aha thats why i said if u consider it a style, because i dont really know if its its own style because i see so many diffrent things done in psp so i dunno if u would classify it as a style cause some ppl might... How would Psp be seen as a style? Thats the same as saying: 'My style is photoshop' :roll: Psp is a program, you can do lots more with it then just lame filterpiles.. Favourite..? Hmmz, I kinda like everything, as long as its done well.

Yeah, I was bored, so I randomly started drawing a logo :P Keep in mind this is not seriously for FenixDesign, I just had some more exercise :P To me, it looks kinda like a logo for some coffee-brand or something :lol: *shrugs*

Yeah, was wondering the same thing as dan, would it include the coding/scripting of the whole thing, or would it just be designing one? I've never really had a go at it, basicly because of the coding needed if you want a unique one, not in the standard app forms.. Still, nice things can be made in the same dimensions and forms and alignments as the default, as I've seen on some winamp skins.

Very nice work Kalevi, I really like the colours used in that. Only thing I can really say something negative about is that you should try to get rid of the black lines on the scubby things near his nose, and on his neck. Pretty much all I can crit on ;) Its really good. If theres nobody else entering within the few coming days, Ill close this.

Good job on making a really bad intro for yourself on this forum.. You claim to have 'professional' sigs, which is far from the reality from what I've seen on that forum.. Dont get me or anyone else who has been here for a while started on 'professional'. Has been quite alot of discussions about it during the time this was still scapeboard..

Is it that hard to even type the name of the style correct, even when used incorrectly..? That my friend can hardly be called grunge..

Wow Bmagic, thats great :D I like the use of multiple colours, and the blending of them. You also made a pretty nice hair texture there. I got no real significant crits, but you could try to lose the light drop shadow under the horn, small detail, but I think it would make it even beter. Perhaps let the hair flow into the body a bit more, so the transition from skin to hair isnt all that obvious, as its still outlined in black. Not too important, but its worth changing.. Best I've seen so far :D Im looking forward to see if kaveli has some edits done, I think he can make something really nice out of what he has now.. Good work people :D

Woohoo, more entries :D Im liking what I see ;) Here come the pointers: Jab: The texture work you've done there looks really neat, although I think you should make it flow in some other directions too. For example, the ear, I dont think the hair would go in that west direction, I think it would either grow up the ear, in the same direction, or down the ear. The second think I want to adress in your colouration, is the fact that it lacks actual depth. I can see you've tried, but it didnt come out right. Good texturing so far ;) Kaveli: Looks really nice, you really got the depth in there, nicely done. I got no real crits here, but perhaps try to give it some hairy texture, or scubby, perhaps that would look nice. You could also try to use a bit of colour variation. Perhaps the beast's ears are another colour on the inside, perhaps he has a line of different coloured fur going over his head to his neck.. Not needed, only a suggestion ;) Dark_Ice: I think the colours you've used are a bit too dark. The details it had, are too dark to see. Lighten it up a bit, it would work wonders. I like the fact that you have shadowed the area under the jaw, and its nicely done. Although after doing that, you should also get some depth into the jaw itself. Dont only shade where the black area's are, try to make some forms out of it, get some life into it ;) Perhaps look at the original drawing, and see where the shadows are highlights are.. Bmagic: Good work, you've got the idea of depth in there, and its nicely done. Im liking the colours you chose, but same as I said to Kaveli, try to get some colour variation in, perhaps a line of fur going from his nose-part to his neck or something ;) Im glad that alot people liked to do this kind of work, so I guess I can scan in some more images soon ;)

Looks good so far, here are the pointers: Try to define the deapth a bit more by getting the contrast up a bit. Try to define the muscles in his neck some more. Also, clean up the lines on his tongue a bit. The edges look too rough. Fix up the stray white pixels in his ear. And perhaps give his fur/hair some dark red highlights, I think it would look nice. Its a great start :D A note to everyone: Try not to leave the black lines and portions of black in his face and neck stay. Make them a darker tint of your base colour. This will make them look more like shadows in your work.

Its good to see a first try already :D I like what you've done, but as I've got some pointers :) Try to get some more depth in it. the drop shadows, arent really working. Try to think where the dark areas would be, in example, under his jaw. I think it would be better to change the black lines which are ment to point out some shadowing, to something a bit darker green as your base colour. I think I should have posted the original drawing up there too, to show you how I had intended it. The horn which starts at his eye, and leads backwards, doesnt really look like a horn with your colouring. Perhaps you saw it the wrong way, perhaps I wasnt too clear about it. Try giving it another colour as green, as its a horn. Its pretty good for a first try though, and Im really glad people are trying this :D
