  1. I have to disagree about "someone the user is responsible for". If I'm responsible for a child, doing something that directly harms them should be wrong in almost all cases (disregarding things like vaccinations, etc.) I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. What I'm saying is like, something like Euthanasia would be legal, but if you're responsible for caring for a child, you shouldn't be allowed to use the service until they're no longer under your care. An example to help clarify.
  2. This should be the law. I even made a helpful chart since apparently most people (or most people in government) still don't get it.
  3. Hmm, adblock plus can be used to block individual images. Unblocked Gallade, since I was more annoyed at the sig than the posts.
  4. If you figure it out could you say? Click the "Signed in as..." go to Manage ignored users, copy paste Toki_Hakurei. THANK YOU SO MUCH
  5. Tokyo governor Shintaro Ishihara. He is completely bent on banning manga and anime (which people with common sense see as harmless) because of all of the "incest" and "rape" that they "promote". His stupid "Child Ordinance" bill got signed into law which restricts sales of about 40% of the manga and anime. Funny how this new law only affects manga/anime and not live action porn or novels. This friggin hypocrite wrote novels on the very subjects he's against. Hell he's so bent on this he went as far as to say his own country deserved the earthquake and tsunami. I don't know anything about the man, but I agree that anime/manga often CAN result in promoting incest and rape, as well as pedophilia. Not all of them, mind you, but any of them with little girls portrayed sexually. If that's the case then GTA promotes murder.
  6. So much easier to post in the form of a video. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this is worth 30,000 words a second. In this case, all of them are to convey that I'm out of ideas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agAe69ESjIM
  7. If elected, I, Dizzle, promise to change the state religion to Pastafarianism, and to have the cast of Jersey Shore deported to Somalia.
  8. *I see flame in the near future* People that are overly hateful and ignorant of Communism. This is not a post talking about whether you believe Communism can or cannot work, I myself have no opinion on the issue and prefer to abstain from this type of thing altogether. What annoys me is when people talk about Communism as if it was the devil itself, because dem' commehs' wunneh d'stroy UH-MURIKKA! Then when they argue against it, they go right ahead and describe Fascism. While most if not all Communist countries have displayed Fascism to varying degrees, ranging from "a little bit" to "Communist my ass", these things are not part of Communism itself. Totalitarianism might be a better word to use than Fascism. And Stalin was a Fascist, I hate when people use him in arguments against Communism. Even Lenin and Trotsky despised the man. Point is, whenever a Communist country does something horrible, it seems to be the idea of Communism itself that gets the blame, whether it's actually related or not. Flame as you will. Edit: I also hate the idea that a person mopping floors earns the same amount as a doctor. Not quite the case. EDIT EDIT: I need to point out that although I take no sides on the issue, as with Capitalism, pure Communism has not a snowball's chance in hell at working, as every country to try it has found out. Lenin's Compromise with Capitalism comes to mind, which makes Stalin's implementation of Collective Farms pretty baffling to me. Edit Edit Edit: I keep feeling the need to add to the post every 5 minutes to clarify something -.- I'm also annoyed by the general idea that all Communist countries are the same. This is about as true as saying all Capitalism countries are the same.

Spent most of the day reading the Boatmurdered succession game. http://lparchive.org/Dwarf-Fortress-Boatmurdered/Introduction/
  11. People that unquestioningly believe rumors. "The guy that played Pee-wee Herman raped a bunch of kids!"
  12. Dwarf Fortress. Or rather, I would be playing Dwarf Fortress if I had any idea what the flying [bleep] was going on.
  13. Confession: For all the hate they get, I actually really like WWII games.
  14. Is it bad that when people say battlefield the only game I know of is 1942? Similar to this hate, I hate "CoD fans" that had never heard of it before MW.

Alexis Pilkington was in my school. Pissed me off how big they made it WHEN THE PARENTS INSISTED THE MEDIA WAS EXAGGERATING.

  17. But can't they just convert sandwiches into supplies like they always do?
  18. Obviously they know it's a bomb, but it's always been canon in my mind that they don't know it's rigged to explode at the end. They were told in a briefing beforehand that they were to deliver it to a storage area and RED wants to stop them from doing so. Really they're being sent on a suicide mission, as it's likely at least a couple of them will be killed by the explosion. It would take only simple logic to realize that they were moving toward a red base, but they were too busy being axe crazy to notice. RED likely knows BLU's mission, and spends the time directly after the game laughing at the ones that fell in the pit to the fiery death, so hard in fact, that they drop their weapons and have to either hide or be massacred by the survivors.
  19. I was playing on Goldrush and started wondering if, in universe, the RED and BLU teams KNOW what will happen when the bomb reaches the final point. This is why I love Gmod.
  20. I love the character so much. I haven't seen Hannibal because I've heard it's pretty ridiculous, but Hannibal Rising is still on my list.
  21. I personally got through it by picking on the weakest kingdom (though still pretty tough at that time), and focusing only on taking ITS territories. Even that was overwhelming, I couldn't imagine fighting more than one at a time.

    Summer is nearly halfway over.
  23. Related confession: I read and write very well and rarely do I have trouble articulating my thoughts, but to me, cursive is like a foreign language. I can barely read it, at best, and I just cannot write it at all.
  24. I always used the training fields to train my troops by sparring with a couple of them at a time. A few rounds of this and you should be able to upgrade some of them. More experience if you sic them on some looters. There really is a kind of slow progression, and I'll admit the game does start out kind of slow.
