Fairy Queen 3 bonuses
After completion of Fairy Queen 3, you can turn in 6 or so teeth from different places *i forget which are needed but i know that you need a suquah, monkey dentures, old tooth and childs tooth.* to the tooth fairy, in exchange for a bone pet. Also, in the cave near Gu'tanooth, there is a patch of mushrooms u can interact with 85 herblore, and you can find herbs and seeds *not sure as what type* Also, after completion of the quest, you can now ask farmers to keep your patches weeded. ooh, i was wondering what his task count was and i doubt he can get all of that done o_O It's on the picture :P 6593 consecutive tasks is insane and all those charms too... trust me, toony is insane, he'll get it done. btw more than half of his slay tasks are cannoned, and he'll skip tasks just to cannon them lol.

That's not true? I just did a task of Tzharr last night and got my range damage bonus from the helm. +2 (+15%) more to my max hit using darts. Hexcest and Focus sight work in the exact same way a black mask does, in that any creature that is your slayer task it gives the bonus to. Abysal Demon, Waterfeind, Dark Beast, Green dragon, it dosen't matter. If it your task it should give damage and accuracy boosts. If it does not give the bonus then it should be reported as a bug. There is a bug with some of the magic max hits and the hexcrest, if that is what you are referring to? I think this is correct. The black mask adds bonus to melee while on a slayer task, Hexcrest gives whatever bonus to magic on slayer task, and Focus Sight gives bonus to ranging while on a slayer task. I'm starting to think that the hexcrest may just be bugged on quite a few monsters... Including the only one I really care about using it for: Rex yea i thought so. has to be a bug if its not working for slayer tasks that don't require a slayer lvl to kill. that's just stupid if it does that and it's not meant to work that way.

Just remember, the foucs+hex don't work against monsters assigned, which aren't slayer monsters. (Eg, they don't need a certain slayer level to kill.) Thus, it will boost vs abby demons, but not black dragons. Lame. Where did you get that info? i think what stone means is that you won't get the bonuses from the hex or sight unless your using them on a slayer task. non-slayer tasks will not give u the bonus of the items. and you will get the bonuses on any slayer task. it doesn't matter if they require a slayer lvl or not.

[hide] Dh healing was pretty damn funny. Unspam: Almost 100m Slayer exp, crazy. Best thing is that she doesn't cannon at all. [/hide] ~~~ [hide=Ice Strykewyrms Dilemma] It is possible and i've hit a few 88s so far with staff of light, so... :D Wanted to screen the hit, but always failed somehow -.- (laptop - have to press "fn" '+ insert/prt sc) This is how it is possible: Base * X * Y * Z = Damage (rounded down) * E = Final Max Damage Base = Base Damage X = Staff Bonus Y = Slayer Task + Hex Bonus Z = Magic Level Boosted Bonus E = Elemental Bonus With the first situation (Ancient Staff), it would look like this: 28 * 10% * 15% * 21% = 42.8582, or 42 * 2 = 84 Max With the second, and the Staff of Light: 28 * 15% * 15% * 21% = 44.8063, or 44 * 2 = 88 Max So, the max hits make sense. Jagex doesn't add bonuses together in damage calculation. They take the base, add in a factor, find the new max, add in another factor, and so on. It's the reason that Ice Barrage hit 46 as a max back when Extreme Magic provided a 40% bonus. Wouldn't it be more like (Base * X) = RandomNumber1 RandomNumber1 + Base = SemiDamage1 (SemiDamage1 * Y) = RandomNumber2 RandomNumber2 + SemiDamage1 = SemiDamage2 (SemiDamage2* Z) = SemiDamage3 SemiDamage3 * E = Final Damage Would be (28 * 10%) = 2.8 2.8 + 28 = 30.8 (30.8 * 15%) = 4.62 4.62 + 30.8 = 35.42 (35.42 * 21%) = 7.4382 35.42 + 7.4382 = 42.8582 42.8582 * 2 = 85.7164 That's the only way I got to your numbers, and when you rounded up 42.8582...Wouldn't it end up being 43 rather than 2? (If they even round) Now, the problem I see here is...How do we know they take the percentages in the order of 10%-15%-21%? Could be different and the way to get the max hit on those things would be a different formula :/[/hide] [/hide] Mrs Jjb Cyn doesn't cannon either, and i talk with her alot.

19-Jan-2010 - Barbarian Assault Improvements
well i did a full run with the upgraded horn, and my potential says i have a little left. they really need to put a meter on the horn instead of saying "you have a little left." wtf does that mean really, you don't know how much till it runs out till it does and your in the middle of something when you could've gone and gotten more. oh well, maybe they'll add a meter later. so does anyone know how many games needed to fill up the horn completely and does it stack with using sc tools?

Nomad fight.
It should be mentioned in the quest, that when you get Nomad down to below 1/4 hp, he will heal himself back up to almost under half hp, prolonging the fight and he will only do this once. Credit: Seer

11-Jan-2010 - Nomads Requiem
Wait a second, I thought protection prayers didn't do anything but then again I never tried protect from range. Are you sure he's switching prayer styles and you're actually able to stop his attacks? If so, Nomad is a loooooooot easier than everyone first thought. tried it, doesn't work. i do know tho, when he goes into his melee frenzy, prot melee does NOT give full protection. prot melee will stop some of his attacks 1/2 of the time, the other 1/2 will hit you for 20+ and he hits as fast as darts. I love Firefly!!!! "Lets get one thing straight. I do the job, and then I get paid. Go run your little world."

11-Jan-2010 - Nomads Requiem
heres the thing i see with this quest. 1: people say its easy to kill nomad ONLY if they have extreme sets. 2: people say its hard to kill nomad *like myself* as they DON'T have extreme pots and thus must kill him the hard way. From what i have seen personally, the people that say this quest was easy and should not be considered GM status is the fact that they have extreme sets. I for one don't care what type of quest it is, other than the fact that nomad was extremely hard and took me over 10+ tries to finally kill that gorram idiot. So argue about a stupid quest difficulty, it still is a hard quest and not many will be able to do it, and those that do will either have extreme sets, or be very lucky and manage to kill him. Personally i don't care, i got it done, i'm happy

blood runs deep correction
For the Dagganoth mother, she uses all 3 styles of attack. you can keep your distance and she will only mage or range you. she will only melee if your within range. also, the mother will use mage or range for a while then switch, making it so you have to pray switch. also, when the fight starts with the mother, you MUST use the Balmug *when you attack her with the Balmug, she'll say "ARGH! That weapon! How did you get it?", and then begin the color switching.* otherwise she will not switch between the colors. for the melee color *orange* you can use any melee weapon, not just the Balmug. hope this helps. credit: Seer
