Not really. Because the way the hitting system is (imo) random then the 17.5% is irrelevant, I'd rather have +70 Defence boost all the time rather than "17.5%" of a random (someone hits 40 they'll still do 33 damage) so 17.5% is not a lot at all really, 17.5% only starts to be a lot if you're getting AGS spec'd or Dharok spec'd.

Personally, I see all of them dropping below the DFS. People buy the DFS (the demand for it) is the +strength bonus, people rather have +strength than anything else.

DFS is still way better. Hell, I'd even prefer a Crystal Shield to the new ones (people forgot about that item?) My honest opinion; Overpriced items.

Ofcourse you need to complete the quest to get the shield as a drop, can't kill the beast without the quest, now can you? you can buy the shields, or at least they are listed in the GE. so maybe thats what he meant. Wonder if you have to complete Quest to use the shields, or just to get them... That would be very interesting information...

Killing Mith Dragons at the moment, hoping for a drop but we all know that will never happen...

The longer the fight is, the more different styles of combat you use, the better the reward. Nothing about killing someone in under 5 seconds with special attacks is "impressive" at last Jagex will finally reward true pkers (mb style) with the rewards they deserve.

I'm skint, only rares I have is 1 Red Partyhat left and 1 of every other Rare (no other phats).

Just to let you all know, I reloaded the page and logged back in and I'm at the part where you need to step down a set of stairs before you see the Brutal Green Dragons.

If that's true, they would have attacked me and I would of had to go past all the other dragons without getting hit and no prayer being drained. I also would of had to climb a set of stairs which says something in the chat-box right?

I've just installed HyperCam and recorded it, so hopefully I have video proof too. People cant just say "its a private server" then :D

If Jagex liked this idea they would of already began work on it as I'm sure they check these forums every now and then, don't you think?

I'm not sure, I mean having 88 Prayer really should have its benefits compared to the Level 49 Prayer one, don't you think?

I haven't thought of any names for them yet but these are my ideas (post your ideas with Level requirements too). Level 80 - UnknownName - 5x restore rate for all stats except Summoning and Prayer. Level 88 - UnknownName - Heals you to full hitpoints if activated when hitpoints below 10%. Level 96 - UnknownName - Increases your Attack, Strength and Defence by 30%. What's your ideas?
