Huh. My school was nothing like that at all. It wasn't the greatest by a long shot and of course there were annoying people, but to say they are ignorant and have no personality is rather shallow. So what if they do those things? I'm pretty sure we all did them (you included), so there's no need to act all high-and-mighty-I'm-so-much-smarter-and-better-than-everyone-else, buddy. Don't try to tell me that's not what you're saying, because it is. By complaining about them, you are just as annoying and immature - this isn't the first time I've seen a post like this from you either. I don't think you're any older than thirteen. You'll grow out of it. A. I'm 15. B. Yes I'm better than them. In the sense that room temperature is better than 2nd degree burns. C. If you knew these people, I can with absolute honesty say that you would agree that they have no personalities. Well, thats not entirely accurate. The personalities are there, just as generic as they come. You know what I mean. The person that says "We should just nuke the Middle East rawr! USA Numba 1", the person that acts like a douche for no reason. I don't mean stupid in the sense that they don't score well on tests and things like that. I mean it in the sense that they don't understand the world around them. I mean that in the sense that they will believe whatever they are taught, never thinking to question it. As in, the few people in my school that have admitted to being gay have had the [cabbage] beat out of them. You may be right though that not every school is like this. The last (and only other) town I lived in had mostly ok people. Mayber I'm just unlucky to be here?

Don't get me wrong, math is a great thing and definitely has its uses, just not useful to me in particular, which is why I hate that I'm missing half my summer because of it. Adrenal, you're right, but I'm not content to just take things as they come. Even if I could pass Regents Algebra (which I really, really can't) and managed to graduate HS, the logical next step would be to go to college and get a job, which, to me, is boring.

Well [bleep]. It's Midnight on a Sunday, and as usual, I'm pissed off about the coming week of school. We go there and spend 7 hours a day, not learning, but memorizing an endless river of useless information. What's more, this useless information also has the potential to absorb half of your summer vacation if you refuse to go along with it. In my case, it's Algebra. Besides math, the other classes, though much easier, are, for the most part, just as useless. At the same time you're putting up with ignorant jackasses with no personality and who know nothing about the world around them outside of this town, and who repeatedly make stupid decisions, all while blaming anyone but themselves and spewing uneccessary swear words and your mom jokes. The proper way of dealing with these people if to feed them to a woodchipper. Basically, every school ever. And why do you strive to memorize (not learn) this useless information? So you can get a good job. Why do you want a good job? So you can buy stuff to make your life better. Except you won't be able to use this stuff, because of your advanced job. So instead you start a family and work to make their lives better. Except that families have a tendency to suck up money like Michael Moore sucks up food. So you don't have the money to give them a great life, and instead they have to settle for an average life, and do the exact same [bleep]ing thing you did. The cycle continues forever. *pant* *pant* *pant*
  4. When I was in a Biology class as a freshman that happened so much that the usually calm teacher got downright pissed and ultimately banned the game. (Which I just lost. And have been losing since that class...) I lost the game. It bugs me when kids who don't understand code or certain things about it try to tell someone who does understand it that they are wrong. A fellow peer told me you can;t use OpenGL in Java. Apparently he has never heard of JOGL, LWJGL, or JME. Yeah!

That sounds like a fun video. Post it here when you're done so we can watch it. :) Do you have TF2 on PC? I'm probably going to do the battles on Tf2, and we're going to need people.

Working on a cheap little machinima that should be out next weekend. No idea what I'm going to do yet, all I know so far is that it's called The Cold War, and starts with a scout building a snowman when a heavy shows up and ruins it. That's all I have done at this point, but the plan is to have an all out war between blue soldiers and red heavies.
  10. Is that work based on the assumption that you don't show up with a flamethrower?
  11. Pirated Fallout 3. Much better than the 360 version.

If he's going to do [cabbage] like this, is it really worth keeping him as a friend?

Finished a shortened version of The Odyssey today. (came in the form of a big packet) Was pretty awesome. I couldn't resist and wrote "Cool story, bro." in the back.
  17. The story in MW2 kicked [wagon], no question. Sure it was implausible, but a good story demands that the enemy be an actual threat. This was the one thing I didn't really like about CoD 4's single player, that the enemies were Russian secessionists and an army in a Middle Eastern country that to the US is pretty much just cannon fodder.
  18. That'd be pretty stupid. Removing it would only result in people being even more ignorant about religions other than their own, if any (and even then...). But it's important that they're not trying to shove it down peoples' throats, but instead teach the different principles of all the different major religions in a factual and unbiased manner. That's what they did in my high school, and religion quickly turned into one of my favourite classes. No, all they do is teach Christianity. If they say anything else, don't believe them, at least not in Canada. (And if it's like that here, I bet it's even worse in the States.) Not even close. I live in New York, and here we learned about all the major religions in the way Azvareth described. Over the course of the year, we learned about Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, and now that we're into medieval Europe, the different sects of Christianity. Going in, I thought there was going to be a bias towards Catholicism, but that hasn't been the case at all.

Gtfo nub, lead-filled bats are so last month. It's all about sharpened tooth brushes these days.
  20. Because nobody gives a [cabbage] about China or anywhere else. The Vyet 'nam vet'rans disagree.
  21. I thought it was pretty funny. On a semi-related note, I keep a list of every girl I know who has offered to make me a sandwich.
  22. Who says Democracy is the best? Democracy is the worst form of government. Except for all the other ones.

Nuke your house. I can think of a few drawbacks, but it's guaranteed to get the leech.
