I couldn't agree more. If you ask me, religion is just a wall in the way of god. That's another issue though. :lol: As you say, I couldn't agree more either. If people didn't prioritize "pleasing" God, following what some ridiculously old (and extremely contradicitive, logic defying etc) book said and instead opened their mind and prioritized making the world better for everyone, we'd achieve a lot more. If I could have my way, we'd all acknowledge a God but instead follow a secular Humanistic view, create a better world for those who inhabit it, and not worry about pleasing God. Just because there could quite possibly be a God out there, it doesn't mean we have to devote our time to pleasing it and forgetting others. THANK YOU! And if there is a God, which I'm convinced there is, here's another thought: Is it sentient? Did it create life on purpose, or are we accidental? Is God Dr. Frankenstein, and we're the monster? (we've definitely screwed up big enough to be considered a monster)

Christ. I'm not saying he doesn't have a right to his opinion, I'm just curious as to the exact reason why. There is no such thing anywhere in life as "just because". ON TOPIC We've been in and out of Bioshock, now I think it;s time to give some attention to Condemned. And I mean Criminal Origins, not the sequel that was neither scary nor fun. While playing the demo I made up my mind that I wouldnt buy CO, not because I didn't like it, but because I didn't think I could finish it :ohnoes:

You want a reason for someone not liking a game? How about this, its not his type of [bleep] game! YOu don't need to know why, and you'll probably try to combat the reason. Just accept its a game made for entertainment and not everyone likes it, and your opinion won't change it. Doesn't matter if a game has had good reviews or not, I never pay attention to reviews, I buy the game if I like the sound of it. HAZE had pretty bad reviews, yet, I liked it. Face it, reviewers are not gods, we should not base our opinion on theirs. OF COURSE NOT EVERYONE LIKES A GAME! But there is always, ALWAYS a reason. I used to believe FF just wasn't my type of game, so around 2005 I would have agreed with you. I'm not asking him to write an essay on the subject, I'm just really curious. I agree that you shouldn't base opinions on reviews, you need to play the game and decide for yourself. But when the majority of reviewers are positive, that means something. I still have to agree with you though that you need to play the game for yourself.

But we are not the company, we are the consumers. We look at it from the consumers point of view, and from the consumers point of view, it's a bad game on the Wii. Hell, it's only decent on the main consoles, and I don't know about PC since I haven't played that one. Anyway, I officially hate Roundhouse for War. The Roundhouse objective is rediculous, every single time I play that it ends up with noone trying to capture it. It's both a problem of the game and the players. The area is way too open, and players are usually unwilling to capture it. The other day I just threw down a smoke grenade there and went prone until we won (it was the sudden death round). I almost died, but if a few more people had just left the sidelines and come in it would have been an easy victory.

The sad thing is you have played it. Scariest game I have played is Condemned: Crinimal Origins. Bioshock and Dead space were just .. NOT scary. Both not even that good of games IMO. 1. Condemned was INCREDIBLY scary, but not fun to play. 2. BioShock was INCREDIBLY scary on the first couple of levels, after that it's not really scary, but very fun. 3. As for Dead Space, I've never played so I have no idea about that one. Btw, anyone who didn't like Bioshock just beat the game, not played it. (yes, there is a difference) I played the game. Not just complete it. I have completed it enough times to know that I do not like the game. You on the other hand are acting like a moron. The problem is in bold. If you really played the game so much, tell me what you know about the story, characters, fun ways to make things dead, everything you know from your playthroughs. (though nobody gets everything on the first few playthroughs) Now why are you resorting to insults. It's a discussion about a game, if you're getting so worked up over it then please leave until you can make a post free of that sort of thing.

Erm, even every CHRISTIAN knows that God did not literally write the Bible himself. I don't think it's question of whether or not God exists, but a question of what God is. It's almost certainly not the way it's portrayed in the Bible. I got to a Christian school, and i was taught that the Bible is God's autobiography about the time he came down from heaven and was viscously killed by Jews for no apparent reason. Wasn't Jesus born Jewish? I believe he was. You Christian school is teaching you very wrong. Jesus was born Jewish, and later began preaching the word of God. He basically wanted people to be good to each other. He was killed by the Romans because he went against what they believed I think, which is weird considering later the Bible was published by the Romans. That last sentence is just iirc though.

But how do you AFK? I've tried watching some AVGN while mining pure ess, which was slightly successful, but you can't truly do that, because in about 5-20 seconds you need to go back to check on your guy. How do you do it?

How fast does the virus kill? Can it take days, or is it like in 28 days where you have 10-20 seconds?

Way to not read the thread. That's what I've been saying this whole time, but there isn't much fun to be had. All of those minigames require high skills to be good at, mainly the PvP ones. And how is that? It's boring and you know it. Looking back at a lower level is like looking back at an earlier grade. You think about how you wish you could go back because now it would be so easy for you. But when you were in that grade, you always hated it. Edit: Does anyone know a decent TIF populated clan chat? It would probably ease the grinding a bit.

Smither, when you talked about PMing you made me realize what I think is the problem. All of my friends stopped playing long ago, so for the past 25 CB levels (I'm 90 now), I've been playing this game entirely solo. I need to add people, or find a good cc or something :? Have you considered a career as a therapist?

I wanted to try out a Godsword, and I had some extra cash, so I was asking around the G.E. saying I would borrow one of any kind for 10k for a few hours. Some guy with a bgs eventually said he'd lend his, but he said he wanted the 10k first. I knew this was an obvious scam, but I decided to play along, with this thread in mind. I put up the 10k, and we both accepted. Then at the next screen, I saw him accept. I Clicked decline. I guess he was just waiting for the screen to dissapear and he would take that as the time to leave. As soon as the screen went down when I declined, he broke a teletab, leaving with the word "Ha! Noob!". I still had my 10k, and I imagine he felt like an idiot. This post was intended for the Almost Scammed thread, but that either doesn't exist anymore or I can't find it.

Except do all the things you've wanted to do since you started. Then in a few years RS shuts down, and THEN what you described happens. And Master, if these are the best times of RS, then this really is a bad game.
