GE Express 0.6 Beta - Runescape GE Client
Well Iv decided not to make this open source as the code is over 60 pages. Wow, 60 pages?! LeetChecker is like a 20 line-long program :D

Anyone been to the Ogre Enclave lately?
I'd really like to know what bots they use if they are autoers.

GE Express 0.6 Beta - Runescape GE Client
From what I understand, the program only retrieves data in direct response to a user request. And this is different from accessing the website directly, how? Because in his program he's making several requests not just one (change % for each item is a new request) as you will see by this: http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/results.ws?query=barrows&price=all&members=

Hits on RuneScape.com
I remember Andrew or someone or it may even be on the Jagex website under advertising saying something along this line: We're partnered with WildTangent (advertising website) if you feel you can benefit us too our website reaches over 1 billion hits per month... Something along those lines.

Jagex did say they would start showing more hints around their websites etc but I really don't know with this one. Yes, we've all established it's the Dragon Platebody but the real question is not "what is it" but "will they release it or is it just for show?" It's a 50/50 thing with me and I'm not sure :(

GE Express 0.6 Beta - Runescape GE Client
If you're parsing all those images and texts directly from RuneScape's page every time a user requests them Jagex will probably email you asking you to change your code due to you basically overloading them with page requests. I suggest (if you haven't already) parse all items into a database along with item descriptions and prices and set up a cron to update all the prices when their site does. Edit: Looks nice but for me personally; there are far too many options, I prefer smaller steps (eg with mine/LeetChecker u just search and you get a result) although I really do like yours, blend it in more with RuneScape (use their colours) and it'll look awesome!

RuneScape formulas revealed!
Your Combat Formula is much different to mine as my Ranger/Mager class values are 0.483. However, mine has still not been wrong yet (it's used in sigs). Also, you have your Attack/Strength set as one value (0.325) which means if they make an Attack Pure with no (or low-ish) Strength the Combat output would be wrong, you have to give each of them a value as their numbers are different, although it's very good work. Your Max Hit Formula is totally different to mine, the "AGS" for an example: I hit a 70 on a Waterfiend the other day (couldn't believe my eyes) I only had 162 Str bonus and was using Super Strength Potion and Ultimate Strength, which means all max hit formulas (including my own) where set wrong for the AGS. Dragon Longsword - I've had 115 Strength Bonus (ultimate str and super str pot used) and I've hit a 52 before, my calculator outputs a 53 (im sure I could hit that if I kept trying) but the closest on your set of outputs is RuneUniverse's with 49 which is way out. Nice combination of formulas though, good work.

The "Value" of Charms
I'd probably go along with that if I had too, personally I'd say: [*:2o9059ov]Gold: 2.5K [*:2o9059ov]Green: 4K [*:2o9059ov]Crimson: 9K [*:2o9059ov]Blue: 12K

Looking for Beta Testers for new RS related program.
Thanks, it actually looks really interesting and actually well done... Very interested :o

Pure Stupidity....
Yeaaaaaah! Rofl, you would think they'd take more time making their names, especially ones with item names in them or spells/arrows whatever, because we all know something better will come out eventually.

Can I just ask what the hell makes you think you're so right all the time? Dragon Chain? No. The dragon chain has only 1 [bleep]e on either shoulder, besides, just because the arms dont go much further than the shoulder it doesn't mean it's not a platebody, look at bandos plate for example, it looks just like that with big wristguards. Incase you didn't notice, most dragon items look different to their bronze-rune counterparts, so who are you to say that is not a dragon platebody? :ohnoes: I did correct myself above...

That's just concept art, it always differs from what eventually gets modeled.

After looking closely, it does look like the Dragon Platebody model by Jagex. I've circled the "give away" in my eyes, hopefully you can see it too (if not, try brightening the image or turning your brightness on monitor up)

It's not the chainbody, it looks exactly like the leaked in game model of the dragon platebody. Torag's Platebody and Dharok's Platebody don't cover the arms either, guess they are chains too aren't they? edit - Side by side comparison, mods feel free to remove: Center of the body on the woman still looks "chain-maily" to me...

It's Clan Wars and Dragon Chainbody. Why Clan Wars? The image is saved as Clan Wars, pretty self explanatory really. Why Dragon Chainbody? It looks exactly like a rendered Chainbody for starters, plus it doesn't go down the arms fully (like a Platebody would) therefore, it's a Chainbody. Before anyone says "look at her lower arm"... They're Black vambraces. Hope that helped.

Whats with the AGS?
It is unwise to state your speculations as facts. It's 3 Hit U, that's just what he does. On the odd occasion that he's correct he goes round like he knows everything... Jagex wrote: These drop tables will include "PvP world specific" items like XP-modifying gear, lvl 70+ equipment and new, glorious, short-term but hard hitting gear. These will once again make PKing a viable source of income. ----------------------------------- I typo'd, I meant to put 70 not 80.
-
Whats with the AGS?
They're going down because of the "new" 80+ Attack/Strength items that PvP Worlders can use.

August 26th 2008 - All Fired Up
Ring of Fire You must have a Firemaking level of 62 to wear the Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire is a handy little ring, enchanted to teach you more of the workings of fire and how best to control it. As a result, you will receive a 2% boost to any Firemaking experience you earn while wearing it. This can be combined with the Flame Gloves for a total 5% boost. -------------------------------------------------------- Flame Gloves You must have a Firemaking level of 79 to wear the Flame Gloves. The Flame Gloves are completely resistant to ordinary flames, enabling you to better manipulate a fire in its early stages. As a result, you will receive a 2% boost to any Firemaking experience you earn while wearing them. This can be combined with the Ring of Fire for a total 5% boost. -------------------------------------------------------- Inferno Adze The Inferno Adze is a remarkable tool imbued with the heat of its forging. Its curious design allows it to be used in a variety of ways. Woodcutting You must have a Woodcutting level of 61 to use the Inferno Adze to cut down trees. The Inferno Adze features a blade along one edge, which can be used quite successfully to liberate logs from trees. Due to the immense heat stored in it, though, there is a good chance that it will set those logs on fire. If this happens, you will receive both the Woodcutting and Firemaking experience as normal. If the tree is not the sort to give you logs that can be burnt, this will not happen. If you'd prefer not to have your logs burst into flame, keeping the Inferno Adze in your inventory will ensure that you use another axe (whether wielded or in your inventory as well) to cut down trees. Wielding the Adze will mean that you always use it for Woodcutting. The Inferno Adze is comparable in speed and efficiency to a dragon axe. Mining You must have a Mining level of 41 to use the Inferno Adze to gather ore. The Inferno Adze is comparable in speed and efficiency to a rune pickaxe. Combat There are no requirements to wield the Inferno Adze.
