Finally, a list with bands I've actually heard of (and listened to!). I'm tired of the trend of people posting these random unknown bands. And Stadium Arcadium is a great album. It's actually the only album I own :oops:.

:lol: No they are not. Most of the bands now a days just do it for [bleep] shock value. And it actually is getting pathetic now that people are just trying to get grosser then all the other bands. 99% of the bands a not glorifying it. I read an interview with Necrophagist and they even said something like "We're just normal guys, its just shock value" And it doesn't matter what you think is worse, its that you think one is okay and the other is not when there really is not much of a difference in the obscene level. The lyrics are just super descriptive a lot of the time and people just freak out. Now that you put it that way, I see how its analogous to horror movies. I thought they all thought they were badasses because they just sreamed about blood and guts and gore and death. And sex.

Because they are metal. oic. So why does everyone here like metal so much?

IMO, necrophelia is way worse. And I'm getting the feeling that these songs are glorifying this crap.

I really need to start getting into more music. I haven't heard of most of these bands that everyone's talking about.

What do you guys see in this stuff? It all sounds the same to me. EDIT: I just read the lyrics to I [bleep] Blood, turns out its about necrophelia. I'm pretty sure there's not many horror movies dealing with that.......(isn't there a smiley that looks like it's gonna puke?)

I would never listen to a band with a song called I [bleep] Blood Why would anyone want to listen to a genre that's obsessed with violence?

I actually think that was a really interesting idea. What the heck? Does he just sit there the whole time, lifting his hand a couple times? How is sitting down at a piano and not playing anything interesting?

I feel like a broken record, but Zakk Wylde did a cover of Beatles's Come Together which I think I prefer over the original - although that might have something to do with the fact that I heard his version about 100x times before I heard the original. I'm pretty sure the only way someone would ever consider a Beatles cover to be better than the original is if they had already heard the cover a bunch of times already.

I always thought that ATM's just gave you money, so you could just go there and get as much money as you wanted. And credit cards. It didn't make sense to me that some company would just pay for the stuff you buy.

So when someone gets hit by a drunk driver, its because they had no self control? Because the Driver did not have self control, yes. That's a load of bull. If it weren't for the alcohol, no one would've died. It's not a lack self control that kills people, its the impairment from the alcohol.
