Easter quest, and Chosen Commander wasn't 151, do you know what it means? Jagex has some back-up emergency content that they can release when they need to. This is something I was praying they would do if they had to. I hope they keep this idea around for a while. So good job. :thumbup: Though, if I'm honest, if they had all these problems with 150, I really wish they would've released it a week sooner. :pray:

I was making a bluff? I think I used the word plausible as something that could happen or could be a reason for their actions. I never intended to imply that this is what had happened or anything like that. If you took it that way, it wasn't how I meant it. It was mostly in jest. That's what I do. Screw around. I have to say that I completly agree with this. When faced failure, people like him will resort to flaming and extreme generalization to "win" their arguments. No it's my fault for having even gotten into this thred with someone I knew I'd have an opposing viewpoint from. He missed my point over and over, but whatever. Incorrect, they stated that the higher total levels, and the more you complete, the better the items you are offered would be. :/ And to qoute "When you successfully complete a random event you will now be given a random event gift box, which will contain a selection of rewards to choose from. The reward options are randomised, but players with higher skill totals will generally be offered better rewards, especially if they have a record of passing random events." I stand corrected. #-o

Also, you mentioned that they should just release updates when they're completely, 100% ready. Is that not the entire point of getting rid of the BTS? So they can do just that? So what's your point? Let's pinpoint exactly why you play this game so we can figure out why you feel that Jagex is out to get you. I was lampooning them actually. It was a joke. They did both come into power around the same time. On another note, no, I don't like Obama, but still, take a joke. As far as the BTS, if the thing is a 100% done before it's mentioned in the BTS, there would be no rush to completion to get it out in time because they decided to announce it before it was ready to roll. If you finish all of your content for March, by the end of January, then you could have it ready to go on March, and be rushing your developers. That way, you could still have a BTS without the development team jumping out of the windows. As far as why I play, mostly out of habit. And I play for skills, combats, quests, and single-way minigames. I'm not that foind of team-based minigames. I also don't PVP, Boss Hunt, etc. Not that those are bad, but not my interest. It's not that I hate or dislike or think they're wronging me personally. I don't trust them. I base this on their past actions for the most part. If this MMG wants to change it, cool. I will not however take him at his word this early on. I still remain skeptical of the things they say. I will not fall to my knees and worship him like so many other players. For example, maybe they aren't as financially sound as they make themsleves out to be. Maybe Iddison left because they couldn't meet his demands for pay? Maybe they had layoffs. Maybe the content and development team isn't as big as it use to be. Maybe this is why they're doing upgrades for a year? Updates that take a lot less time than content. Maybe this is why they had more issues with their updates and had so many bugs because their QA department had been slashed? And maybe this explains why said easier content to make isn't be released nearly often enough? I'm not saying this has happened, but I think it's a plausible enough scenario to explain this new "directions" of theirs.

I never really thought it would be. I wanted something about equal to it. And if it's not, I personally would've held off WGS to have been number 150, if possible, which it may not have been.

Probably mine was getting PKed on Red Dragon Isle in wild on classic, but not left licking the gate, hitting some guy, was a whole clan on me btw, but getting skulled, dieing, and losing my drag med, worth about 2.5 mill at the time. I was sad.

And I have issues with their actions past and present and forgive me for not falling to my knees like the rest of you over this new guy.
