  1. Or, on a PVP world, no one loses anything and no one gains anything. We just kill each other for fun, experience, and bragging rights. Go make money another way. Problem solved again.
  2. Actually we can forgive the grammar. There are many people on here who speak English as a second language and they don't use perfect grammar. We simply want adequate punctuation and a properly used spacebar. Not that hard. :wall:
  3. wanna talk about seriously ruining a rusher's day? Eliminate PVP so he has to go back to making money and annoying people the old way.
  4. I'm going to make a prediction. Tomorrow's update will be a quest. It'll be a short one. Then people will ask why it's halfway through the year and we haven't gotten a long quest yet. PS Chosen Commander was amoderate sized quest. And you'll get a reward called "Past Sight" where you're allowed to toggle through the 12,830 different leprachaun animations and choose which one they look like for you.
  5. Then scale back how much you can make off it. No screw it. Do what I said earlier. Junk PVP!
  6. Andrew Gower lvl 997. Halfway he through the fight he uses a "Paul" summoning puch that summons a lvl 669 "Paul Gower" that throws balls of wool at you.
  7. Actually, quest points have some to do with levels, but not as much as you make it look. It's simple. Someone with max qp isn't likely to be rwt. And since the qp would determine what loot you get, it would simplify the whole thing. Just make loot brackets that you can receive based on your amount of QP. And your loot can never be more than the total amount of what the person you killed had on them. So you can't make millions. You know, they could also add a 24 loot cap.
  8. If they wanted to seriously solve it, your drops values are based on how many QP you have. If you're a pure, you can still PVP, you just don't make any cash. Problem solved.
  9. Because you can clearly play it how you want it now right? Except for the 1200 rules they now have for it. And as far as regular PVPers go, no I don't think there is that many. Only 26king made it popular. It was otherwise, low.
  10. They were going to call it "The Stig", but turns out that was taken. And they said the person who did the Postbag moved on to something else. Leprachaun makeovers I suspect...
  11. Actually they're updating what Jhallan will look like, even though he just came out about 3 months back. Oh, and because we asked for it, *another* leprachaun makeover. Joy! : Edit: You know I got the zingers. Wait, are we talking about jokes or those Twinkie knockoffs I ate when I was 12?
  12. Fine, whatever. Point is, the amount of people regularly PVPing is a slim majority compared to the amount of regular players, and they're damn PVPing is screwing up stuff for the rest of us. So just scratch the whole thing, have RS carve out a niche as a non-pvp game, and let the PVPers move on to WoW or Guild Wars.
  13. Source? :geek: I don't remember, but it's been widely accepted that the average number of players who regularly PVP is around 10%.
  14.   How many level's did you go up? Well, it's smithing, so I imagine 2.
  15. They need fresh content updates more often. I'm tired of them obsessing over PVP. Welcome to Runescape. If Jagex tries to fix messed up existing content, they get hated. If Jagex tries to make new content, they get told to fix existing content. Yeah, but they'll get much less crap for making new, solid content. Most of the stuff they keep fixing are stuff they screwed up because they tried to fix in the first place that didn't need fixing. Which again brings back my Runescape motto: If it ain't broke, you're not trying hard enough.
  16. They need fresh content updates more often. I'm tired of them obsessing over PVP.
  17. Well, if you want a utopia, how about this? It is around 10% of people who pvp, right? Yet a good third of the topics now are about pvp. And this 10% of players, and by trying to appease them, has effectively screwed the other 90% just trying to play the game. Get rid of pvp and tell the kids to go play WoW. Problem solved. :geek:
  18. Yes, they haven't developed it properly. Therefore, it's developmentally delayed.
  19. Just around when Jesus comes back then, but then people probably won't care about the new slayer monster.
  20. Don't remember them giving any sort of timeline about it's release. Don't worry. It'll be out eventually. I mean, sometime in this decade at the very least.
  21. After 7 years on the game and likely thousands of hours, I'd say my account is priceless. Then I'd say 500 bucks. Or a lapdance from Megan Fox. Whichever.
  22. Actually capitalism doesn't drive the game. If it did, we'd have unrestricted trading, no trade caps, unbalanced trading, etc. We got a little mixed capitalism going on here with Jagex setting the controls.
  23. A few weeks of 26king is going to take a long time for normal game play to even it out. I lapsed on members about 6 weeks ago and sold all my members stuff. I got it back again today and tried to buy my old stuff back. Prices have soared across the board. My BGS is 3 mill more now than what it was 6 weeks ago, and the price only began to rise 2 weeks ago.
