Kate Middleton - yay or nay?

1. Cool colours, though a somewhat uninteresting shot. Your reflection ruins the mood, though overall nice framing. 2. Again, some lovely colours, love the crisp quality. Nothing much to the shot though, and it gives off that snapshotty kinda vibe. 3. The balance in this shot is great, between the positive and negative. It is a refreshing angle and really interests me as a viewer. Black and white works. 4. Again, a refreshing take on what could have potentially been another touristy snapshotty photo. The colours are nice, and I love the fauz-vintage look. 5. Lovely balance and its a disconcertingly fresh photo. Awesome composition. 6. Dislike this one, seems like a very forced photo. Low quality, with distracting elements all around it. The black and white don't do many favours I believe. 7. HONK. Just another photo to me. 8. Blurry, messy and lacklustre composition. 9. Again, the photo lacks quality and the boring composition makes for an uninteresting photo. 10. Lovely abstract quality to it, and really well balanced. Great moody shot. 11. ^ 12 ^ ^ - These ones work incredibly well as a set. 13. :thumbdown: 14. Again, nice abstract shot, crisp black and white works well, as does the static quality. 15. A well composed and balanced landscape shot, the portrait frame helps set this out. Saturation a little high (might be my moniter) and the horizon is off. 16. One of my favourite, the dynamic and vibrant quality works well, as does the sharp and contrasty black and white.

How do you process your photos? Some of these look like a black and white conversion, high pass filter and a layer of grey put on screen or overlay overtop! It looks good... Those photos of the simple abstract shapes really works in my opinion, the balance is just right. I'll post some criticism later.

Played the royal wedding drinking game. Too complicated so it succumbed to drink whenever there is a royal on screen.

Its the humidity which gets me. Either way, a nice chino short in tan or grey are pretty much all you need for summer. I have some nice linen/cotton blend pants as well, if smoethings a tad more formal.

I've know learnt about jeans and cuts. Straight-cuts are by far my favourite. Go me. To the above: dark, straight cut jeans, tucked in white oxford. As for shoes, ask Omar.

Try get the exposure as right as possible in camera, definitely. The 4th pano is definitely the best, I reckon. The composition works, and the scene is interesting. There are, of course, elements I would prefer not to be there, but that isn't an option. I think it would be really cool if the whole area of water was just water, and no blue bridges or anything. Looking forward to more :thumbup:

This I agree with. I, to be honest, look at photos because I enjoy looking at them. I have no real preference for any subject matter, thus it doesn't bother me int his case.
