  1. Ah, I think I understand. Would you be willing to try again? If so, I and I'm sure others here would be happy to help you find your way around.
  2. It's a sandbox game lol
  3. I never understood why people like pizza (or Italian food in general) at all. Tomato sauce + my mouth = near retch.
  4. QFT My first interpretation of that acronym is "quite [bleep]ing true." :P But really, what does it mean? Quoted For Truth In other words, either way works
  5. Not a Youtube link, but I thought this ad was kind of funny. http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=22984504&server=vimeo.com&show_title=0&show_byline=0&show_portrait=0&color=00adef&fullscreen=1&autoplay=1&loop=0
  6. ^^ Jealous.
  7. So glad to see this thread back. I played as a vassal for the Nords for the first year or so of gametime, building up an epic army etc..., then spent the next year up until now starting my own kingdom. All Rhodok territory, plus some Swadian and former Khergit territory are mine. I love RPing it though, it feels like you're writing history as you play, even more immersive during the beginning of your new kingdom when you're fighting for survival against a vastly superior force. Special RP ability goes to Hero characters. Ex. When I was working for the Nords, we were defending the then Nordic city of Veluca. Alayen was in my party, and when my army started to lose (we were outnumbered by like 700-100), I imagined he was now known to the Nords as the Hero of Veluca. When my empire controlled the city much later, I thought it only fair to give it to him. Also, elite armies ftw. Besides epic heroes (Jeremus has greatly upgraded healing abilities and Lezalit training abilities), I have a total of 100 guys, made up of Swadian and Vaegir Knights, about 20 Sword Sisters, Sarranid Mamlukes, all elite cavalry units. @Giordano, fighting other cavalry is hard, for me at least. I would recommend getting practice in horse archery.
  8. I've heard Silent Hill 2 is AMAZING, it's definitely on my list now. I played the demo for Amnesia, and I got to the part where the invisible monster that can only touch you if you're in the water is. Brilliant idea on the developers part, but became less scary and more tedious when I got stuck at a gate and spent some time figuring out what to do. I don't know that this could be prevented, though. OT, I hate how I woke up at 3AM, couldn't fall asleep again until 5, then woke up again every hour and couldn't stay up long enough to "get off at the intended stop" until like 12.
  9. "So what do you think the scariest game is?" "Dead Space." I am convinced that anyone who gives this answer needs to be sent to a re-education facility. I hear it a lot.
  10. Winged bugs in general. And all bugs. Yeah, [bleep] bugs.
  11. Invis watch is surprisingly effective. I used to spy with C&D and I was usually failspy, but the invis watch makes you haul ass and you tend to get more done. It's a good feeling when you get 10 backstabs and 4 destructions while defending on that first Goldrush map and like a third of their team goes pyro, killing their own advance.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t21Crm4SRTs I was bored.
  13. While we're in trade mode, I have tons of stuff and am looking to trade for an officer's ushanka. I have no idea what to give in return for it though, so I guess I give what you're asking.
  14. I think I have an extra.
  15. Cool, was walking in my house looking down when I realized my grotto sucks a little less now.
  16. Proceed with caution. Other than that, my opinion on this is the same as my opinion for anything else: As long as it doesn't affect anyone else, go for it.
  17. *How to Have Fun in TF2* Step 1: Go spy. Step 2: Disguise as friendly heavy. Step 3: Go to enemy base. Step 4: Laugh when people run from you.
  18. I think the reason so many people "hate reading" is because of how English teachers ruin it. People would hate movies too if there were teachers that stopped the movie every 2 minutes to ask about the symbolism in the scene. Even worse is that when you try to bring up alternate interpretations, teachers will dismiss it. On a side-note, just because an author didn't intend for something to be symbolic doesn't mean it isn't.
  19. This. They seem to read each word individually without taking in the idea the sentence is conveying.
  20. When I say I prefer Xbox/PC to Wii and Wii players automatically assume I only care about graphics (even though I actually like the Wii's colorful graphics).
  21. Flies are way worse. They have insane reaction times.
  22. I don't care so much about "lol" in real life, but it doesn't take much to overuse it, and anyone who says "pwn" or "roflmao" needs to be sent to a work camp.
  23. My basement is awash with Lego. It's like stepping on broken glass :( Slide your feet so they just push them out of the way.
  24. This so much. It could be as simple as "No no, this is how you do it." "Oh, alright". But no, they have to get defensive. Also, I've recently noticed a surprising number of people that don't know their left from their right, which gets pretty important in situations where it makes a difference.
