Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Psycho_Robot's topic in General Discussion
The Ritual will happen and Lucien and many Zammy Mahjarrat will be the ones sacrificed and Zaros will steal this power that Lucien was going to use to achieve godhood and regain his own godhood. Thus the Zaros Mahjarrat and Zaros will leave. Then the Dragonkin will show up and retrieve the Stone of Jas. -
i think ne of the reasons why they're tormented is because they are demons that have been corrupted from some sort of other thing. Perhaps Lucien binds the demons with dragon equipment shards?
-
Actually, that was built over the existing Zarosian ruins to help and try to bury the history of what was there.

I think it's going to be shown soon enough that the *only* way for a Mahjarrat to truly die is to have his/her energy dispersed in The Ritual. Or if there are other ways, perhaps thoe. Certainly not from being mortally wounded by a bunch of clay golems.

28th April 2009 - Summoning Upgrade and Hairstyles
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Juhnie's topic in General Discussion
Pets would be great at some noncombat stuff. I'd love to have my Sara Owl be able to do some long distance views and could imagine a few things a very agile squirrel could do for me. -
Jagex spoonfeeds its players too much.
Me_Hate_Libs replied to shooterbob7's topic in General Discussion
I'll take the spoonfeeding of today than when their target audience was like 12 and under from a few years ago and they were bottlefeeding us. -
If 99 str is so common, should I feel proud to get it?
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Neilson1111's topic in General Discussion
It's the most popular and common of combat achievement capes. If you wanted to feel special, should've gone for defense. -
He was overthrown because Zamorak was a scaredy-cat who couldn't fight without 5 other people helping him do it. And the Edicts of guthix don't include Zaros because he was supposedly dead then. But they restrain Zamorak since he was present when they were made. So he can't attack Zaros, apart from through his disciples. Actually, I believe the Guthixian Eddicts forbade all Gods from directly interfering into the world. Whether they be from past, present, or future.

History and possible future of the Elves (theory)
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Hippodo's topic in General Discussion
But in terms of size, it is certainly the biggest quest chain of them. Mahjarrat have been a bunch of quest unrelated to each other except for the involvement of Mahjarrat, and WGS was a stand alone quest requiring the completion of all other quests, or everyone one released at the time. You could, maybe slightly, call it a sequel to Temple of Ikov. -
Jagex & Tip.It Interview discussion thread!
Me_Hate_Libs replied to das's topic in General Discussion
Personally, I wanna know what criteria they use to determine what day of the week they decide to release an update. For a very long time it was only on mondays, now I can't remember the last time an update was on a monday. -
Quest 200 maybe "Recipe for Disaster 2"
Me_Hate_Libs replied to sirlonewolf's topic in General Discussion
It'll be an epic quest, a week before release they'll realize it's bugged to hell, and then we'll end up with Sheep Shearer 2: The Shearinging. :wall: -
Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Psycho_Robot's topic in General Discussion
Personally, if I had to guess, with all these guys not being at their full strength, Lucien is going to attempt to sacrifice all of Zarosian Mahjarrat to garner the necessary power to achieve godhood. I mean, Zammy used the power of Zaros to get himself Godhood, so maybe the power of a half dozen or so Mahjarrat would do the trick. However, again, this is me guessing, we'll somehow interfere to stop him, and the others will kill off the Zamorakian Mahjarrat and use that power (hazeel, zemouregal, Enahkra, Lucien, etc) plus the Staff of Arma, and the Stone of Jas to resurrect Zaros. -
The Mystics - Can The Head Mystic Be The Mahjarrat Sliske?!
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Dire_Wolf's topic in General Discussion
I doubt that SC will have any real involvement in the game as a whole or in quests. And also, from what is said about Sliske and his having a hand in the small things of day to day life, I bet he's more involved than that of the head mystic. If I had to guess, I bet he is a Necromancer of some type. I mean, Zammy has a powerful wizard and necromance ally in Lucien and Zamoregal, respectively. I bet with Sliska, Zaros will have the same wizard and necomancer ally of that of Azzanadra and Sliske, again respectively. -
Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Psycho_Robot's topic in General Discussion
If one dies between Rituals, it doesn't make any difference: Lucien, Hazeel, Khazard already died. I think the only way of destroying a Mahjarrat is their Ritual, in which they face the void: death? So we must use the ritual to kill Lucien! It sort of fits, doesn't it? We somehow aid the other Mahjarrat in killing Lucien. When Zammy got Zaros's power he was just a warrior. Lucien was a insanely powerful mage, he got the Godstaff of Armadyl then got Stone of Jas which gave Zammy power to become a God and strengthened Guthix and Sara, and even without the power of God himself he is considered to have god-like power. Imagine if he gets more power from the Ritual and then attacks Zamorak... We have to kill him! Jhallan, Akthanakos and Azzanadra should help, as he supported the rebel, but after Lucien is sacrificed all Zamorakians are about to become stronger; We don't stand a chance :? he will die but others will cause us a big threat... One other thought: Anybody has transcript of what balance elemental says? I thought of one gnome, natural follower of Guthix, particularly skilled in magic and also in melee skills... I think that when this ritual takes place, it will naturally turn into a two sided affair between those that sided Zaros and those that sided with Zamorak. After that, it's anyone's guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if the sacrifice of Lucien + Armadyl Staff + power from the Stone of Jas would result in the return of Zaros. -
Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien

But considering how strong they are now, after the ritual, they'll be even stronger and play a bigger and nastier role in the future. Or they'll leave to go do some stuff. Whatever. -
Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Psycho_Robot's topic in General Discussion
That might've been a really good post if I could have understood what the hell you just said. :-s -
For me, it was Barb Assault. Never played it once. But as for the forums and fansites crashing, I take a simple approach: Screw it, Do it, Let em complain.
-
If it was like that, then dying would mean almost nothing. I mean, I died at Gargoyles due to a stupid issue and couldn't get back to it in time. Lost around 10 mill. But other than stuff like that, death isn't nearly that dangerous anymore.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Psycho_Robot's topic in General Discussion
They said the latest quest was the first in a new series. I personally will be calling in "The Ritual" series and towards the end of this chain, many quests, as well as the other Mahjarrat will tie into it. Once all of this is done, and the Mahjarrat are likely sent back to whatever it is they do when we're not interfering, the Dragonkin will rise as the next gravest threat we will have to work against. -
For the past year or more Jagex has been doing all the little things they can to make death as managable as they could. This, along with the advent of gravestones, and the removal of PKing(not the reason it was done, but still had an effect) has made dying not the big deal it once was.

Know what would've been awesome? Jagex gives you 30 days, take no new memberships, and at the end, closed the game down for 90 days to do all these minor fixes they wanted to do in the game as well as finish some old content and start on some new content. Then three months later reopen the game with a whole vast array of new things to do with all the fixes in there to make them more fun to do. And make sure no one lost any credit while the game was on hiatus. Force all their players to take a break from the game for three months.

21st April 2009 - Tale of the Muspah
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Hitman247m's topic in General Discussion
Jagex has tons and tons of software they use to create, design, develop, and fix bugs on all the content they do. Yet, no Spellcheck. PS If anyone tells me spellcheck wouldn't work in these programs and they completely miss the joke, I'll violate your many bodily orifices. -

The Ritual has not started yet, but that is where it will take place. -
Even though their is a kid, I'd still have to say they meant the Mahjarrat and not Fremmy.
