[hide] Ok, I think something's wrong. It's been 24 hours now and those trees haven't grown. Also I replanted yews about 8 hours ago. Is replanting trees not working during the weekend? Anyone? It's been 30 hours now. You know that each time you log in, the counter of the current growth fase is reset right? Seriously?! :shock: Common misconception actually. The timer doesn't "reset" at all, but is rather "skipped" given the certain circumstances. Most of the added time comes from disease rather than logging. (see discussion below) [hide] Each farming plant is broken down into mini-segments which carry from plant to plant. Some plants (like limpwurts) are broken down into 2.5 minute timers. Other plants, such as herbs are broken down into 5 minute timers. If you are in process of logging in/out when the timer "clicks" to go to the next growth stage, the timer will be skipped and you lose the stage that would have progressed. For small plants that only make be a few minutes, but for large tree's missing the growth timer could be 30 minutes. Logging in/out on the the timer itself wont add to much to the growth of a tree, but what really adds up the time is disease. While a tree can still be watched, that does not keep the tree from being diseased. It simply won't die if being watched while diseased. Think of a tree being watched as having plant cure put on the tree every 2.5 minutes by the farmer. So the tree won't die, but still feel the time increasing effects of disease. (It will miss a cycle every time the tree gets diseased.) A tree getting diseased and "auto-cured" 3-4+ times by the farmer watching it could have a dramatic effect on the total amount of time the tree takes to grow. In some cases the tree could end up almost double the normal growing time (though that would be very rare). This is most often seen with longer growing trees as they have more opportunity to become diseased. Calquat and Spirit trees have about a 30-50% chance to be delayed at some point in their time growing (as per personal experience growing them to 99). [/hide] As for my bonus weekend, I decided to do as much herb as I could and then proceed with ZMI. Got +1 herb levels and +1 RC levels. I'm defiantly stocking up though for the next DXPW and maybe plan to get 99 herb on that if possible. [/hide] I've learned from a friend, that whenever there is a system update, anything that is planted and is still growing at the time of the update, the timer for the growth becomes messed up somehow. My friend had her fruit trees growing during a system update, and they didn't finish growing almost 2 days later.

How much do you plan on spending? Almost 20m on supplies, but it'll be worth it to me. What skills do you plan on training? Herb, Summon Rc and maybe dungeon How you plan on playing more then normal? I don't, I just play when I can Expecting to get any 99's? No but i plan on getting 99 att this weekend What order do you plan on training skills, if doing multiple skills. Herb, dungeon/RC summon

I don't really care about the inflated prices due to the weekend. I got all the supplies I needed within a few days off the ge. The only thing that makes me mad about the weekend is the 10% cap on summoning. With the charms I had I could have easily gotten 96+, but I'll settle for 93. So my plan for the weekend, Herb first, then rc till 110%, then hit summoning. Should be fun.

You should add a list of first to max skillers, first skiller to hit 99 in a non-combat skill, and highest ranked skillers. I know of a skiller that was first to max was Pure Kq Pax.

The magic damage from the arcane really helps when killing chaos druids, seriously. People underestimate it but it's p0werfull likenowai They have low hp and low damage, It really shouldn't matter what people wear. My guess is he's farming for herbs lol.

They said a while back on the forums that summ probably would not be included in the next bonus weekend. Still the extra 10% is something. With the time limit and crap id rather do something else than get a 10% boost, id easily rather get 95 prayer, barrage lobs for 99 magic or something. I just don't see why they have to do crap like this. Altars dont work for bonus xp weekend too. Have fun barraging! Gl on finding an open world for lobs! Have fun brainstorming for a new idea! Exp is still exp, and like wantmyer said, 10% is still something. Also, your not the only one who saved charms for 96 summon lol. I've been after 96 for a LONG time, ah well.

The random seed only applies to herbs and more often than not you get the same seed that you planted. So while it is possible to get a random herb seed back, it's not entirely random. I'd say 90% of the time it's the same seed. Sadly I think it's a lower percentage than that maybe 75%. There still should be a note though on the guide that there is a chance you won't get the same seed back.

In the Dungeoneering guide here, it states that the scroll rewards your seeds back. What it should say it rewards a RANDOM seed when you trigger the seed return. There is NO guarantee that the seed you receive will be the same one you planted. I have planted a snapdragon herb, and got back a Marentill seed. Confirmation can be found on the RSDB under the rewards section. ~Credit Seer
