  1. I understand what you're all saying, but the trip from newb to God is not fun, thats the problem. 65-90 CB has offered few new things.
  2. No, I can get 70+ skills a hour a day in a year. Its not hard. Nothing in this game is hard. And thats 70+ for ALL skills. A hour a day on just combat and you can rocket to high enough stats to GWD or fight caves, which you think is fun. (And let me tell you, you think grinding at GWD is any more fun then grinding anywhere else?) If you can succeed at GWD, you don't need to train anymore ;) The problem is that it takes forever. This wouldn't be a problem if the training was actually fun, but its slow and boring.
  3. But thats the thing, you never really work, you just bore yourself to death for a few hours a day.
  4. Doesn't take long to level, if it takes you long you either a) get distracted or B) do not know how to level. Wrong good sir. The only exception is combat, where its grinding up until you do Defender of Varrock, then Armored Zombies whisk you away to 99s. Edit: And n_odie, that was good, but in this case the meat is bland.
  5. TRAINING. That is all.
  6. Today while (failing) at iron drags, I thought of this. I'm here at them to make money. I'm not making money because I don't have good enough levels to fight them. I don't have the levels to fight them because I haven't spent enough time training the skills. I haven't been training the skills enough because I haven't played for long enough. I've been playing on and off (mostly on), for two years. You can view my stats on the left. Yet I STILL haven't done enough to be an even decent player. Why? Why does this game demand so much of you to have fun? This is why RS is a piece of crap. I know that once you get insanely high levels you can do fun things like the GWD and Barrows. This also means riches like you wouldn't believe for many players. This is why RS is the greatest game ever. But all of that takes DAYS worth of boring, repetitive training per skill. I just don't know how some people can do it. Opinions?
  7. Thanks, I'll keep an eye out :P
  8. Can someone please save this thread? I think it has some good history of the events leading up the the RWT updates, right from the start.
  9. It's Saturday now... Do you mean next weekend, or was there supposed to be one today?
  10. I hate this thread. Full of things I'll never be able to do :(
  11. The irony of it is, since there are no other countries left, there's noone to trade with to get out of dept...
  12. Any deals coming up for this on Steam? I really badly want it but reviews say it gets boring after awhile, so I want to get it like between $10-$20.
  13. I actually think the OP is right. It doesn't lower your defence stats, but you do seem to be significantly more likely to be hit higher when not in combat. I've noticed this at the iron drags recently.
  14. You haven't played many horror games. I mostly played Thing, Bioshock (wouldn't consider it "horror" though), F.E.A.R 1 and 2, Doom 1 and 3, Condemned, and a couple others I haven't mentioned. The only two games that really creeped me out was Thing and the Suffering You've played BioShock, Condemned, AND F.E.A.R., and you think The Thing and The Suffering was scarier? Blasphemy! Note that I'm not calling games with the best graphics "scary". Neither am I. I'm talking about the games that genuinely scared me. Not that there is a difference between scaring and startling.
