  1. The new areas look amazing. Totally didn't expect them to rework F2P areas again. (I do realize that Taverly dungeon is a members area)
  2. thank god this is in suggestions. Bound to get loads of discussion here.
  3. Mining doesn't need a re-balance. Let it stand as a way for people to make some money. There are plenty of ways for people to get rune bars and ore. Oh and I don't think there is an issue with alching. The prices will only fall far enough for high alchemy to be a little bit profitable.
  4. That makes no sense. The rune market is over saturated, people who are high enough level would be making rune items if it was that profitable, being able to make full rune at a lower level wouldn't increase the demand for rune items.
  5. I've been barking up this tree for years. E: As much as I would like to see this happen, I don't think it will. The xp rates for everything need to be re balanced if the tables are altered. Making full addy at 40 smithing and getting 250k/hr is too fast. I guess they could give you access to full addy at 40 smithing and just introduce a "success rate". You get faster at making things as levels get higher. Crude tables: Bronze/Iron: 1-10 Steel: 11-20 Mithril: 21-30 Adamant: 31-40 Rune 41-50
  6. I haven't been to the grotworm lair yet, and I don't know a whole lot about this update, but the screenshots of the lowest level remind me of the teaser images. Bottom three images here (in case they don't load in hide tags) [hide] [/hide] Those screenshots could be from the third floor but I'm not sure. If they aren't, then it's possible that they're from the fourth. Oh, and I think that most doors, stairs and other things are put in the game to keep us interested in the future. Look at how much people speculated over the frozen door in GWD. It's a self sufficient hype machine.
  7. Thank you! Holler at me in DGS the next time you see me :) Yeah it's getting more and more exiting! And thank you! Two more Ranged levels today. (96-97)I stopped to move on to slayer, but before I do that I'm going to finish Mining/Smithing to unlock the Royale cannon. (Mining at LRC and Smithing at Artisans obviously)
  8. Huge fan of DIY blogs, I'll be watching this! Best of luck.
  9. Two more level ups. I think I'll get 2 more ranged levels and move on to slayer.
  10. I really liked your first post and your casual style of playing. It's refreshing to see someone who really enjoys the game. You don't get sucked into the efficiency vs. fun debate. You just play. I wish you luck on your goals. Get that 2k total!
  11. Thanks for following and posting! Yeah, I should have 2496 by the years end. If I can find a decent amount of time over the summer, I can have it by August. Some levels. I think I might stop chinning at 97 ranged and see how close to 99 I can get by finishing Slayer.
  12. i dont bring 1-click tele to dks cause a misclick can ruin ur trip. Because dying and having to get back to all your shit doesn't ruin your trip.
  13. Not so great at updating this, real life has been really busy and amazing lately. I'm slowing going to chin to 99 ranged though when I can find time to play. I started at 89 ranged and I'm at 91 at the time of writing this. Interesting fact: Getting 90 ranged brought all of my skills above 90. After 99 ranged, I'll be able to use my hex properly and start getting work done on 120 DG. I think I'm going to get 99 mining at LRC and 99 smithing at artisans workshop before I really start to tackle Slayer. This is my mini timeline for how long I want to spend getting each 99. Ranged: One week. I'm 7m xp off. Mining: Two days. I'm 700k xp off. Smithing: Dunno how long artisans takes. 3-4 days. Then slayer should take like 2 weeks. I'm pretty much 97 right now so that should be pretty fast if I stick to it. OH and summoning is a [bleep].

    Bonfires

Wouldn't doing that defeat the ENTIRE purpose of this update? People are always going to look for ways to max out their xp/hr. I probably won't do it, but it doesn't make it wrong. Just seen this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNKlaKiPxQ8 Wonder how that method compares to manually adding logs to the bonfire and other fast firemaking methods (Pyrelord, Curly Roots etc.). Tries to eliminate long fire lines from the game, makes them more xp/hr. In all honestly though I like that there is an option to be more hands on and get faster xp/hr.
  15. I hope that was done on purpose. I never understood why small streams didn't have clear water.. It makes sense to have deep blue waters in larger bodies of water though.
